I got a pedicure here and I was immediately greeted and taken to the foot tub. Place is very big and pretty inside. Very relaxing. Clean restrooms. My pedicure was great. I was offered a beverage. When I checked out the man was kinda rude he wouldn't look at me and he just kept barking commands at me for paying on the machine. When I got change for my tip he threw my money on the counter even though I had my hand out- which I hate. Then he ran my card twice and I was double charged! Yay! When I found it I came back into the business and the manager was very kind about finding my transaction and processing a refund- no arguing. Very efficient process for handling disputes. I haven't gotten the money back on my debit card yet but I'm sure I will. Overall, the experience wasn't bad but the man at the front desk when I came the first time left a lot to be desired in the way of customer service. read more

I have always had good nail techs at this Spa. One time the woman who did my eyebrow wax was rough in jerking my head but my brows looked great! The techs make sure I am satisfied with the color and my service. I can relax there with my headphones on during pedicures because the salon music and people's conversations are not too loud. I recommend this Nail Spa. read more

Went to go get my acrylic nails taken off, rather than chew them off myself. I paid $15 dollars to get my nails drilled off, my pinky nail broken in half, leave with some acrylic still left on my nails, and topped off with a clear nail polish. I went here to get my nails professionally taken off and I left $15 dollars poorer with the worst nail service experience. read more

I'm so disappointed with this set! The matte finish bubbled up on both my nails and feet. I went in today to have it fixed by Peter who seemed to have an attitude because he had to fix this mess. I also told them I was on my work break and that I needed this fixed at the same time. Wasn't done. I walked out and only when walking out did the guy up front say "you can come now". I walked out! Money wasted and the set and feet still look like shit! I've been coming to this location for years! I also spend $120 plus, and I tip well every time! No one wants to keep coming back to have stuff fixed. DO THINGS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME AROUND AND LOSE THE ATTITUDE! I WILL NOT BE BACK! read more

I debated on posting about Saginaw Nails Spa because my experience will be heavily mixed. This was my first time going here and I am not sure if I'll go back. The building itself is clean, upscale type atmosphere, staff is friendly and was busy but I didn't have to wait. They do offer sodas, water, wine and some type of frozen concoction- no beer (boo). Prices are average for services they offer. The lady that did my pedicure was friendly but it seemed like she was in a hurry. The massage was like non existent, but when it came to scrubbing my feet she was rough. So much so she nicked my skin on the side of my foot. I did flinch but she kept going. When cleaning/cutting my toes she was pretty rough too. I did point out what she did and she said "oh!", rubbed the area and kept going. The paraffin wax was extremely hot. Like too hot that I pulled my foot away. She looked up and said, "hot?" I said, "yes". I honestly thought I'd gotten burned on the bottom of my foot but it is fine just sensitive. In the end though, I can say that I have never had as smooth feet that I do right now. Like baby's bottom smooth which I guess is the plus. I want to note that I am not sensitive with my feet in any way and this is certainly not my first time getting a pedicure. Nothing was new in the service provided to me. I did lie when the manager cashed me out when asked if everything was good. I kind of stumbled and said, "yeah". I didn't want to be that person. She was nice but ... I now lather my scrape with neosporin in hopes it doesn't get infected. As mentioned, I am not sure I'll go back. Plus ... no beer (boo). read more

I have been coming to Saginaw nails for over 5 years; it has always been a great experience, however, recently, they have a new young man who took over the front desk, he is one of the most heartbreaking , rude individual you could ever meet. Yesterday, he yelled at me while I was getting my nails done because his worker, wrote down what I wanted, wrong. He humiliated me in front of so many people. Needless to say, due to his provocative behavior, I did not want to create a bigger scene so I told the ladies to just continue what they were doing so he would walk away. I cried for about a good 45 minutes while the ladies finished my nails, both ladies were so nice and kept apologizing for his behavior. he never once said sorry. Be careful at this nail shop, they have staff that yell and try to humiliate people when they make mistakes. read more

I have been coming here for about a year. I love my manicure when Peter does it. I have had several manicures that were painful and not what I wanted. I have only had one pedicure that I was pleased with. The last pedicure I had was painful and she cut my nails too short. She cut the cuticle on my great toe and laughed about it. I really wanted to like this spa. It's absolutely gorgeous inside and the people were friendly. I acknowledge I came in 45 minutes before they closed but I had call prior and they said they accepted walkins and I asked again when I arrived if they had time, again they said yes. I won't say who did my toes but they were definitely rushed and I would've preferred to be turned away instead of having a rush job. I chose the deluxe pedicure and gel (extra $20) but then I only got the tips which I was not told was an additional $5. I was shocked by that honestly, especially considering the job done. I probably won't return back here but they're nice and it's very nice inside but for the price I'd prefer a better job done. read more

This was my first time at this nail salon for starters I was quite confused when attempting to check in normally they have you write down what service take your name and pick a color in this case I told the guy at the front I was wanting a pedicure he said go pick a color I pick a color and just stood there waiting bc I wasn't sure is that was all. He grabs me to go to the chair 10 mins later and everything was good until I felt my feet it didn't not feel like I just got a pedicure but instead like I walk outside with no shoes on ( I'm a little country bumpkin so I do but hence why I get pedicures) along with that I get home look at my toes they are streaky and not an even coat. I most definitely will continue going to my original salon. read more

If you need a basic single color gel nails, this is the place to go! I moved to the area last year and am in the hunt for a new nail place/technician so I decided to try this place. I wanted French tips with a coffin shape. They didn't get the shape right and corrected them, but they caught a bit of an attitude when I did. I tried to trust the process afterwards thinking they'd know what they're doing but they are not symmetrical nor pretty. I do not plan on coming here again. read more

So I am pleased. I've lived in this area about 8 months and have been afraid to try a new nail salon. All the reviews for places seem mixed, but today I decided I needed a treat. I was a walk in on Saturday after 4, but they were able to help me with no wait. The place I used to go to near my old work location was always packed but their quality was inconsistent. So, despite no line out the door I decided to proceed. I chose the 2nd level of pedicure which was only $37, but featured all the goodies you usually pay closer to $50 for.... Paraffin , hot towels short massage, scrub and lotion. She even did the foot rasp thing for callouses. All in all it was a very good experience. They have the same box wine the other salons, and although I wasn't offered a refill, I didn't want one. It was clean, not too loud, and an attractive business. No one seemed terribly rushed or stressed which was nice My tech didn't talk to me, but she did a good job and didn't sit there laughing at me with a coworker which happens at other places. So, I won't give 5 stars until I go again and have another satisfying experience. The dip Mani will be the true test! That said, for $45 with tip my feet look pretty, feel smooth.... That's pretty much what I expect in a Pedi... And I didn't have to drive.to Alliance! read more

I LOVE Dao. She is the best nail technician I have ever had. I will probably always follow her wherever she goes but she is a perfectionist when it comes to my nails and i couldn't ask for more. She always listens to what I want and goes beyond it. Super sweet and attentive. Joe at the front desk is awesome as well. 10/10 read more

Ok so this was my first time coming to this place, I came In to get my acrylic nails removed, after waiting an hour and a half for someone to come to me (mind you people were coming in after me and getting services done) I told the lady (Lisa) to be careful because I had broken 3 nails. She ignored what I had said and burned every single nail to the point where I pulled back my hand TWICE, she pulled my hand back and slapped it and kept going. And said she couldn't do my nails if i kept pulling my hand. She proceeded to finish but still left the color on my nails. Walk in experience-- wonderful establishment! I did not call ahead and they were very accommodating. Jimmy who seemed to be the manager was so pleasant, he assisted in recommendations for a white that wasn't opaque, but not too stark white. Peter did my manicure & dip nails and was very detail oriented and didn't miss a beat, made sure to clean up my cuticles and got the shape just perfect, I like my nails very short and he was sure to ask and confirm I liked the final shape. Lisa did my pedicure and was very sweet & my polish was stunning, perfect coverage without any polish on my skin. I will never go here again. I had my nails done here a few weeks ago. Tips with dip. The lady who did my nails was super rude and frustrated with how unrelaxed my hand was she smacked my hand. I should have left then. She filed my nails down paper thin and cut my skin. This is now the product of my nails, weak and fragile. read more

So I came here three weeks ago on a Friday afternoon with my Husband. I opted for the classic manicure with the gel nail polish and classical pedicure with regular nail polish. It went great, customer service was great and very nice. My manicure and pedicure were done well because they have been going strong for 2 1/2 weeks with no chips. I was so impressed that I decided to come by again, today, Friday, March 16th at 3pm. I went in, and realized they were somewhat busy today, but still opted to sign in and fill the form of the service I wanted, especially since I have a baptism to attend tomorrow. Finally one of the female employees approached me and asked to see my form. She pulled out the gel nail polish books so I could pick a color. I opted for the red color number #66 and was then seated at one of the stations. The ladies on both ends of me where being taken care so I knew that the nail techs helping them saw me sitting between these ladies. I sat there, other nail techs passed by, multiple times, other customers (4 to be exact) got seated and got nail techs right away, and I just sat there, waiting. Finally, after 30 minutes, and getting tired of seeing others that came after me get help I just walked out. I don't have time to be waiting on someone to decide to do my nails. I also don't have time to let them know I have been waiting for service, its not my job as a customer to let them know that they are lacking. While I also understand that they were busy, why make a customer sit at a station if someone is not going to help them right away? I would have been happier if they made me sit by the entrance and wait till someone was available to do my nails. While I really liked the way they did my manicure and pedicure the first time around, Im not going back and will advise others not to unless they are willing to sit there for a while until someone decides to do your manicure and/or pedicure. read more

I just wanted my hands and nails painted. The guy at the door was brash . Jackie did a nice job and would be great if you didn't want to talk at all. The job was just okay. Most places push the cuticle back and trim any wild skin that is in the way of painting. Not so here- average job. Friendly staff would have probably made a huge difference. I consider getting my nails done and extravagance and I like to be a pleasant relaxing experience. If you want to be left totally alone Jackie is your lady. read more

I've been here twice and will be going again this weekend for a mani/pedi. My husband got a great pedicure, they did a good job and were very friendly and attentive. I've had a pedicure with Dani and he was awesome and funny. I went back the next day and got my first ever dip nails by Lily. They have lasted for almost 4 weeks. Yes, they are long but have not lifted, cracked, or chipped. I love that they have great hours so I'm hoping I can make it tonight after work before they close. The salon itself is very clean, nicely decorated and the ambient is warm and inviting. This is my go-to salon. Excellent service all-around! read more

The service is not great. The lady doing my pedicure didn't remove the gel I had from my old pedicure and I guess thought I wouldn't notice how uneven and obvious the bump was on my big toe. I tried telling her but she didn't speak English so her manager had to tell her. He seemed in awe himself judging by how he was raising his voice and facial expressions. It was very obvious!! I tried giving this place another shot. The person doing my manicure cut my finger and wanted to continue the manicure without wiping it. Unreal! Moving on to another place. read more

I reached out to her via the FB, and she said I could come in to clear it up. I did that today. After some explaining, she gave me a cash refund, but she had said I would have to delete my review. I said I would update my review but that I still didn't appreciate the service I had gotten from her and that she should have inquired more instead of suggesting I was lying about my service as she had said multiple times there was no record of it. I walked out, but she and a male worker followed me to my car, telling me that they would call the police if I did not delete my review. She said she followed me to my car because we were not done talking, to which I said we absolutely were because I had gotten my refund, which was my purpose for going. She again said she would call the police if I didn't take down my review, and that there were cameras in there. I asked her to confirm she was threatening me with the police if I didn't delete my review and added that I was recording our audio the entire time. She then said she never said that. Then she said that the issue was that her tech claimed that they never charged me for service that day, and I needed to talk to her tech. That sounds like an issue between them, but I did go back inside. The owner pulled up a copy of my receipt from the date of service. She kept talking about needing to give me some type of receipt, but I didn't need one? She also kept saying she needed proof that I was charged, while she had the copy of the receipt in her hand. Then she said she needed the last 4 numbers of the credit card I had used, which I told her multiple times was on the copy of the transaction from my bank that I had already showed her (and she had taken a picture of it.) I had also already given it to her verbally, but I gave her to her again. She started saying she wanted me to give her the cash refund back and that she would refund me to my credit card instead, to which I said no because she had handed me the cash refund already, and I absolutely did not trust her at this point. She eventually gave me "permission" to leave and asked me to never come back. Done deal - and I don't encourage anyone else to return either.

I went with my natural nails for the Mani today so they're super short but I like short nails and it's still a polished professional look. Even got a wine refill and I'm hanging out writing this review. I'm so glad this salon is near my house because they are consistently giving good service with everyone I've worked with being polite, attentive and most importantly good at their job. They charge extra for cuticle work and tips for dip Mani but the prices are in line with others and the quality after 4 visits has been consistent Only thing I will say is they don't all clean your hands after the Mani with the hot towel and use lotion.
