This is the restaurant's menu cover. Looks great!

Love the Pho here. Come hungry as it is large. I think it is one of the best places in Raleigh-Durham to get Pho. They have an extensive menu. I had Shrimp Pad Thai there today. It was very good as well. A bonus is that they are next to a nice Asian market as well as Harbor Freight Tools. Fresh veggies and spices, noodles and more for cooking Asian quinine yourself.

Authentic taste and generous portions. The noodles were cooked just right. Friendly and quick service

    Still the best pho

Best pho in the triangle and I've tried almost all o. The broth was perfect with the right amount of fat and flavor. Didn't need any additives such as hoisin or sriracha. Staff was friendly as well. They have an off menu duck noodle/pho soup that is amazing as well.

The chicken Pho was hot and delicious. The bean sprouts and herbs were super fresh. Ordered spring rolls that were full of meat and ingredients. My coworker got the seafood Pho, he said the seafood was delicious and very fresh tasting. The service was very friendly and the facilities were very clean. I will definitely be back.

No words. Spring rolls have the consistency of a sausage stuffed in a casing. Vegetables where? Not good, literally wanted to throw them away but I don't like wasting my money. And they came with a duck sauce. What happened to the traditional fish sauce?? (Looking back at the menu, they do have fish sauce but they didn't bother asking me what I'd like.) I ORDERED brisket & flank pho. What I received did not look appetizing at all. Received about 1/4 of the typical amount of noodles. Would NEVER eat here again, even if it was free.

Food is delicious and delivered quickly. Even chugging water from my love of siriacha my glass stayed full. Service was great. Interior needs a good scrub, but still a good meal. That pho tai didn't even have a chance!

I was in RaleighNC-USA purchasing an upgraded motorbike hitch rack at a Harbor Freight in an out-of-the way strip mall and inadvertently found this adjacent Vietnamese eatery. I made a mental note of it's location, including opening hours. After finishing strapping the boxed load on top of my (motor)vehicle, I motored to visit historic downtown Raleigh, then returned to the now-open restaurant. It was well-worth the return; I love Vietnamese food, especially the coffee, and the rough exterior belies the ornate/decorous/immaculate interior. Maybe I ordered too much, but it was a great excuse to remain inside the pleasantly Oriental-scented atmospher. it was great, and I highly recommend it to anybody who like tasty food/fast & reliable service/friendly atmosphere. it certainly has my coveted "iWheel of Approval!

The inside - not elegant but very clean and welcoming!!

An amazing Vietnamese restaurant and dinner last night here in Raleigh, NC, while on a business trip from San Diego. My business partner is fighting a cold and has been coughing and sneezing and I felt he should have some soup for dinner and using YELP, found this AMAZING (Level 5 amazing) Vietnamese restaurant, Saigon Pho. It is located in a non-descrip, Asian strip mall, perhaps not notable at all, BUT, . . . . . . the food is probably some of the best Vietnamese pho I have ever had - and I have spent considerable time in Asia and Vietnam. The quality of the broth and the quality of the meats were exceptional and memorable. And their Jasmine tea, a blend of a tea bag and loose leaves was really wonderful! I will be back here!!

Are there vegan or vegetarian pho?

Not really....maybe white rice and the spring rolls or veggie rolls. Thier broths are made with beef and bone marrow

The also has all the side condiments you would want to go with your pho which is hard to find around here. The service was also amazing, they sat us down quickly, took our orders almost right away, and the food came out in about 10-15 minutes. The restaurant itself was well decorated, bright, and clean. It photographs beautifully. Unfortunately, restaurants aren't judged on lighting. We ordered everything upfront: Banh Xeo (explicitly no shrimp due to a shellfish allergy), Cha Gio, Pho Tai, and the Chef Special. Somehow, not everything was entered correctly. The Banh Xeo arrived covered in shrimp. Allergy clearly stated. It was sent back immediately. We were told they could remake it, but it would "take a while because it takes a long time to make." Banh Xeo takes under 10 minutes in a properly run kitchen. We declined and assumed the rest of our meal would arrive promptly. It didn't. The egg rolls weren't just fried, they were fully baptized in oil. One bite and it felt like chewing on a sponge that lost a fight with the fryer. Then we watched tables seated at least 15 minutes after us receive their food before we did. When we asked about the remainder of our order, we were told it had "just been added" and would take a while. Pho taking 35+ minutes in a Vietnamese restaurant isn't high volume. It's disorganization. The Chef Special was decent. The pho, which should be the backbone of the menu, was underwhelming. Several tables around us had incorrect orders or long delays. The owner circulated, but instead of urgency or accountability, the energy felt inconvenienced. Here's the reality: great atmosphere can draw people in once. Food and leadership bring them back. If you're going because it looks trendy and buzzing, go in with eyes open. The aesthetic might be the star of the room, but the food should be.

I like Vietnamese food, but the options are limited where I live- and the options for vegetarians are even MORE limited at most Vietnamese spots. This spot is different- they have a whole page of vegan options on the back of the menu. My vegan pho with tofu was wonderful, and I loved the kick from the chili oil. I also liked adding the pho toppings, and they brought us extra bean sprouts since my husband and I both love them. I didn't have anything to drink, but all of the drinks were super reasonably priced. My husband had a beer. The bar has everything you could want to drink as well as mocktails. The portions are large, and when we got to-go containers, the employees even brought us plastic bags to pack each container in, so nothing leaked on our walk home. That was a nice touch and well appreciated. My husband got a bahn mi for later, and it was also packaged well for a to-go item. We were seated right away, the server was super fun and friendly. There are for sure regulars that come here. The server knew a lot of people by name, for pick up orders and sitting inside. The Pho is for sure the best thing on the menu. If I would have only had the Pho it would have been a five star experience. I however had the combination and bbq chicken Banh mi Sandwiches and the shrimp spring rolls. The spring roll was crispy on the outside but still frozen on the inside. They remade it and the outside tasted like burnt oil and the inside was still cold. The Banh mi Sandwiches were full of super fresh veggies, I loved that! The downside is the combination one had no Mayo so I had to ask for some. The other downside was that the bbq chicken one had no sauce at all and very little chicken. Again, the veggies were really crunchy and fresh which I loved. Overall I would for sure go back for the Pho, it was delicious. One of the best broths I've had at a Pho spot.

The service was friendly. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the store. It's a small space, so there isn't to much to it. They were cleaning (rather sweeping the floor) and stopped to greet me and take my order. Everyone had on masks that I could see in front. In the back, I did see after ordering a few without their masks on (if that's something you need to take in consideration, then take as needed). They woman that took my order, washed her hands and gave me a menu. She wanted to know if there was anything in particular I was looking for and if I would be dinning in or take out (if you do take-out, they ask that you make your order and then return to your car to await for the food). I explained I just wanted something to go and from there I looked over the menu. When I asked about how some of the items were prepared, she quickly explained and never gave any attitude or anything about my many questions. From my questions, she gathered that I wanted something along the lines of vegetarian and suggested about four different dishes that I might like. Since I wasn't tooooo hungry, I went with the Nem Chay Cuốn Bbq Vegi Spring Rolls (2): Soft rice paper wrapped around bbq Vegi, & lettuce, served with house special sauce. Total: $5.41 What a treat! These were so fresh and tasty! Great mixture of herbs, noodles, and tofu. Nothing was too overwhelming - all just right! The dipping sauce!!?! I could drink it (well, maybe just use it on MORE rolls!). From what I gathered from my visit, it was a good spot for something simple. I do have friend that comes here every time they come to town to order their shrimp fried rice - they state it is amazing. So, there are two dishes that I can tell you about - the rolls from my personal experience and the fried rice that my friend raves about without any shame!

I was actually a little nervous going in because certain Chinese dishes tend to upset my stomach, so I tried to avoid some of the heavier noodle and chicken dishes that normally do that to me. I started with the crab rangoons, which were perfectly creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside -- absolutely delicious. Then I tried the pork-filled bao buns, which was my first time ever having them, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed them too. Everyone else at our table seemed to really enjoy their food as well. I genuinely didn't hear a single complaint. We also ordered some drinks that were delicious, and both our server and the rest of the staff were absolutely fantastic and very welcoming throughout the night. The atmosphere and vibes inside are honestly one of the coolest parts of the experience. It somehow feels like a mix between a brewery, a florist, a bookstore, and a Chinese restaurant all at once.
