Traveling from out of town to Monterey. We stopped at the Gilroy's Outlet and decided to have lunch. We love Thai food, so we looked up & came upon this one. Small personal restaurant and nice music. We enjoyed the Tom Yum soup. We asked for Thai spicy spice level, but we wished it was spicer. We also enjoyed the chicken larb. We didn't care too much about the bbq pork strips because it didn't look liked it on their menu. It was more liked thin strips of sweet red bbq pork. It's was a bummer. With all of the foods, We were hoping it has more authentic Thai flavors, but I guess it's ok since it's in Gilroy. We're just hungry. read more

Under new management. Happy that they served the old menu plus new Thai dishes. The fried tofu was very over cooked, but the waitress offered to take it off the bill and the chef came out to apologize. We also ordered the tofu noodle soup and a the lemon grass vermicelli. Both of these items were delicious. Will be back soon to try the pad Thai. I hope they work out the kinks soon! read more

My wife an d I found this place recently. Wow! Great food, good service and friendly staff. I love the green curry and the spring roles. We often call in on the way home and enjoy a great meal without any hassles. My only regret is that we lived here three years before discovering it. I highly recommend this place. read more

We went for the 1st time cz it was recommended and supposedly good. Sorry but theirs is the worst Pad Thai I've ever had. Their sauce is red and taste like catsup. The green curry was also mediocre. Needless to say we're not coming back. To be fair, the service is good. read more

I honestly love this place so much. It's inexpensive AND delicious! Usually I get the Vietnamese sandwich with pork and they load that thing with so much meat, which is a big plus for me. The people working there are really friendly and the food comes out super fast. If you're going to be sitting in to eat though, seats do go super fast. Other than that, this place is great! read more

I just went there yesterday and ordered Togo. The staff was amazing and friendly and very helpful. I order a meatball pho, because I've been craving pho for a while now. Being from San Jose where there is pho places every where this place was actually pretty good. I'm new to the area I told the lady and I advised her that there isn't many Asian spots or markets in Gilroy like San Jose and she agreed. The pho I got was a great price for what I got. Taste like most of the pho places I go to in san jose. I got a lot and I ended up sharing with my sister. The broth was good it just was a little too peppery for what I'm used to. I like that they have Togo packs for the hoasin sauce and the chili sauce. Over all I liked the pho and I will most likely be back when I'm craving pho again. read more

On our long journey back from LA, we yelped this place as we were starving for dinner. The place itself is not very big, narrow and long with a few tables. When we arrived, there wasn't an empty table yet for our party of 4, but they quickly tried to get a table ready as a couple was leaving soon. They apologized for the wait and we sat down. We were immediately greeted by a nice, young man. He asked what we wanted to drink and then we read the menu. The menu has a combo of Vietnamese and Thai food. The majority of the food was Thai with only a page of basic Vietnamese items. We ended up ordering mostly from the Thai menu and the spring rolls from the Vietnamese menu. There were 4 spring rolls instead of the usual 2 at most Vietnamese places in San Jose, so that was a plus. When my son returned from the bathroom, he said there was pee all over the floor and it was disgusting. We asked the staff to clean the bathroom and they did get someone to clean it up quickly. Back to the food. When our food came, the pad thai portions were large and looked and tasted delicious. We also ordered the yellow curry with chicken and that came with a generous amount of white rice (brown rice is available for extra). We ordered the Thai BBQ chicken, but everyone thought it looked like chau siu pork instead. It also tasted like pork and had the texture of pork. Perhaps it was the dark meat of the chicken. Oh well, we were hungry so we let it slide. Overall, the food was tasty, with generous portions, and best of all, the waiter gave us great customer service. He often checked on us and they seemed eager to please. They should keep their bathrooms cleaner as it does affect the impression of customers have about a restaurant. read more

Came to eat tonite. Waited to be seated as the sign says. The server said we could take the booth in the front window but it hadn't been cleaned yet. I perched on the edge of the seat with my body facing away from the booth. I'm a disabled vet and my back and legs were on FIRE (spent the day buying a truck) otherwise I would have waited until it had been cleaned. A young lady with long dark hair came over and said "I need to clean". I responded with "oh, ok", at which point she said "you need to move" with full attitude, rolled eyes and all. I beg your pardon! My husband overheard and asked should we leave. Exhaustion and hunger caused me to give in so we could just eat and go. We sat down. The table was soaking wet but only at the front edge. The straws and dirty napkins from the previous people were left on the table. All the condiments were a MESS and exactly as they had been before Ms. I Need to Clean. My husband cleaned the table himself and disposed of the trash while the young lady gave us more attitude as she took the table next to us order. NOT COOL, you never know who is disabled and NEEDS to sit!! read more
