Good food. The location and general atmosphere with the interior layout leave something to be desired, but the food is good. A little pricey, but then it's unique and made from good ingredients. If you want a taste of Brazil that's not snack food, this is the place to try.

Place was def giving deserted money laundering vibes. Host was super straight forward nonchalant but the steak lemme tell you it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. It had a perfect sear and was a nice medium rare better than i could ever do it. But granted i burn my eggs sometimes. Price itself was a bit up there for $30 a plate but bulk approved.

Tried this sport during a dinner time on a weekday. The service was good. The ordered was taken promptly. We were given food recommendations by the staff. We ended up trying the beef steak churasco special, beef stroganoff and the lamb. The steak was a bit dry even though we ordered a medium., the lamb was excellent and the stroganoff was not bad. The food was all well marinated and flavorful. There plenty of parking around and ambience is not bad - lots of colors and decors that will take you to Brazil.

This place opened up early August of this year and I was excited to try it. I don't really know a lot about Brazilian cuisine but this place did not disappoint! We loved everything from the fried plantains, fried yuca, garlic shrimp to the beans and steak. Lots of good flavors. The waiter, Rodrigo, was super friendly and attentive. The ambience, colorful and eclectic!! Definitely worth coming back to try their lunch offering on a weekend!

    Dinner is done!

Food is overpriced and overcooked. Service is nonexistent if you aren't friends with the staff.

Chinese cooking is all about frying, stir-frying, simmering, and deep frying ,heat control is everything. Japanese cuisine requires various types of dashi and relies on water, whether it's the ingredient's natural juices or seawater. Western chefs need to have tasted widely and seen it all to develop the right flavor pairings and aesthetics All the dishes, the combinations and flavors were fantastic. Black Cod: The cod dish was easily the highlight of the meal--exceptional texture, unique flavor profile, incredibly fresh ingredients, and cooked to absolute perfection. I highly recommend it! All dishes in happy hour were delicious. The only slight disappointment was the steak. We ordered it medium, but it was clearly overcooked when it arrived--closer to medium-well--and had a bitter aftertaste. After speaking with the staff, they remade it for us; while the new one was cooked to absolute perfection, the bitter aftertaste was still there. The ambiance is impeccable, with sweeping views of Lake Washington and Bellevue. The staff are impeccably dressed, articulate, and provide top-notch service.

From the moment I stepped inside to the decor and service to the taste and quality of food, I was impressed the entire night. Most bbq places are laid back and loud, but this place is refined, sophisticated, and everything you'd want for a date night or celebration. Starting off with service, everyone we spoke with was lovely and inviting. We felt welcomed and our server kept checking on us, but wasn't too invasive, so we were able to catch up. We were greeted with hand towels and 3 options for water. Cutlery and tableware were nicely set up and I'm obsessed with their plates! I was blown away by all of the dishes we ordered but my favorites were definitely the Uni Toast, Wagyu Volcano, and honestly all the meats we ordered to grill. They grill your meats for you, so it is a bit awkward because the person stands there until everything is done, but it's cooked to perfection! Highly recommend for a nice date night or celebration dinner.

We started with a wagyu toast and the meat just melted in your mouth. We also had alaska king crab with A5. Kind of a surf and turf nigiri. The uni toast was a little too much toast but it was a generous amount of uni. The Rubik's cube was a literal cube of meat. They cook it to perfection in front of you. Lots of sauces and sides to try. Everything was very good. It's amazing how different each cut of meat tastes. I loved the silky egg yolk in the volcano. They offer bottle service as well as drinks and their drinks were excellent. Would definitely go back!

The entire team works so flawlessly together. The food. We started with the bread service which was $12. Honestly, Id pass on this. Its nothing special. Second was the roasted bone marrow - Again, pass. At $28 there wasn't much marrow. I mean, it was good, don't get me wrong! But I wouldn't order it again. Ahi Tartare - Very good dish with a lot of flavor! My Ribeye was incredible! My husband got the same thing and he too was over the moon. We ended with the Bananas Foster. Any time a place makes Bananas Foster tableside, you know its going to be amazing, and this was! It's fun to watch them prepare it, and even more fun to enjoy it. We will definitely be back. This last dinner we had was very disappointing and surprisingly so unlike John Howie it used to be. We went for our anniversary/birthday and we brought an out of town guest with us. We ordered: Ceasar salad A bottle of Big Farm Wine Tartare Brussel sprouts Lobster mashed potato 2 order ribeye cap Long bone ribeye 2 filet mignon Few things: Our server didn't even ask oh, are we celebrating anything today, like any other restaurant Secondly, we asked for medium rare to close to medium. Our Long bone came out well done. The manager was about to serve that to us. Until we said, um...that's not medium rare or medium. You worked at steakhouse, and you should know what medium rare look like. The rest of the steaks were more medium than medium rare, but we were hungry already. With the leftover, the server put in on the floor?? It's food, the carpet is dirty and they've stepped on by many ppl from wherever they came from. We moved it to the table, and they moved it again to the floor. That drove all of us crazy. Other side notes: We noticed, they don't clean up the crumbs etc in between from the table anymore. And we saw when they cleaned up other tables, they just sweeped them to the floor, we saw old napkins on the floor when new guests arrived. We do not expect these from John Howie Steakhouse, and especially when you paid $1000 in one sitting. Btw, we told the manager about not putting leftover food on the floor. Our server chased us on the way out and asked if she did something wrong. She was surprised that the leftover food is not supposed to be on the ground. Ps: got no complimentary bday or anniversary deserts. They said no. But i saw 2 other tables got things not from desserts menu with candle on it. Interesting.

But that's not my style so here I go... First off, the ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant as you immediately step inside is spectacular. It's elegant but with a casual feel. Or maybe it was its casual with an elegant vibe... either way, you cannot go wrong. Depending on the time of day, if the wait is long, I'd suggest grabbing a drink from the full bar. Once seated, we ordered our drinks and headed over to the salad bar/cold cuts and grabbed some select items. I'm always careful to not overload on the trimmings as I'm here for the various cuts of meats. Pretty simple process. You flip your marker (green) over for cuts of meat being offered and over again (red) if you want to enjoy your meal. Then on and off again. The skewers of meat are divine, ranging from bacon wrapped chicken, to sausages, to a variety cuts and cooked beef, pork, or lamb. I opted for a 6oz. Lobster tail dripping in succulent butter, as well! Such an amazing experience! Thank you to the staff of Fogo and all of the chefs... hats off to you! As always, enjoy and Happy Sampling!

Fogo de Chão has officially entered its flop era…read more We usually come for the full churrasco experience, but on our last visit, we were practically begging for scraps. You'd think the gauchos were personally rationing the beef for winter...we were lucky if we managed to flag down three measly slices of meat all evening. Since the skewers were treating us like ghosts, we decided to order the dry aged steak that's supposedly sized for four people. Total fiction. What arrived was barely enough to satisfy two mildly hungry toddlers. Getting anything to the table took an eternity...drinks, side dishes, basic eye contact, yet the second we finished eating, the bill appeared at Olympic sprint speed. Truly unmatched efficiency when it's time to swipe the card. To top off the premium priced misery, the women's restroom was an absolute disaster zone. At this point, paying top dollar for neglect, false meat promises, and dirty restrooms is a hard pass. There are far better places to drop this kind of cash. We won't be back.
