Nice dinner spot for date night and for groups! They don't take reservations, but we were able to walk in on a Saturday and get a table immediately. Groups trickled in and out through the evening. I ordered the Wife's favorite and I see why it's called that. The Linguine Rustica was delicious as well. The restaurant has nightly specials and seasonal dishes such as the strawberry salad and dessert. Service was great and attentive. 5/5 experience!

The service was great. Attentive and friendly server! I had the smoked salmon linguine but with shrimp instead of smoked salmon. I give 4/5 stars overall because I didn't LOVE my meal but I liked it. I would still go back to try something new! Also you have to pay for bread, not complimentary and I think bread should be standard at an Italian restaurant. Overall good date night spot.

I have had a problem finding an Italian restaurant that we've liked since moving to the Eastside. I'm not sure how I missed this gem living here so long. I've passed it many times but never paid close attention. I saw a glowing review and decided to check it out. The Ambiance is warm and cozy. Server was attentive and friendly. Food service was fast. Wife's favorite instantly became my wife's favorite. Penne, shitakes, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and basil and grilled chicken breast in Sages Pink sauce. Very good. I had the Smoked Salmon Linguine. We tried to hold off dessert, but we decided on the Bailey's Walnut Cake. Soft and delicious. Melts in your mouth. I loved it. We'll be coming back!

Love coming here! I would come to sages once a week if I could. The best staff and amazing food. Best place for dinner.

Sages had been in my to-go Italian place for a long time now. Finally got a chance to try the place out and I was not disappointed. Although it was a weekend evening, the place was pretty crowded. Luckily I didn't have to wait for too long and was seated under 10 minutes. The Lobster Ravioli was amazing. The same can be said about the "wife's special" which was basically a Pasta served with pink sauce with sundried tomatoes and grilled chicken breasts. Overall top notch dining experience. The ambience doesn't really stand out but the flavor and food does.

I love this place. Authentic Italian, even with hearing it yelled across the BOH, with exceptional food. Came with a friend and we shared the caprese, bread and brownie al la mode. I had the Wife's Favorite for my main, which is penne with sundried tomatoes, grilled chicken and shitakes in a lovely sauce. I also had a Sage's Salad which was wonderful - baby mixed greens, candied walnuts, gorgonzola, craisins with oil and balsamic vinegar. My friend had the chicken gorgonzola and inhaled it. Our waitress was a hoot and moved at the speed of lightning. My only feedback is I was told they had nothing to drink but wine. I don't drink and would appreciate some Sanpellegrino, soda, lemonade, etc.

I have been to this place a few times in the last decade or so since I live nearby. The place has a great ambiance and offer tasty dishes. Everything we ordered was pretty good but here is the reason why I cannot give the full five stars. - too salty in general. Especially the smoked salmon was too salty to eat. - heavy sauce. Compared to traditional Italian dishes this restaurant tends to use a bit of heavy sauce in general. I can see why locals give 5 stars and while I like this place and would come back occasionally I wouldn't choose this place for traditional Italian cuisine.

The presentation here is cozy elegant. The ingredients seem top shelf. The lobster ravioli had a hint on lobster inside. But the meat topped on the outside was shrimp. Though it looked kind of like lobster

I have been living here for 16 years and I did not know about this place. My family and I were craving for some Italian food and we de used to give this place a try. Everything we ate was delicious!!! I had the Lobster Ravioli and it was sooo good. Very buttery taste and yet smooth. My friend had the paste with sausage and it was super tasty as well. My husband had the filet mignon which was fantastic. We also had the spicy shrimp for appetizer and we all enjoyed it very much. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They had nice seats there and the ambiance was good. After we paid and was about to leave I saw the waitress serving too beautiful places and I asked what those were. She told me it was the halibut. Somehow I missed it in the menu. Well, I guess have to come back there to try it. :)

If you haven't been here before, you order off the iPad, find your own table and wait for your order. They'll call your name and you walk over to the kitchen to grab your plate. Ambiance is noisy with loud kitchen noises of the cooks working diligently and the music is loud enough to accompany the clang of the dishes being cleaned. We ordered the Short Ribs Ragu and well... it was just alright. The noodles and "short ribs" were bland. The meat is more consistent with stew meat and as my wife said, it's just missing the carrots, potatoes and the stew itself. The portion size is fine in terms of the noodles/pasta itself. The meat portion is minimal and after tax, we were out the door at just shy of $41. We did order a flavored Pellegrino. Overall, just not impressed. Again, nice staff, clean restaurant, it's loud but if you're fine with that... cool. Food is nothing to rant about at $20/plate.

Due Cucina - Redmond…read more We really enjoyed everything we ordered here. Burrata Tricolore -- The salad was a standout. The balsamic dressing, pine nuts, and fresh greens were already delicious, and the burrata tied it all together with that perfect creamy finish. I could honestly eat this every day Eggplant Parmigiana -- Flavorful, satisfying, and refreshingly reasonable in portion size. Unlike some places that serve a mountain of bland eggplant, this one delivered on taste without overwhelming you. Carbonara -- Creamy, cheesy, and simply delicious. Pesto Pasta with Burrata -- Another favorite. The pesto had great flavor without that overly strong basil punch some places have. Adding burrata made it even better. Cheese Ravioli with Sage Butter -- Soft ravioli with a nicely filled center, paired with a sage butter sauce that was subtle rather than overpowering. Too much sage can ruin a dish for me, so this balance was perfect. A quick heads-up: this isn't a full-service restaurant. You order at the kiosk/front counter, grab your own utensils, napkins, and water, pick up your food when it's ready, and bus your own table afterward. We didn't mind the self-service setup at all--the food more than made up for it. We'll definitely be back

New menu tonight, first the Panzela (most likely mispelled this) was delicious, a medley of vegs and croutons in a pesto was great and probably the best of the night honestly. 4.5 Stars. The chicken smelled, and looked great, but was just too chicken "breasty" if you know what I mean. Just a bit bland and plain, needed a bit more salt. The skin was well cooked and you do need to wait just a tad longer for the prep on this. It is a solid dish but nothing special. Could I eat it multiple times, probably, great protein. 3.5 Stars. King Salmon and the prep around it was very nicely done. Fresh, healthy, clean, buttttttt overcooked. Asked for medium rare plus and the moment I saw the char I knew it would be overcooked. While still good, it just had too much orange if you know what I mean and not enough delicate touch to it. If done right, definitely could see myself ordering this often. But it was disappointing to have my salmon overcooked. 3.5 Stars. I think this is a very quaint, nice ambiance, neighborhood restaurant. Not a destination restaurant though. Sorry. The service and the potential however makes it promising.

My friend should not have eaten everything, but whether it was simply high hunger that drove my friend to clear both our plates or his upbringing that would not allow any food to go to waste or complaint heard I do not know. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara which had no flavor, pasty sauce, and the most basic grocery-store bought noodles I have ever eaten. I tried adding salt and Parmesan cheese - anything for flavor - and like a black hole that captured light the dish refused flavor. I ate a quarter of it and tapped out. My friend ordered another dish and plowed through mine and his, drank his wine, and said nothing. As he paid and we left he simmered with anger and when I inquired why he said that the wine tasted like a bottle that sat in too hot of conditions and had a most acidic taste of an spoiled wine. He noted his displeasure of the dishes they were out of stock on (no lasagna, no calamari available) and the fact that it was the worst Italian food he had ever eaten. He said my noodles tasted like glue. I don't know why he drank the horrible wine or ate mine and his food, except that he was hungry, but he was cranky for the rest of the day. I just realize how unlikely I will return.

Their outdoor patio is absolutely stunning when the weather's nice, full of natural light and lovely views of the park greenery. The problem here is that in keeping the same name the reviews and overall rating reflect both the previous Italian and the current breakfast restaurants, which doesn't provide a realistic overall view of it. It's also why it's still being reported as closed. This might be more of a Yelp problem but it's still nevertheless a problem. Regardless, I gave two stars and that's being generous. The waiter was friendly and the service prompt but that's only a small part of the equation. The main breakfast dishes contain four eggs which sounds generous but really, who eats four eggs in one sitting? The only "light" options are for "seniors and children"; there was no omelet offered there and those options are only for one egg. Weird that the choices are too much or too little. I was able to ask for a two-egg omelet and the waiter was gracious by offering me a $2 discount though the cook still used four eggs. That would have been fine but what I got wasn't a traditional omelete as everyone knows it. I asked for link sausage and swiss cheese and it was really a kind of scramble--it wasn't an omelet at all, it was flat and the combination of eggs and cheese seemed to lead me to believe that the eggs may have been underdone. There was either way too much cheese or it was of inferior quality (maybe both). Either way it was unappetizing and I barely ate any of it. For a breakfast of this size I would expect two pieces of toast and got only one. I asked for the hash browns to be crispy and they weren't. My wife got the senior scramble with cheddar and bacon, and the menu wasn't clear about the meat--she thought the bacon would be on the side but it was actually in the scramble. She said it was just ok. With the tip it came to close to $50 (with two cups of coffee, which was ok), which is still too much for a breakfast that was lacking in quality. The menu is enormous and the other breakfast and lunch items sounded interesting, but this first experience doesn't instill a lot of confidence for anything else they offer, to me at least. Readers may feel differently based on the other, more positive reviews for the breakfasts seen here but based on this visit we probably won't be back, and if nothing else be forewarned that what they call an omelet just isn't.
