I like this restaurant, and I will be back. So far I've tried the pho, chicken and tofu pad thai, summer rolls, thom kha gai, green curry, and honeydew boba tea. The pho was great, and the take out portion was generous. Pad thai was decent and cheap ($10). The green curry comes with eggplant, which I love. And the thom kha gai has great flavor. My only complaint is the chicken is pretty awful quality. It almost doesn't even taste like chicken. It's soft and without a true chicken texture. That's fine, I usually order tofu anyway. Oh, and the boba tea was forgettable. It's cheap at $3.50, but the boba pearls were overly soft, and the milk tea a bit bland. Service and prices are great. I will be back to try other menu items. So far this is the best place to go for pho in Kennesaw. Atmosphere: The place is very clean and bright with great decor. There is always music in the background and the sound level is just perfect. It is a cheery place without being too loud from other patrons. Plenty of parking in the lot in front. Food: There is a variety of Vietnamese food but then some Chinese food. Kinda odd. I have yet to try the Chinese food. Taste: I have tried the summer rolls which has the shrimp, pork, rice noodles, veggies in a rice wrapper. They were falling apart and were too over stuffed. The rice wrapper was cooked too long and therefore caused cracks in the rolls. The pho is pretty good. The broth is a bit darker than the "good pho" and the noodles are a bit over done. When you think about getting Vietnamese food outside of Buford Highway you get a little hesitant. Saigon Cafe is a little ways away from Buford Highway but don't let that distract from the fact that this place is pretty legit! The portion sizes are great, the service was awesome, and most importantly, the pho was actually pretty tasty. My wife and I both ordered Pho and were extremely happy with how it came out. Within 10-15 minutes of ordering our Pho came out with all the right spice and toppings. The spring rolls that we also ordered were very tasty! We've eaten here many times. I'm a big fan of their version of sweet tea. It hits the spot every single time. I go for the pho. Woodstock has a couple of places that serve pho and this place is my favorite. The rest of the family has explored more of the menu and have not been disappointed. My daughter gets lo mein and my wife usually gets Mongolian steak. My son has explored the menu a bit more and I can personally vouch for the spicy basil shrimp. The soups and appetizers we've had have also been great. Highly recommend to anyone rolling through Woodstock. read more

Pho was great . Service was poor. I came in as a solo about 2 in the afternoon and was plunked down down in a vacant area of the dining room. There was about 10 people eating so it was not slow. A server asked what I wanted to drink and brought my water right away. Then the service went down hill. The menu is massive and filled with many pictures, which is a good thing. But if this is your first visit it takes time to choose. She returned in 2 minutes and when I asked for a lunch menu she turned my menu to a back page and there was no lunch menu, I had looked. She went and got another menu plopped it down and stood there. I explained I would need a minute and then came back 10 minutes later. During this time two servers sat near me eating their lunch but ignored me. Finally I was able to get my order in. Wile I ate the server only came when she brought my check, never asked if everything was ok or to refill my water. Upon leaving i walked past servers at the bar and they didn't even say thanks or good bye. Now the Pho. I had the seafood pho and it was wonderful. Broh light and full of flavor. The greens were fresh and crisp, and the shrimp sweet. No complaints there the pho was super. So come for the food but expect service like you would get from a food cart in Ho Chi Mihn City food cart. At least there they smile. read more

Yum! Definitely eat here when in Woodstock. I had the Combo 1, grilled pork of sorts with rice and pork/egg custard, so good. Their bubble tea was delicious, and VERY large for an excellent price (~$4 for one the size of my head). We got takeout, and they really load the food into those containers. Husband got the orange chicken, and my parents got curry and Mongolian beef. No complaints from anyone. Definitely going again! read more

My family loves this place. We go so much, they remember our orders. Our experience here is very consistent and always positive. The servers are very friendly. I can't say that this is the best Thai food spot, but the Vietnamese food hits the spot when we get the craving! My kids love the pho tai and tom yum soup and I love the barbecue pork spring rolls with the peanut sauce. First time we decided to try thisplace was a Friday night. They were full, wait time was unknown, so we left. Came back a week or two later in the middle of the week, were able to get seated. Overall it's ok. The service was very good. Everyone was attentive and friendly. We were there at an off time at 3pm on a week day and there were only I couple other patrons. Banh Tom Co Ngu (fried sweet potato and shrimp) - It's been a while since I've ordered this but it use to be one of my favorites at the Saigon Cafe that was off Peachtree Ind. Their version was of but it had a watered down taste from what I was use to, meaning it was lacking in flavor. I probably wouldn't order it again. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't good. AD1 - Com Bo Luc Lac - Filet Mignon diced with onions and oyster sauce. This dish was good and was what I was expecting. It had a good taste and the meat was fairly tender, enough that I gave my toddler some. There's much better Vietnamese food in the metro area but if you need a quick fix this may do. read more

Been here several times, as this is the closest place to grab some Vietnamese food. The food is definitely not the best, as far as Vietnamese cuisine goes, but it hits the spot just fine when that's what you're craving, and you're too tired to cook at home or too lazy to head all the way out to Buford Highway or Pleasant Hill. Though the menus are almost identical, the portions here are smaller than the other Saigon Cafes. The service is hit-or-miss whether they get the orders right, but everyone's really nice and is always willing to fix the order if there's a mistake. If you get a rice dish and want a small bowl of [FREE] broth/soup on the side, they may not always understand what you mean. Just have them talk to the owner and it won't be a problem. Don't know why I haven't written a review for this place yet, but we stopped by after Andretti earlier this week. FYI, on Sundays, they close at 9:30PM, not 10:00PM! We called a few minutes before closing, because one of my friends just wanted a Thai tea, and they stayed open just for us to stop by for a bit. Got an extra star for that one. Parking is aplenty, as they are located amongst a strip and they have free Wi-Fi. read more
