    Forgettable Chive Dumplings.
    Glenn F.

Underwhelming. Although they bill their Basil Duck as the "best in town," it was stringy, dry, and largely inedible. The Chive Dumplings, "Crab" Wontons (made with imitation crab), and Pad Thai were forgettable. The Spring Rolls and Khao Soy were the only passable items. The search for good Thai food in the area continues...

This is what I got for $17

I ordered this: Pad Chicharrons Gra-Pao $17.00 Crispy pork belly sauteed with basil, fresh chili, bell pepper, and garlic over rice. The chicharrons were not crispy and when I told the owner that, she argued with me and said if I wanted them crispy I have to ask for the sauce on the side. I asked her to please remake my order and put the sauce on the side. She hesitated, but she did it very angrily. The portion was very small. Go to ASIAN FUSION on US1 for some delicious Thai food. They are closed until April 1.

The food was great and most of the service but the female server threw the straws at me and threw the menus and was acting extremely rude.

On a couple of occasions, I've even brought in tuna I caught myself, and the chef created a special presentation that truly impressed our friends. When we know they'll be busy, we call ahead, and they always have a table ready for us--often with a little extra charm added. The owner is one of the hardest-working people I know and pays close attention to every detail. When the restaurant is busy it can get a bit noisy for my older ears, but that's understandable given how popular it is. Some of our favorites include the Thai soups, duck dishes, Laos beef jerky, fried soft-shell crab, various Thai dishes, chicken wing appetizers, and of course the sushi. Don't hesitate to ask the sushi chef for a custom plate--you won't be disappointed.

In the past, everything we've tried has been consistently good, and there are so many options on the menu to choose from. We decided to dine in for my mother's birthday, and while the service in terms of getting our food out was quick, the food itself was a huge miss this time. Honestly, everything we ordered fell short, which was surprising given our previous experiences. What made it more disappointing was the birthday moment. We ordered dessert and asked if they could sing happy birthday. They brought out the dessert but didn't acknowledge the birthday at all. Then, less than five minutes later, they celebrated another table by singing, which made the situation feel even worse. Overall, we left feeling really let down. Hoping this was just an off night, but it definitely didn't match what we're used to from this place.

Friendly, attentive, and the kind of service that makes a meal feel more relaxed. Good energy from the start. We ordered a lot, so here is the full breakdown. The miso soup was exactly what miso soup should be. Simple, warm, and good. No surprises. The green salad was basic. Big chunks of lettuce that I would have preferred a little more finely cut, but it was refreshing and grew on me as I kept eating it throughout the meal. The spider roll was a highlight. Light, clean, and did not leave that heavy feeling you sometimes get from rolls that are overdone. It felt like a healthier version of what you usually find and that is a compliment. The lemonade was genuinely good. Flavorful and not overly sweet. Worth ordering. The combo platter came with a shrimp roll, an egg roll, and a fried dumpling. The shrimp roll was the standout, fat juicy shrimp with a sweet chili sauce that worked well. The egg roll tasted good and the dumpling was solid, though a little light on the filling inside. Still enjoyable. The shrimp pad see ew was really good. Nice shrimp, good sauce, well executed. The beef fried rice had solid flavor and did not feel heavy or oily, which matters more than people give it credit for. Overall Num Thai delivered a genuinely enjoyable meal. We will be back.

The staff are always kind and welcoming, and you truly feel like you're transported to Thailand from how authentic the food tastes and the vibe in the restaurant. This time around there was barely any parking available in the shopping center but luckily there was only a wait of about 20-30 minutes. We were seated, greeted and served very quickly. This time around I came with a few friends and to start we had the papaya salad (not spicy {we forgot to add spice}), and the chicken wings. Both dishes were very fresh. As my main dish I ordered the Pad Woon Sen with shrimp and one of my friends ordered the Pad Thai with chicken (spicy). Both dishes were incredible and I would order them again. To drink I ordered a Thai iced tea which was rich and silky. And for dessert we shared an order of the mango sticky rice which was so flavorful and delicious.

The dining room was a bit warm, but once we were seated, the service more than made up for it. The servers were attentive, friendly, and checked on us throughout the meal. The atmosphere was one of the highlights. The Thai music and simple decor made the restaurant feel authentic. We started with the calamari and the chicken larb. The calamari itself was good, but the real standout was the accompanying peanut sauce. It added a rich, nutty sweetness that elevated every bite. The larb was outstanding. Larb is a traditional northeastern Thai salad made with ground chicken, fresh herbs, especially fragrant mint, lime juice. The mint gave it a bright, refreshing flavor that balanced the savory and tangy ingredients beautifully. For our entrées, we ordered the pineapple fried rice and the Khao Soi. The pineapple fried rice balanced sweet pineapple with savory curry-seasoned rice, vegetables, raisins and protein, making it both comforting and flavorful. Khao Soi is a famous northern Thai curry noodle soup with a rich coconut curry broth, noodles, meat, and crispy fried noodles on top for texture. It was our favorite. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the portions were generous... more than enough food for two people. Despite the 45-minute wait and the warm dining room, the authentic atmosphere, attentive service, and excellent food made it a meal worth returning for.

So we stopped by here instead. Mistake Do not eat here ! The place is in a run down, almost empty plaza -1st flag It's a small, dirty place - almost no other customers there -2nd flag We order 2 of the crispy tuna and 1 gyoza. Gyoza was ok. The crispy tuna was terrible. I kept one because I felt bad sending both back to the kitchen, but the other one we sent back and ordered a crunchy JB roll instead. Waiting a long time , and when it finally arrived- it was beep fried in thick batter. Like they never heard of tempura? She never came back to check on us. And when the bill came, she didn't provide me with a receipt , just the electronic reader with an amount. I asked if I could see the receipt and she pretended she couldn't understand me. I asked if I was being charged for the returned item and was told no. She stayed staring at me to make sure I put a tip before she walked away. Latter, I checked, and I had been charged for the returned item. They also sat us by a curtained off space in the wall with seemed to lead to a storage space in a lived in apartment. Were they living there? Now I have to fight to get a refund without a receipt. Just don't go there. Terrible in every aspect
