Craig is the absolute best! The Marriott is under a full renovation and so far it is quite impeccable to say the least!

It's always nice to find a good restaurant in a hotel. This place has good food, good prices, and nice people. Whether you are staying at the hotel or you are looking for a date spot, this would be a place to go. The down fall was the quickness of the service. There was a larger party that was pulling a lot of there attention, but the food took awhile and the amount of times the server came around was lacking. I had to get up and ask for ketchup from the bar.

To date, I haven't ever been to a restaurant in a hotel that has disappointed. Sage Restaurant is located at the Mobile Marriott Hotel in Mobile Alabama near the airport. My husband and I decided to eat dinner here after checking in. It is conveniently located on the first floor at the back of the hotel near check-in. There wasn't anyone else eating here for dinner, but that was o.k. We ordered the Cobb salad with shrimp and chicken to share and an Angus burger with sweet potato fries. The Cobb salad was delicious. The burger was just o.k. I've had better. Service was excellent! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because there was a fly roaming around the restaurant that was very annoying. Other than that, If we stay at this hotel again we will definitely return.

You ever walk into a place and immediately think, "Yep... this is either going to be amazing or I'm…read moreabout to make a terrible decision"? Welcome to Judy's Place. Because this spot is not pretending to be anything. This is full-on, unapologetic dive. And I mean that in the best possible way. You walk in and it's like the '70s, '80s, and a little bit of someone's '90s basement bar all got together and said, "Let's not change a thing." Old banquet-style tables, a bar top that feels like it's hosted a thousand stories, and walls that have clearly seen some things. I loved it immediately. Now let's talk food. The folks next to me were deep into the chicken and dumplings and talking about it like it was a life event. You know that kind of table chatter where you start reconsidering your order mid-bite? Yeah, that. I went shrimp po' boy... and no regrets. Shrimp fried just right. Crispy, flavorful, doing exactly what it's supposed to do. Solid sandwich. The fries... eh, they showed up a little tired. Not terrible, just kind of there. A little cold, a little soggy, like they'd already had a long day. But here's the twist. You don't come to Judy's for perfection. You come for personality. For the feeling that you just discovered a place that doesn't care about trends, doesn't need a remodel, and definitely isn't chasing Instagram. It just is what it is... and somehow that works. Fold this into your expectations. If you need polished, keep driving. If you want real, pull up a chair. It's fun. It's different. It's got character for days. Four stars. And honestly, half the star is just for staying exactly the same all these years.

We waited a little bit before being seated. The hostess stated she wanted to make sure our server was able to give her undivided attention to our group and she was on top of everything. Excellent service!!! Our group ordered burgers, pork chops, the mesquite-grilled chicken dinner and salad and of course several rounds of rolls. Those rolls (hot, delicious, and buttery) got us into trouble as we all only ate half our our meals. We did enjoy what we had! My salad was huge and I was able to eat the rest for breakfast, wasn't going to let it go to waste. Didn't mind the leftovers at all. Never had any major issues while dining here in the past or with our most recent visit. We will be back!!!

And when we call the server over and advised him of the issue, he took my food back and the cooked in the window Took the food and made negative comments about what she mean. It taste like dish detergent and they just start making negative comments we can see them through the window because we were sitting right there near the window so we saw and heard everything that they said, and then it took forever for them to bring the food back out to me so I asked that they put it in a carry out because it was too late for me to even try and eat it if it was corrected and they brought him back in a small burger box. I have since Mark this restaurant off my list, I will not return.
