Well it has been years since I have been here. A lot has not changed here which is good, why mess with a good thing. This place has been around here for a while, and as always the people here are always great, our waitress Valynee was on top of it. She seated us very quickly and asked for our drink order. She was very attentive with her service brought us our drinks and gave us plenty of time to decide if we wanted an appetizer, before taking our order. We place our order and they had messed up steaks which it wasn't their fault. But the head chef made it right. So we went with it and couldn't complain when they own it. So we had the sirloin steak, fries, veggies and side salad, also the blackened RIBEYE STEAK, mashed potatoes, veggies and veggies and there special for the night the chicken cordon blue, fries, veggies and salad. Wow wow as always everything was cooked to perfection. If people would take the time and showed some pride on their food as the chef here does. Dude is always on top of it. He has a good taste in food and he keeps it simple but high quality. The price is always high. But you can't expect anything less. I will always and mean always pay for top notch food. Thank you for the amazing service, food, and atmosphere. Feeling full as I always do.

We are from out of state and found Sagebrush Grill on Yelp. It did not disappoint! The service was very personable and knowledgeable. The dishes our server, Shastel, recommended were spot on. We had the chicken cordon bleu, and the pork tenderloin. They were both amazing. The decor was rustic and felt very comfortable.

It was SO good the first time. We are back! If you are ever in Richfield UT, this restaurant is top notch with Chef Clark! Homemade prime rib soup...hearty and delicious, warmed the soul. Then on to a house specialty, Cordon Bleu, and Steve had the Prime Rib end cap. Add a bottle of Jordan Cabernet wine and you are all set!

I called Steve's Steakhouse today, knowing full well they don't usually take reservations for…read moresmaller parties. Laynee picked up; warm as a fresh cup of coffee and sharp as a new knife. I told her it was a first date and I was aiming to make it count. She didn't hide behind policy; she leaned in and helped me anyway. She went the extra mile and noted a table near the fireplace. That kind of touch means something. It's rare to find someone who helps set the stage for your evening before you even walk through the door. Laynee, you made a cowboy believe in smooth first dates again. If the steaks and service inside match the care you showed on that call, Steve's is doing things right... and I just might have a shot at that second date. Thank you.

The steak was not good. It was way too salty. We tried both the steak ends and the strip (I think…read morethey called it the Cowboy steak) and both too salty. The adult plate for the steak ends turned out to be as small as the kid's serving. We ordered "seasoned vegetables" as a side and it turns out that's just heated green beans probably from a can. The fruit side for the kids was also just canned mandarin wedges. The kicker is the entitlement to a 20% tip and the false claim that it was somehow a new mandated minimum, almost alluding or implying that it was a law or regulation. I tipped the 20% because I felt pressured to do so, which I regret. I usually tip 20% if service is good since I had friends and family in the restaurant service industry. But not being given an option and the entitlement mindset is off putting. Building is nice though...

We went into the bar and restaurant and were greeted by the hostess who asked for out IDs so she could scan them. (They scan everyone's ID, so be sure to have it with you when you go into the establishment. There is a large selection of draft beers. The menu is pretty large with everything from sandwiches to pizza and tacos. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and some carne asada tacos. The tacos were amazing and their pico de gallo was very tasty. The pizza was a good size for the price. This place is great. The food is tasty l, the beer is cold, and the seats are comfortable. Most important of all, the prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. This is a must visit for my return trip to Richfield.

It is spacious inside with large tables and a friendly, welcoming staff. I had a margarita with my lunch; only one though because I was driving. It wasn't strong but was tasty enough. The beers are mostly domestic with only one micro brew selection but there were plenty of national brand choices. The food was home made and not bad for bar food. I had a Pittsburgh cheese steak sandwich that I thought was good. I ordered it with a side salad instead of fries as I had also ordered the loaded Pastrami fries which came with cheese, pickles and mustard on top. It was a bit too rich and heavy for my taste and the flavors didn't really work well together. Maybe without the mustard I would have liked it more. Not a bad place for a rest stop or a reasonable local hang out as well with some decent food.

We are a little hoity-toity though: For my tri-tip 10 oz., it came out nicely spiced, medium rare as specified, but cut with the grain, not across it (which would have made it much more tender). No char / Maillard reaction on the outside. My spouse ordered blackened salmon, which again was spiced fine, but was not blackened at all. She also had a glass of "Merlot" wine, which was red, and had traces of alcohol in it. We arrived on July 24th, Utah's Founder's Day. Since they are a franchise they are not identical, and each one seems to play off the local identity and try to have decor that aligns with the area as well as the bear themed stuff. They have a small gift area, not overwhelming but a few branded items and typical touristy stuff. It's cute and seems to be well made stuff. Food - Oh yea, there's food! They have a really extensive menu and breakfast is served all day. My only regret is I love tri-tip and they have it on the menu but each time I was at a Black Bear they had run out. Admittedly we had arrived very late and I'll assume it's both good and popular since all three had run out. It's worth noting that for breakfast, they have real link sausage as well as other options and the sausage is nothing that grocery store skinless junk most places serve today. I was glad to see they had good quality thick bacon as well as several sausage choices for breakfast.
