A New Vibe Has Officially Arrived in Homestead Sushi Sake!! Homestead just got a MAJOR upgrade! Sushi Sake has opened its doors, and let me tell you this place is absolutely electric. From the second you walk in, the vibe hits you... warm lighting, modern décor, clean lines, and a stylish lounge feel that makes you want to kick back, relax, and stay a while. The bar is stunning shelves of top-shelf spirits glowing like artwork and the seating areas are sleek, comfortable, and perfect for date night, family outings, or late-night bites. The booths and lighting create a high-end feel without losing that cozy neighborhood charm. But what really makes this place special? The leadership and team. They're attentive, friendly, and genuinely excited to be part of the Homestead community. You can feel their passion in every detail. Service is fast, the energy is upbeat, and everyone here treats you like family. And the BEST part? They're open late! Finally, a spot in Homestead where you can grab great food, great drinks, and a great atmosphere well into the night. Whether you're craving sushi, cocktails, or just a new place with an A-plus vibe, Sushi Sake is the move. Homestead; go show them some love. This is the new hotspot we've been waiting for! 11/10 Check it out ASAP!

Service was great. Food was fresh and tasty. Live music on Friday night was a nice touch for a calm vibe. Lighting is low. Great for groups.

The Italian side atmosphere was traditional white linen table cloths and an open atmosphere and the Mexican side had interesting art work on the walls and less formal. Both were welcoming. There was plenty of parking outside and as soon as we walked in they sat us right away and got our drink orders and bought us our menus and bought us very delicious warm garlic rolls. Our waitress was always available. She kept our drinks full and our table clean. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. And they give you a lot of food. My order came with a choice of soup or a salad. I had the salad and it was very crisp and fresh. My only complaint was the spaghetti sauce was a little watery, but it was very tasty and the meatballs were incredibly good. It was a great place to go for lunch. The noise level was perfect. We were able to enjoy conversations and it was a relaxing atmosphere. They offer a menu with many choices and the prices were good.

I really liked the overall location of this place. There's plenty of parking unlike at most breweries we've gone to and the outside patio area is nice and big. The inside has a humidor with cigars, 2 pool tables and some games to play which I really liked. One thing I love about breweries is talking with the bartenders and trying different beers. If that's the experience you're going for, however, this may not be the place for that. The bartender was a little stand offish. She asked what we wanted and ordering felt rushed. After my first beer I asked what another popular beer was so I could try it and she said "that IS the popular beer..." So I just stuck to drinking it the rest of the night. My husband ordered a beer called "I'm a fiend" and she corrected him saying "uhm it's friend" ... uhm, no it's not, we can read. She was just a little dismissive and messed with our vibe. Luckily, because there was a DJ inside blasting music so loud we couldn't hear a thing, we decided to sit outside and it changed our mood. The Mexican food truck outside had delicious food. We actually ordered twice! And my husband smoked a cigar in peace. A girl came around giving samples of a beer and we ended up having a nice night despite the bartenders personality.

From the second you pull up the driveway, you are greeted by rolling rows of vines and an atmosphere that instantly makes you drop your shoulders and relax. It completely lives up to its name--the vibe is effortlessly mellow, sophisticated, and incredibly welcoming. Here is why this place has officially become my absolute favorite spot: 1. The Wine & Food Pairings are Masterful The culinary team here clearly works hand-in-hand with the winemakers, because the pairings are flawless. We started with a crisp, beautifully balanced white blend paired with an artisanal charcuterie board featuring locally sourced cheeses and a phenomenal house-made fig jam. For the main course, the slow-braised short rib literally melted off the bone, and when paired with their estate estate Syrah, it was pure magic. Every bite was an absolute home run. 2. Breathtaking Atmosphere & Ambiance The design of the restaurant strikes the perfect balance between rustic vineyard charm and modern elegance. We sat out on the covered patio, which offers sweeping, unobstructed views of the vineyard. As the sun began to set, they lit the fire pits and turned on string lights, creating an incredibly romantic, warm glow across the entire space. It's the kind of environment where you just want to linger for hours over dessert and another bottle. 3. World-Class Hospitality What truly elevates Mellow Grapes is the service. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable without an ounce of pretentiousness. They walked us through the tasting notes of each wine, shared the history of the vineyard, and gave us brilliant recommendations based on our personal palates. The pace of the meal was perfect--we never felt rushed, yet we were perfectly looked after the entire evening. The Verdict Mellow Grapes is an absolute gem. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, planning a perfect date night, or just want to treat yourself to an exquisite meal and fantastic wine, this place delivers on every front. The passion behind the food, the wine, and the hospitality is evident in every single detail. I'm already counting down the days until my next visit. Cheers to the team for creating such a spectacular experience!

Instead, we were sat at the smallest bar seating, which was completely inappropriate and not romantic at all for an occasion like Valentine's Day. As soon as we sat down, I politely asked if we could be moved. The manager then told me that I had booked bar seating, which is simply not true. Why would anyone reserve bar seating a month in advance for Valentine's Day? I checked my reservation confirmation myself and it never stated that, and I even tried making another reservation to verify ..bar seating wasn't even an option. He told us he would "see what he could do," and we were left waiting at the bar with no water, no menus, no service, and no communication whatsoever. Meanwhile, we watched multiple couples get seated at proper tables back-to-back. At one point, we even overheard another couple say their reservation was at the same time as ours, and they were seated at a table immediately. When I tried to politely ask for an update, the manager or owner completely ignored me. No acknowledgment, no apology, nothing. I was honestly in shock at how disrespectful and dismissive they were. We ended up getting up and leaving because of how uncomfortable and disrespected we felt. Valentine's Day is supposed to be special, and this restaurant completely ruined that experience.

It came up to about $40. We enjoyed a bottle of chardonnay - nicely cool and crisp - while chatting and enjoying the game. I think they just have bottles, not wine by the glass. I'd certainly recommend Magie for a casual date night, or nightcap after dinner elsewhere. The patio with string lights and all does seem cute for a quiet evening.
