Shrimp fried rice was more bland than it looks, crab Rangoon was Delish and rice rolls were ok
Karabo M.

I was very excited to try this place. I ordered the shrimp fried rice that was suppose to be made with shrimp paste. I also order rice rolls as my appetizer. My husband ordered the grilled honey chicken which came with a side of steamed rice and crab Rangoon for his appetizer. Overall, the food was bland. The fried rice was just steamed rice with mixed vegetables and small shrimp with a side of soy sauce. There was no egg or flavor ( not even soy sauce flavor) in the fried rice. The rice dumplings were not very flavorful. They were very gummy on the outside, but the inside filling and dipping sauce was tasty. My husband's chicken was baked chicken covered in honey. Nothing to write home about. Overall, the food left a lot to be desired. The complex flavor of Asian spices, cilantro and yumminess of Vietnamese food that packs a punch in your palate was missing. I left the restaurant not hungry, but not satisfied.

Coming up on one hour waiting for our order to be taken. Could understand if it was a busy night,…read morebut there are five other tables. Update: after an hour our order was finally taken. Waitress offered on the house drinks due to the wait. Once the order was in took about 20-30 mins for it to come out. Solid sushi and the dessert was fun. However the start of the dinner threw off the whole experience. Due to it being later in the evening this was one of the only restaurants still open, hence why we stayed.

They did not have our favorite sake, but we were able to explain it, and the waitress was able to point us in the right direction(photo) we ordered the big easy with regular tuna instead of jerk tuna(waitress recommendation) and shaggy dog. Ordered unagi eel and tuna pictures attached) for dessert. We ordered the key line wonton. They were OK probably would've just ordered the vanilla bean ice cream with caramel sauce because that really was the highlight of the dessert. The patio is nice if you want to sit outside and have a view of the yachts and the dock, we chose to sit inside because of the vibe and we had been outside all day. Service was great!!! Chelsea thank you

Vacationing in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, we had dinner tonight at Nori Asian Grill. We are staying…read moreat the Hyatt Grand Reserve and this is one of their restaurants. We expected good food at such a nice resort but this was so much more! We had the Chicken Tikki Masala and Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai. Both were so delicious, very authentic tasting, which was surprising having Indian and Asian (I know they share a continent, but are quite different in many ways culturally). Just the right amount of medium spice, and amazing flavor left us wishing we could bring it back to have the leftovers! The service was excellent and the ambiance was very nice with a cool looking bar decor as you enter. My kids also enjoyed their Lo mein dishes so much they left nothing on their plates, which is rare for them The resort is also a wonderful place to vacation, but more about that in their review. If you come to the Hyatt Grand Reserve here in Rio Grande, make a reservation at Nori - you need a reservation as it's popular. It will be a worthwhile experience for your palate ‍

This meal was no different. There were other dishes on the menu that intrigued me, but I wanted to get an appetizer-sized portion for my meal instead and went with the kakiage vegetable tempura. The tempura was definitely a different take from what I'm normally used to as a standard Japanese vegetable tempura dish, and more of a fusion as my family also felt about their tonkotsu ramen. It was a little weird with the drizzle all over the tempura. What really gives my review the 4-stars is the excellent service we received from our waiter, Anthony, who was very welcoming and personable. We got into a long conversation about his life moving to PR and how he has nicely adapted. He even shared photos of his family with us. What a great way to wrap up another fun day in PR!
