One of the best creamy sea urchin udon pastas I've ever had. So creamy & delicious. I was a little sad that the portion was small because I probably could've ate 2 whole plates. So good. Even my toddler was obsessed! This restaurant is beautiful. The inside really stood out to me, the menus are beautiful as well. I also ordered the chicken gyoza, very crisp. Wish it came with some sort of sauce to enhance the flavors. The Takoyaki was really good! & the tornado curry omurice was very tasty! The curry was really good and flavorful.

The rainbow roll and baked salmon were absolutely perfect -- so fresh and full of flavor! Service was amazing, and the restaurant itself is super clean. My friend and I went around 5:30 PM and it wasn't busy at all, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is so cute and really gives off a "little slice of Japan" vibe. Highly recommend! The Takoyaki was flavorful too!

Bengee Sushi does sushi, sashimi, and Japanese-style pastas, and the price-for-quality ratio is one of the best I've seen in SoCal. Had to get my typical order of a black dragon roll plus truffle salmon carpaccio, creamy uni udon, and the curry tornado omurice. Everything's priced SO well, and their deluxe 9-grid sashimi set is a *must-get*. You get 23 thicc pieces of fish for 68 bucks. The quality honestly matches that of an omakase. Now the uni udon is incredible, so creamy so delicious, and they also have a yakiudon version. It's more of a chill vibe here but the quality surprisingly surpasses a lot of other sushi spots out there. Thanks for reading! ^-^

Chino's hidden gem! Everyone go try Bengee Sushi! We were in Chino over the weekend for some board games and randomly searched for a lunch spot nearby. Ended up at Bengee Sushi and... wow. Completely exceeded expectations. I honestly didn't know Chino had such solid Japanese food We both ordered their Lunch Specials -- around $25 each, which is such a great deal. Since I'm not a big tempura person, we skipped the bento boxes and went straight for the good stuff. We got one Chirashi Bowl, and the moment it came out we were shocked. So much sashimi! Thick cuts, super fresh, and none of that fishy leftover-trim vibe. The sushi rice underneath was really good too -- not overly sweet or sour, just balanced. The other dish we ordered was the Sashimi Lunch, and again, super generous portion with way more variety than I expected. No shortcuts, no skimping. It also comes with miso soup and salad, both clean and tasty. We added hot tea, which hit the spot on a colder day. That feeling of "randomly picking a place and accidentally finding a great spot" is honestly unmatched They also offer a $79 omakase, plus a more premium $135 one (reservation required). After seeing how generous they are with their lunch portions, I'm definitely coming back for that next time. In short: amazing value. If you love sashimi and find yourself in Chino, this place is absolutely worth the visit.

8pc spicy salmon roll (4 on the side were my leftovers)

Honestly this place was one of my favorites when they first opened, but ever since they changed management, their service went down. There's this one female server (I think she's the only one) that has pretty bad attitude. I ordered 2 spicy salmon rolls (1 for here and 1 to-go) thinking it would just be a normal spicy salmon roll, but for some reason it came with tempura flakes crunched up inside. I don't like fried things so I was automatically taken aback at this new change. I immediately thought of the spicy salmon roll I ordered to-go and called the server over to modify it with no tempura flakes. She looked awkwardly over her shoulder at the sushi chef and said something in Chinese and told me "Oh it's already done." She had this judgemental weird look on her face and walked away. I felt like it would've been nice to at least try to accommodate my preferences. There was just no concern about my question and I felt disregarded. It made my whole experience here very disappointing and I lost my appetite. A few minutes later she brought my to-go order to me and I checked inside- there were 8pc total. I thought about it and decided that I wasn't going to make a big deal out of the whole tempura flake thing. I called the server over again to order another spicy salmon roll WITHOUT tempura flakes to-go. The server took my order and gave it to me shortly after. I checked the bag and saw 6pc of what looked like a soggy roll. I waited a bit before calling for the server again and asked her why this roll has 6pc and the previous roll has 8pc. She said something about it being 6pc since there are no tempura flakes and went to ask the sushi chef again. They spoke in Chinese again since it seemed like she was worried I would understand her (in fact, I do speak Chinese so yes I understood every word). She turned back to me and repeated the same reasoning a few more times. It really didn't make sense to me but I was tired of her attitude and the whole experience so I just nodded and said okay. On a side note, this server was SUPER nice to the table behind us (they spoke Chinese) and kept going over to recommend them dishes & sauces. For my table, she was very bland and uninterested in us. Our whole experience felt very weird and rushed. Bengee was great before the whole management change situation. I don't think I'll be returning.

Bengee Tornado Omurice - Main reason we came, I was craving a tornado omurice dish, but this place ups the level so much. The kimchi and pork belly inside gave it so much flavor that I couldn't help but eat scoop after scoop. Seafood Yakiudon - While the omurice was our main reason for coming, this dish was the winner for us. I couldn't help it when I saw the description and I'm a huge sucker for udon. I was not expecting the amount of flavors this had. They're also pretty generous about the amount of seafood added as well, really fair with the price. I've been wanting to go back hust for this. Bengee House Special Combo - If you're looking to add some rolls to your meal and you're going with one other person, this dish is a good choice because there's two of each kind of roll, so you're able to evenly split them. I'm not a fan of eel in general, but the salmon and shrimp nigiri with their different kind of sauces made a great impression on me. The staff here are very friendly and patient while you go through the menu. It was a bit hard to decide because everything just sounded so good. We need to come back so I can try more of their menu

Found this new sushi spot and they have such an amazing sushi set. Come with me! Highlights of the menu: 1. Bengee tornado omurice 2. Seafood fried udon 3. Deluxe omakase nigiri 4. Yellowtail carpaccio 5. Miso soup 6. Hot tea

I ordered a Chirashi bowl, and OMG it was amazing! You get so many kinds of sashimi in one bowl -- super fresh, tender, and silky. As a sashimi lover, I was so satisfied! We also got two rolls -- spicy salmon and spicy albacore -- both pretty good! Right now they have a lunch special: order any entrée and get a free miso soup and salad. Such a great deal!

We were in Chino and was excited to try out this sushi spot. There's a variety of specialty rolls you won't find anywhere else. Must get the Deluxe Nine Grid Omakase Sashimi The sashimi was good size for sharing. Friendly service and affordable prices too!

House Salad, at least what it was...lol

So I usually don't bother to leave a review unless the place is really good or really bad. So, this place, is really good. For food, the sashimi is fresh and the rice, oh bay, the rice might just be the best sushi rice I have ever had in the inland empire area. For the service, they are super friendly and kids friendly. They don't constantly bother you but just bring you whatever you need on the table, and in my case, the napkins, since I have two kids with me at the time. The place looks like recent remodeled, so it is clean and new. Overall, really nice place, I would definitely come again.

Hidden gem sushi spot! This could be your new go to sushi date night spot! Everything from appetizers to dessert was really good. The garlic chili edamame and miso soup was the perfect starter. The shrimp tempura and rainbow roll were perfect. Fresh fish, they don't overload the rice, & it was on point. Our waitress recommended the curry tornado omu rice & I'm so glad she did, even my toddler loved it!! I highly recommend Bengee Sushi!

What stood out to me was the rice to fish ratio. The rice was small and the fish was generously thick, which made every bite super satisfying. I honestly can't remember having sushi quite like that before. The chefs are from Japan, so you can tell the food is authentic. We also ordered the teriyaki bowl. It was okay, but nothing special. The Chirashi bowl, on the other hand, was packed with fish and definitely worth the price. Overall, if you're a sushi lover, I'd highly recommend giving this place a try.

Of the locations I've been to, this one is by far the least aesthetically pleasing. The other locations, especially the one on Sawtelle, are beautiful and have a nice theme to them. The interior of this one is very strange, it is just a bunch of tables (which are too close to each other) and a mural on one of the walls. The other locations have more wood features/finishes, softer lighting (compared to the harsher lighting here) , and just overall nicer. But ambiance aside, this location is pretty much the same consistent high-quality that I've experienced at other Marugame Udon locations. I think pretty much everything on the menu sounds good, so whatever looks good to you, you should try. I personally love the curry udon. The tempura is great, and I enjoy the pumpkin one the best; however, the last time I went, they didn't allow you to pick the tempura in the cafeteria style line, which is a big part of the experience! We had to order the tempura at the register. They made it to order, which meant it was fresh, but by the time the tempura comes out, I was pretty much already done with the udon, so I can't enjoy the food together. Not sure if that was a one time thing, but if it is a permanent thing, that takes away from the fun and unique cafeteria style experience and makes this just like any other restaurant. But overall, this location is just good. There are a lot of other good restaurants in the Rolling Ridge plaza, but I would go here if I'm in the mood.

The rolls are stuffed so big that they can barely fit in your mouth, the fish is incredibly fresh, and the variety is top notch. Some of our favorites include... the sunset, 4 corner, the crunch hand roll, the Cajun yellowtail, the samurai , and the salmon belly. Holy cow the 4 corner roll is our new favorite! What the heck the magical seared Cajun salmon literally melts in your mouth. And because it's Cajun it has those smoky flavors that mesh so well with the sauces. Our eyes were rolling to the back of our heads with this one. Sunset is our go to. Salmon outside and crab inside. Perfection and the bite size portions are huge! The crunch roll was ginormous!!! So good! I was craving a shrimp tempura roll but wanted the nori so this hit the spot. It had shrimp tempura, avocado, and an overflowing amount of crab! We loved the 4 corner roll so much, our server recommend the Cajun yellowtail nigiri.... Insane. The samurai was really good too. Shrimp tempura, crab, and avocado inside and spicy tuna and fried eel outside. The salmon belly was crazy good. I've never tasted salmon so soft and melty. Asha our server was so so amazing! She brought us the salmon belly on the house, she was patient, kind, attentive, and so friendly :) Please do not hesitate to come here when you are craving some good sushi, great service, and the best ambiance!!!!
