If I could give a place 0 stars I would. This might even deserve a -2 stars. They are NOT COVID aware to say the least. None of the staff in the back are wearing face masks, and the lady up front only puts one on to have the customer pay. Really really troubling, I actually want to know if anyone has gotten COVID from here as the past 3 reviews have said the same thing about this restaurant and clearly nothing has changed. Not only are they not following basic COVID guidelines, the food is not worth your time or money. Things are overpriced, my rice was over cooked and my grilled pork was questionable. I ordered a strawberry boba tea and the boba tasted a week old and the strawberry taste was horribly artificial. Total for the 2 items was $17??? Came here right when they opened on a Sunday. We ordered the Pho and it made us sick! The pho broth had a sour taste to it so we knew that they were leftovers that were not stored in the refrigerator! Would not recommend this place! This is at tough one. I have been eating here very regularly. Sometimes once a week for the past year. I get the same thing every time, P1. (chicken pho). Well unfortunately they put up a new sign that says (minimum $10.00 on card) we'll, they gave me a hard time about it today and shamed me for not having cash. My order was $8.65 plus I left a $2.00 tip. With that said bring cash if you are dining alone. I personally will never set foot in the restaurant again. Food was amazing until I went to pay and saw one of the employees on the ground, picking at her TOES with a TOOTHPICK!!!!!! So gross. We asked the girl checking out if she was okay and they literally did nothing! Toothpick girl then proceeded to put her sock back on, touch the counter, and run to the back without washing her hands. I wanted to try some places new today, looked it up and saw this place have 4 and half stars, so decided to try. After I had their Pho there, I really don't understand why people gave them 4 or 5 stars. I wanted to order Flank and meat balls Pho, the lady told me just order the combination. The soup was very salty, the flank was no good, and the Hoisin sauce tasted so weird, it seems like they got those very cheap sauce and fill up in the original bottle. Comparing with the one I always go, their price is more expensive. Can you believe they charge a kid egg noodles soup without meats for $5.99??? For $5.99, I can go anywhere and get her a good kid's meal. Sorry, I'm not going to go back for the second time. read more

I have eaten here a few times and the service has always been terrible, today was no different. That being said the egg rolls were okay but the Pho had no flavor. The worst thing was when I got to the bottom of the bowl I saw tiny black granules, it was not pepper. It appeared to be dirt. It is also important to note they are not practicing social distancing. The family came back to visit since it was good last time and we were extremely disappointed. The vermicelli bowl was good, the pork looked a little questionable, not how it usually looks but it tasted fine. We waited on the pad Thai that was ordered without peanuts for an additional 10 minutes after everything else was brought out for it to be made with peanuts on accident. They fixed it quickly, but when it came out it did not taste right, all at the table agreed. The Udon noodle stir fry lacked flavor and the noodles were over fried to the point where they were actually crunchy. They must have a new cook in the kitchen because nothing taste like it used to back when it was good. For the icing on the cake, the lady serving us was busy sweeping and mopping with strong floor cleaner throughout our meal so she was not available for questions or refills. read more

Decided to try this place after reading some of the other Yelp reviews, and I'm so glad we did! The service was great, and the food was delicious. We started off with the steamed dumplings and then I had the Japanese Udon Soup with chicken and my husband had the Wonton Soup. We shared a few macaroons with cappuccinos to end the meal. I'm Vietnamese and the pho felt like it was the pho my mom and grandma would make for me. It's ran by a sweet Vietnamese woman and her husband is the chef. I love little local businesses like this. I REALLY recommend this restaurant. It's another tiny amazing place, waiting to be discovered. WE LOVED IT SO MUCH WE CAME 2 NIGHTS IN A ROW FOR DINNER! Brought my Vietnamese mom the 2nd night and she thought it was delicious. We got to know the owners better and they were so genuine and awesome to us. I recommend you get the LARGE pho bowl. It's HUGE!! Biggest bowl I've ever seen and I've eaten A LOT of pho. It's definitely enough for two people to eat. And it's BYOB!!! Stopped in to try out the local Pho and spring rolls. I was not impressed with at all with the peanut sauce that came with the spring rolls, cold and uncooked. The Pho stock seemed ok but the beef was cut oddly and had no flavor. I will not recommend or come back. Sadly after posting my review - the owner challenged me to show my face! This is hands down one of my favorite pho places. The portion size is good for the price and it always tastes delicious. I've been coming here for several years now and will probably continue to do so. The woman who I think owns the restaurant is so nice. I lived in Hawaii for many years and moved to Las Vegas 2 years ago and just recently moved here to Texas. The whole time I was in Vegas I never ate Pho. One of the reasons was that I never found any place that looked good or got great reviews. The most important reason was that they use tap water for the broth. My stomach is very sensitive and there are very few states that I can drink tap water from. With the rain that came today I was really craving pho. I searched on Yelp, read the reviews and looked at the pictures and decided to try this place out. When you first walk in, it's a small place but cozy. I knew what I wanted right away and decided to order the large since it was a dollar more than the small. The bowl was huge when it came out. The first thing I noticed was all the cilantro in it . I'm not a fan of cilantro and was a little disappointed when I saw how much was in my bowl. I've never had it in soup in Hawaii but decided to still keep an open mind about it. I sat there and picked most of them out and starting eating. OMG!!!! Taste just like the pho I got back in Hawaii. I was in heaven!!! The waitress came by and apologized for all the cilantro and said sorry I didn't know you didn't like cilantro. I said no problem it's my fault I didn't know it was in there. Next time I will definetly ask for no cilantro. The broth was tasty. Meat was thinly sliced and cooked fast. Everything was perfect. For what few Hawaii peeps are here in Texas, this is the place to go get some delicious pho. I can't wait to try the other items. read more

A shockingly delicious, satisfying, fresh dining experience in Tomball and perhaps one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in all of Harris county. Fresh, perfectly prepared meal of quality. The chicken wings are outstanding and put BW3s or any other wing restaurant to shame. We have ordered the chicken and broccoli, pho, spring rolls, Vietnamese rolls, spicy lemon grass tofu, and of course the chicken wings which are crunchy, perfectly cooked, tender on the inside with a choice of sauces and spicy-ness level. Drove in to Tomball from over an hour away to try this place out, and let me just say...WELL WORTH THE TRIP. A friend of mine heard me mention in passing of my obsession with Pho and my disappointment with there seemingly being no proper options in the College Station area. They suggested this lovely little gem situated over an hour away. I'm blown away by the prompt service (the waiter and staff were exceptionally sweet) and incredible food. At the behest of other Yelpers, I decided to try out the pork spring rolls first. They were right: the pork was outstanding and tastefully charred, exactly how I love them! But what I was there for was the Pho, my goodness THE PHO. I have scoured much of the Houston area more than I'm proud to admit to find a bowl that met my standards (I come from san antonio you see. With all the military bases there, there's TONS of international options I've been spoiled by). Their broth was exactly what I've been searching for. Flavorful, but not greasy. Delicate and aromatic, without coming out bland. And THE TENDON SLICES. I had a pho bowl with the tendon since even some my favorite pho places have either removed this less popular item to save space in the kitchen or offer so little of it in the bowl that it may as well not be there. Not this place though! Along with the regular thinly sliced meats came tons of soft and chewy tendon slices--if I hadn't already been won over, this definitely did it :) Finally as a personal treat for my drive home I got a taro bubble slushie. It was HUGE. Well over 16oz and filled well into the dome lid it comes with. Always a nice surprise. Overall wonderful prices, wonderful food, and wonderful staff. My only regret is that they aren't in the College Station area or they'd have me at least twice a week! I had never had Pho before and after trying other places, this one is my absolute favorite.

Coming from Los Angeles, I've found that Tomball is generally lacking when it comes to good foreign food. Saigon Pho is a refreshing "taste of home" for my wife and I. Restaurant is clean and simple. The Pho is amazing. And, unlike some Pho places, Saigon actually gives you a good portion of noodles! At the other places I feel that sometimes the only difference between "small" and "large" is broth. Not here! Lots more noodles and beef! Good all around! They also have an impressive pastry case with macaroons and stuff. They all look amazing! Haven't tried them yet though. read more

So very disappointed in the rice plate. I've been coming here for over a year and tonight, the grilled pork fried rice wasn't right. It's VERY SPICY and had cilantro on top of it, which in the past it hasn't been cooked this way. On top of that, I paid $14.99 for half a container of the rice. read more

I love phô and love the whole experience of going to a Vietnamese restaurant. Saigon Phô only made me love the whole experience even more! I walked in the restaurant and expected the typical run down. But I was surprised; the employees were all so friendly and helpful and actually carried great conversation with me. The owner walks around and interacts with the customers, and she taught me a lot about the food actually. I'm not a big sweets person, but I was tempted to try a boba drink because of their extensive menu. I got a taro smoothie with boba and it was amazing! The macaroons and other deserts all looked beautiful also. Everything about the experience was great: the food came out quickly, it was delicious, the service was amazing and the atmosphere was very warm and comfortable. I will definitely be back! I really needed some pho to clear my sinuses. We went here for lunch. It is located in a shopping center, as you enter they have a small french fence and cute decor. We were promptly greeted and seated. The owners son waited on us. He is friendly and helpful with menu choices. His mother/owner came over a couple times to talk to us since it was our first visit. She is really sweet. We decided to start with crab ragoons, Vietnamese eggrolls, and fried dumplings. The crab ragoons are filled with meat, the most I've ever gotten. The Vietnamese egg rolls - tasty fried goodness served with lettuce, shredded carrots, and fish oil. Fried dumplings - yummy dipping sauce and pan fried perfectly. My husband had the combo pad thai - great portion size and the flavors are so good. He got a heat level 1, since he is a gringo. All the meats were cooked right, tender, and good flavor. I like the crunchy peanuts on top. I ordered the large chicken Pho, p1. Large? What was I thinking, this is massive. A small village could share this. I gave my best attempt. It comes with fresh basil, jalapeños, and bean sprouts to add. On the table are several sauces - siracha, hoisin, soy sauce, pepper sauce, and another in a jar I'm not sure of. The broth is delicious! absolutely the best pho I've had. I could drink the broth all on its own and been happy. The chicken is sliced super thin and the noodles are perfect. The service is excellent! They have a whole bakery area for macaroons and other pastries, so save room for a few they look heavenly. We are excited to return. read more

Stopped by today before work to eat some Pho and spring rolls. I wasn't too happy about the spring rolls because other pho places I have eaten at they are filled and they add more. These spring rolls wernt as filled and very hollow to me didn't really have any flavor to me. I also ordered the tofu pho and I enjoyed it a lot! They added many tofu food pieces and the flavor was good, I also added some Hosin sauce and some sriracha and It tasted even better to me. Now as far as the service it was ehh could've been better.. the lady that was serving me did not once come over to check on me to see if I needed anything. I had to wave her down pleanty of times to ask for many things because she was not paying any attention to me which isn't quality customer service at all. Would I come back? OK - went here because of all the great reviews and because we saw it was one of the "top 5 restaurants in Tomball". I think maybe my expectations were too high because of all the good hype -- but the food was just OK. The good: -- The Pho was good - and I appreciated all of the fresh ingredients for sure. Definitely worth ordering. -- The spring rolls were excellent. Very fresh and flavorful -- and peanut dipping sauce was great. -- The service is very friendly and welcoming. -- Tofu is pan friend and really good if you are looking for meat alternative The not so good: -- The pad thai was too greasy -- maybe just got too much oil in my batch, but wasn't great. -- Also had lo mein - again too greasy for my tastes -- Other than the spring rolls - everything was "heavier" than I would have liked/or that I'd normally see in Vietnamese cooking. I'm not sure it's worth a "top 5" designation - even if it is in Tomball. Worth checking out, but I don't think it's going to be in a regular visit for us. read more

So much more than Pho, you could eat something different each time you come. The small soups are very large (5 - 6 cups), more than I can eat at one time. The spring rolls are very tasty, whole shrimp and lots of crunchy veggies. I have been totally surprised by Saigon Pho. When I moved from Austin I expected to say goodbye to delicious Vietnamese cooking, but this place has saved me from such heartache. In fact, this is better pho than any that Austin can offer. It's off 249 in Tomball but it is worth the drive from Houston to have a delicious meal and freshly baked macarons for desert! The owners are very friendly as well. P.S. Favorite dish is Lemongrass stir-fry with noodles. And they let you bring your wine if you fancy. read more

I can not believe I have not wrote a review for this place. This place is nothing short of AMAZING. I can eat pho everyday whether hot or cold when I think about Saigon Pho. I finally gave their Macarons a shot and OMG they are delicious. They are a little over priced to my liking because they are extremely small but they were definitely delicious. The portion is good, pho is decent for this area. That's about it. The service is pretty horrible and the price is high compare to other places. We asked for hot water because my moms throat did t feel well. We were told there's no hot water, only hot tea. Needless to say they just want you to spend more money to buy tea. This is my kids' favorite place now... we go almost every Friday to spend time together. Our waiter is always the same - Shoutout to Justin - and he knows our faves by heart. His recs are great, and we're slowly working our way through the menu. Everything I've eaten I've loved. Pork anything here is a winner and their pad thai and pho are great. I love the egg rolls.
