Every bite tasted fresh and high quality. The grilled chicken was another standout--perfectly smoky, juicy, and packed with flavor. The beef had a great texture with just the right amount of chew, although it was a touch saltier than my personal preference, less sauce will be much better. Still, it was delicious overall. The service was excellent from start to finish. Multiple team members checked in to make sure everything was to our liking and kept our water glasses full, which made the dining experience feel attentive without being intrusive. I also fell in love with the ambiance. The restaurant has a warm, cozy atmosphere with beautiful, thoughtfully designed décor that creates a relaxing dining experience. This was one of the most disgusting and humiliating restaurant experiences I have ever had. My friend and I were charged an $8 leftover fee because the seaweed in several hand rolls was so tough that it was difficult to chew. We ate the fillings and rice but left some of the seaweed. When we explained this, the server(name Saaid) told us that if we took the discarded food back and ate it, the charge would be removed. The situation became even worse when a male manager without badge (don't know name maybe Sean) came to our table. Instead of professionally addressing the issue, he put his bare hand into a plate containing discarded food and table waste, moved the food around, and repeatedly questioned why we couldn't eat it. We were essentially told that if we ate food that had already been thrown away, we would not be charged the leftover fee. Let that sink in. A manager was handling food waste with his bare hands while pressuring customers to eat discarded food. The issue was never about the $8. It was about being treated with disrespect and being placed in an unsanitary and humiliating situation. We felt singled out because other nearby tables appeared to have leftovers, yet we did not observe staff inspecting or charging those tables. The situation became so unreasonable that we called 911. After speaking with us, the responding officer advised us to pay the bill and pursue complaints through Yelp, Google reviews, and the appropriate food safety and consumer complaint channels afterward. After paying, we asked for the names of the employees involved. Staff refused to provide the manager's name and became hostile. I have visited this restaurant several times before, but after this experience I will never return. Customers deserve better treatment than being pressured to eat food from a garbage plate. read more

The restaurant is spacious with many tables and booths good for a group a two or more. They share parking with other businesses in the plaza and can get packed. Sometimes, you'll have to park behind the restaurant. You can join their waitlist via Yelp. Average wait time is about 20 mins from our experience. They have Lunch (open-3pm), Dinner (3pm-close), Fri-Sun & holidays, Kids, and Premium AYCE options. What I appreciate about their sushi menu is that each order comes with one piece to avoid wasting food. Our favorite items to order are everything from the premium menu, Smoked Salmon, Ikura, Cajun Yellowtail, Cajun Salmon, Salmon Skin Salad, Rolly Polly, and Salmon Skin Skewer. If I had to pick just one from this list, it would be the Cajun Salmon. I cannot have enough of it. It's so fresh, silky, and has that perfect hint of smokiness. Their fish to rice ratio is less rice, more fish. The staff are all attentive and friendly. If it's your first time, they'll explain the menu and how to order. You also have a 90 min time limit. Service was very quick and the waitress was very helpful with explaining the menu. Once you turned in your paper with your order the food started flowing like water. Everything that came out tasted so fresh! The miso soup was piping hot a tasty. I LOVED the cucumber salad. But my absolute favorite was the green muscles. I could have gone and just eaten 4 or 5 orders of those. It reminded me of "oysters Rockefeller" with an Asian flavor profile. I would avoid the shrimp skewers, they're extremely dry. The gyoza and karrage also left alot to be desired. Make sure to leave room for dessert. They offer frozen desserts as well as a Dubai chocolate cookie. The Dubai cookie dessert was interesting. It was my first experience with the flavor combination. I found it enjoyable, but it was definitely more of a mochi than a cookie. All-you-can-eat is $35.95 and the value is excellent. They even had a limited Dubai chocolate cookie, and the wine pours were generous. The menu is huge with over 50 sushi rolls, and you order by marking items on a paper for each round, which makes everything simple and smooth. Standouts for me: the carpaccio was super flavorful and fresh. Green mussels were juicy, thick, and perfectly cooked. The salmon boat was done just right. Miso soup was warm, comforting, and hearty. The cucumber salad with chili oil was spicy, refreshing, and my favorite bite of the night. The rainbow roll and Hawaii roll were both fresh and well balanced. The scallop and shrimp skewer was tender and satisfying. Fried chicken was decent with a great crisp. The salmon skin salad was incredible--super crispy, not soggy at all, and honestly to die for. This place has plenty of parking, so no need to worry about having to circle. Sake 2 Me is located on a inner corner of the shopping center, so it's easy to spot, it's well lit, and has some cute decorations inside. We were seated right away, and we did the AYCE, so we ordered a little bit of everything we liked, and tried a few things! My favorite was that Tempura Nigiri, like how did they make something that amazing?! It basically melted in your mouth as well as having that amazing crunch from the tempura. I need it again. Also, yellowtail collar, only one order per table, but boy it was worth it. Nigiri was that perfect fish to rice ratio, and it was all super fresh to taste. We had a few hours to pass -- drove around on a Friday night and so many places were packed. We decided to give this place a try. Thankfully it was busy but still had space for us to enjoy some delicious sushi. Prior to getting a table you are asked to put yourself on the waitlist, regardless if they have a big or short crowd. You are also asked to wait outside, they have a few seats in front of the door. Once they are ready for you the staff will come out and get you seated. As we got to our seats they were ready to get our drink order. Then they gave us time to look over the menu. All of the waiters are there to help you they don't seem to have just one which was nice because you seem to be always attended too. They are very friendly, efficient and on top of all that the sushi was so fresh! They also serve you a huge portion so choose wisely if you want AYCE or Al'acart. So happy we have a sake2me closer to us now. We were pleasantly surprised with their tempuras and their skewers. Was so excited for the first round of food, we didn't get a chance to take pics of it. These are from our 2nd round. The place is nice and clean, doesn't feel crowded and their servers are nice. Delicious food awaits you when you come here. Some favorites of ours are the sushis (otoro, salmon belly, salmon), the seared Cajun salmon, the unagi tempura and unagi sushi. Ended the meal with hot and tasty miso soup. They had $3 deal for beer as well. I wasn't a fan of the intestine skewer because it was the small intestine and I only really like the large intestines. Salmon collar was delicious but huge. Rolls look delicious but so many pieces and we were afraid we wouldn't like it and they make sure to let you know that they can charge you $2 per sushi left over. Unfortunately we didn't know that the carpaccios were only for dinner so we didn't get to try them. Next time. Definitely recommend this place and definitely coming back for more. We had dinner here last week. There is ample parking available. The restaurant is a good size and good lighting inside. We went with their ayce menu. There are so many options and got a little bit of everything. Mussels, shrimp tempura and skewers were up first. So nice to see skewers on the menu. We also got some unagi tempura and cannot stress enough to get this. The unagi is buttery and fatty and combined with a light tempura batter makes it a match made in heaven. We also got a yellowtail collar you can pnly get one so we figured it would be the best option and it was. It was so fatty and melted in the mouth. The fish itself was so moist and one of the better yellowtail collars I have ever had. The nigiri was fresh and had a great rice to sashimi ratio. The handrolls were large and delicious. We also got a large Sapporo. Monday through Thursday a large Sapporo is only $3. You can't go wrong with that. Awesome service and wonderful food will make this your favorite ayce sushi place. This has become our go-to spot because of its convenient location. The food is good, and we generally enjoy coming here. However, one issue that continues to stand out is the lack of consistency. It seems that every time we visit, there are new rules and higher prices. What started as being able to order anything on the menu has changed to certain items being unavailable, along with limits on what can be ordered during the first round. During our most recent visit, we encountered a new 90-minute dining limit that is tracked on a tablet. Unfortunately, the timer starts as soon as you begin using the screen, not when you place your first order. Our group spent about 15 minutes reviewing the menu and deciding what we wanted, which significantly reduced our dining time before we had even ordered. It would make much more sense for the timer to begin after the first order is submitted. The tablet system also made it difficult to keep track of our orders. Unlike the previous paper system, we couldn't easily see what had already arrived and what was still pending. As a result, our party felt rushed and uncertain about whether to order additional items. We also noticed that items were missing from every round of orders, so customers should carefully track what they receive.Overall, the food is good, but the constantly changing policies and lack of consistency can be frustrating for returning customers. I genuinely liked everything I ordered but if I had to pick my favorites that I would re-order, it would be the rolly polly and romeo. Each person can order a round of carpaccio and premium sushi so I'd recommend taking advantage of that. We ordered a lot of nigiri, and every single one came with a small amount of rice, which was very much appreciated. The rolls are where they get you with the amount of rice, though, so be careful. The service was good since they came by often to ask if we wanted to order our next round. They also cleared our plates pretty often probably because they had time to care for each booth since it wasn't too busy for a Tuesday night, so that was nice. read more

Came here for Father's Day today (our first time). One ordering tablet for 6 people. Had to ask for the menu, only gave us two menus. Limit 10 apps total for 6 people (and mind you this includes miso soup), very difficult to order, slow service yet limited time. Tried to order more sushi, etc, again the tablet won't let us order up to a certain point. And it's called AYCE. $42 pp. Too bad, we loved the Cerritos location. Also the staff were unable to explain the complicated process of ordering. They kept on saying let me ask the manager. We felt so limited and clueless. I would say overall I quite like this place and wouldn't mind coming again. The service wasn't too bad but at times slow when there are a lot of people. The sushi was overall fresh and I liked the fact I could get toro and fish belly nigiri as part of the ayce. The food wasn't completely amazing though as I would not recommend the edamame (too over boiled) or the chicken-based skewers. The fact they had skewers was nice, but they were mediocre overall. In general, the skewers were quite underseasoned, but the scallops were great. I also super appreciate that this sake 2 me had unlimited ikura as some places do this as a premium item now. Also their seaweed isn't overly old. It still had a crisp to it, and I appreciate them giving me just the seaweed sheet by itself whereas the other location was more hesitant in doing so. In terms of ambiance, it's small but cozy.
