Instead of serving slices, we had to scoop it onto everyone's plate with a spoon. It was incredibly disappointing, especially for such a special milestone birthday. Then this morning, I stopped in for a sausage roll, and it was just as disappointing. It was overcooked, and the bottom of the bun was so hard it was inedible. He hires women and subtly preys upon them, hoping they'll show him some "appreciation," while he yells and throw objects like a toddler. He does not provide a safe or enjoyable work environment, and has no care for the quality of product his company provides. The practices are disgusting and I would never eat the bread from this place. He gives empty promises, scorns his employees while they carry the bakery on their shoulders, fires people at the drop of a hat, and has absolutely no care for their wellbeing. Rick is unfit to be running a company. I've heard it was a nice place before he gained ownership, just sad how much one person can ruin a good thing.
