    Crawfish étouffée (special)
    Binh L.

I don't know how this place isn't packed to the brim. I opted for the mushroom and kale étouffée and I can't tell you how impressively flavorful it is even though it's vegan. You can't even tell it wasn't made with some savory meat broth. The crawfish étouffée is also so full of crawfish and the right amount of spice (remember to fish out that bay leaf). The chicken and sausage gumbo was also so well seasoned without being too salty which I think is the artful line between a good and incredible gumbo. The bread to dip is also fluffy and lightly toasted with butter. I'd rank the étouffées over the gumbo if I had to pick. Now I'm going to wish I lived closer to Knoxville to eat this all the time. Perhaps it's for the best for my wallet.

Step into a taste of Louisiana at Saint Lucille's while sipping on a French 75 or Hurricane. My favorite dishes on the menu are the Mushroom & Kale Etoufee and BBQ shrimp appetizer, but you really can't go wrong. Don't miss out on any of the jambalaya specials, pasta specials, and brunch. This is a hidden gem in Knoxville. Fantastic service.

Cajun pasta with shrimp and gator sausage

We will definitely be back to Saint Lucille's! I've craving the barbecue shrimp since we left. The muffeleta was so good and the perfect amount of salty. Cajun pasta was good and spiced without being overly spicy. Not pictured but we also had a small side of red beans and rice. It had sausage and was well seasoned. A beautiful place with amazing food and a great vibe.

A complete gem of a culinary experience. We happened upon this Cajun influenced eatery at Emory Place and enjoyed every delicious bite of the savory dishes we ordered. We ordered the Crawfish dip,, mufalletta, and red beans and rice. Delicious! The service was wonderful and atmosphere made you feel like you were eating on Bourbon Street. This is a must for your Knoxville dining list!

Everyone needs to try Saint Lucille's! We loved it. Here's the Muffuletta w/ red beans and rice. Out of sight! Great atmosphere and friendly service.

I'm from New Orleans and when I say that I mean my parents still have the oldest Mardi Gras mask shop in the French Quarter since 1984. My dear friend plays jazz music at Preservation Hall and I own a furniture store where I furnished Fat's Dominos entire house after Hurricane Katrina. My friend's family owns Perrone & Sons which partnered with Progress Grocery over 100 years ago to create the first Muffaletta sandwich in New Orleans. They produce and sell two million mini Muffaletta sandwiches a year! I was very hesitant to eat here but LOVED the food! The rest beans and rice was delicious! One of the best I ever had. The Muffaletta had a delicious crispy bun and the BBQ shrimp was yummy!! I would love to see them serving Beignets as deserts in the future. Great job and hope to be back again

This is essentially a nice bar with a good number of tables. You order at the bar and then they bring you your food to your table. Food was really good, I had shrimp and grits and my husband had the muffuletta sandwich with Cajun slaw. Some of the best of each we've had in Knoxville. Definitely recommend this place and would like to try some of the other things on their menu

    Hot beef po boy

This sandwich definitely reminded me of back home in Louisiana, I shall be back soon.

    Chicken gumbo. Darn tasty

Darn tasty place. The food was perfectly cooked and had a nice spicy taste. We ate at the bar. They have some beer from their neighbors Crafty Bastard Brewery on draft

Had lunch at Tupelo Honey and the shrimp and grits were a 10/10! The grits were incredibly creamy,…read morecheesy, and full of flavor, and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. Every bite was comforting and delicious. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere--clean, inviting, and a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. The prices are a little on the higher side, but the quality of the food and overall experience make it worth it for a special lunch or dinner. If you're visiting, I highly recommend the shrimp and grits. Definitely one of the best dishes I've had in a while!

We came on a very busy Saturday night (weekend of Dogwood Festival, theatre night, and prom…read morenight). Thankful to have a reservation, we were promptly seated while others with no reservation were being told three hour wait times. I loved the vibe of Tupelo, the hanging lush green plants on the side of the bustling kitchen, the cheerful staff and the lively music. Lizette was our server and she was just a darling. It was our first time here, and she was so helpful with her all of her recommendations. One of Lizette's favorites was the "Peach, don't kill my vibe" sangria. Which I just loved. I nice mix of peach and pineapple in a sangria. For our mains, we had the grilled harvest chicken and the chicken tenders. Both mains came with two sides. With my grilled harvest chicken, I got the mashed potatoes and the braised bacon green beans. The green beans were to die for, even my hubby was saying he should've ordered that as his side. The harvest chicken I loved--especially the sautéed spinach, red peppers and tomatoes on top. But if you can't handle spicy, this dish does have some heat to it. And we ended my birthday celebration with the heavenly banana pudding. It was heavenly in every way. Made in house, and so delicious that even my hubby ate it and he never cares for this dessert. If I could've licked that little bowl, I would've. We already cannot wait to come back and try some of the brunch items on their menu. We loved everything about Tupelo and hats off to Lizette for making our night even more special!!
