Our first time here. Food and service were outstanding. Highly recommend it. We all had different food and it was all great.

Saigon Fusion was a pleasant surprise. I agreed to meet my family halfway between where I was staying and where they live and came across this gem on Yelp of course. I wasn't expecting much but loved the variety on the menu and figured there was something on the menu for all of us and the prices were reasonable. My dad and boyfriend both got the sirloin steak and chicken hibachi that was on special for 9.99 and I got the salmon hibachi. We all enjoyed our food, and I really liked both the salad and the soup that came with the hibachi, even though I normally don't like ginger dressing or the soups you get at many similar places. The onion soup was nice and light and quite a tasty departure from the normal hot and sour or miso soup. I liked it and was really surprised by how much I liked the salad dressing as well. I'm hardly ever in this area, but it's definitely a place I would go back to. There were many options on the menu that I'd like to try, and the service was pretty great. Was staying in the area for work and decided to check it out. Wasn't sure what to expect as the front windows are covered with full-color food photos; like a fast food Chinese place in the mall. I wouldn't necessarily call the servers friendly, however they were pretty fast and efficient. I started with edamame which was nice and warm; well steamed with just enough sea salt. After that I had a summer roll. It was kind of odd in that the outside rice paper wrapper was overly sticky, and the fillings not very tightly wrapped. So it kept falling apart. For dinner I had the Saigon Noodle Soup (Pho Saigon)... it was a good size bowl with plenty in it and a side plate with basil sprouts and lime. The menu said the sliced beef was medium rare and was way more well done when it got to the table. The flank steak was very tender, with lots of flavor; but the broth seem to be lacking in that strong beefy flavor that I'm used to. Overall it was just OK. There aren't a lot of other options in the area so it would do in a pinch. read more

I've been very impressed by this place! It's good quality at excellent prices. They have a great Hibachi Special Steak, Chicken, Shrimp $14.95 can't beat it! This is my 5th time here since they opened. Great Fresh Summer Rolls and Crispy Springs Rolls. The Pho is fantastic. Have had the Grilled Pork and Pork Chop over Vermicelli and over rice. Both very tasty. Sushi is fresh and delicious as well. They also do Teppanyaki style food without the hot tables. Haven't had a bad meal. Service is excellent. Thankfully, I no longer have to go to Orlando for delicious Vietnamese food! I often grab take out on my way home from work... I've yet to dine in, and am not sure I would... sometimes the smell of (pinesol?) can be a bit strong in the entry way, but at least it's clean! Super authentic food!!! Usually Vietnamese cuisine is paired with Thai cuisine. This restaurant pairs it's Vietnamese cuisine with Japanese, which I love!!! We got Vietnamese summer rolls, sashimi, Superman sushi roll, pork noodle soup and Saigon fusion pho! ALL was delicious and pretty outta this world! Definitely recommend!! It's very reasonably priced for sushi and authentic Vietnamese food! Service was awesome as well, and the ambiance makes for a great date night, but also a great family spot too! Honestly I was pretty dissapointed with this place. Maybe my expectations were set too high based on reviews and word of mouth. I stopped in here for takeout and wanted to try their hibachi lunch combo which came with steak and chicken, all of the veggies and starches, and a soup and salad. I also ordered their pork summer rolls. The steak and chicken in the hibachi was quite dry. The veggies and starches were fine, as was the soup and salad. Their white sauce was unlike any other I've had before, it was a little sweet and just lacked the robust flavors that I'm used to from other hibachi restaurants. The pork summer rolls were awful. There was hardly any pork in them and they lacked flavor. What little pork I found was super tough and similar to a jerky texture. Overall I wasn't a huge fan. The service was quick and friendly and the price was fine so I thought 3 stars were necessary. If the protein portion of the meal wasn't so tough and overcooked I would certainly have thrown in one more star. I do plan to give it one more try so I will update accordingly. read more

This place use to be a crappy Chinese buffet but the new owners have really turned it into a great place. They have lunch specials and if you let them know your in a hurry to get to work they work quickly to get you in and out on time. They have great sushi. Always very fresh my faves are rainbow, dragon and volcano. They are one of the few places that offer Pho and it is great. Always fresh and the broth is seasoned well, full of all the extras. We get take out quite often and they are great about making sure it's prepared correctly and fixed quickly. The decor is nice and restaurant is kept very clean. The Pho (Beef Noodle Soup) was amazing. I even had leftovers to enjoy later. The crunchy roll was good. The vegetable tempura was on point. Spring rolls SO GOOD. Chicken habachi was on par the rest! What a relief!! Finally a restaurant in the Mount Dora that understands good food, good service, good prices AND cleanliness. We ordered chicken broccoli, beef pho soup, edamame and spring rolls. All the food was good and delivered in a timely and organized manner. We hate waiting for food after appetizers and finished or one person gets food and the other does not. They did it right! Bathrooms are always a good representation as to how clean the cooking area is and the bathrooms were extremely clean. Haven't tried the sushi yet but looking forward to it. read more

I was glad that I found this place at first time that I went. First time, we ordered sushi and pho. Everything was good. Service and food. So we decided to go again but it was full of disappointment. First, we ordered sushi and sashimi combo. It was good amount of food BUT they went too cheap. It was like 9pc of sashimi and 5pc of sushi. It has ONE piece of tuna and bunch of a salmon and rest of them was filled with tilapia and octopus. It is a good deal but should make more variety of fish. Sashimi cut was irregular. One piece is thick the other one is thin. It looks like beginners sashimi cut. Fish was good but the way it looks, it decreases the food quality. Sushi, was even worse. The rice contains too too much water so it was like a mochi. And they took too much pressure when they make a shape with rice. Also they didn't even seasoned it right. I couldn't taste any sweet it was just sour. Roll, was okay. But they were using too much rice on them so you can't taste the fish that much. Pho, I ordered chicken pho it came out pretty fast. That means they pre-cooked the chicken. It leads to a rubber taste chicken. And we even found a fish bone in the salmon. Well it happens but I wish the server did properly handle that situation. All he did just said 'sorry' and walked away. read more
