The service here could definitely use a bit of improvement. The cashiers are very brusque and rude - there are no excuses fir that! The accessories and jewelry selection is also pretty limited - only a few pieces of John Hardy and Judith Ripka and maybe 2 Prada nylon totes. If you are looking for a Longchamp, they do have a decent selection but the discount is 10-15% max. The fashion selection is also limited with a few designer pieces whose only claim to fame is the branding - the styles are sloppily cut and borderline obsolete. There is a Gilt concierge/stylist here which is a nice plus but the limited selection and rude staff definitely detract. The Bergen Town Center location wins hands-down. read more

If I could give this company a zero I would. This company is ridiculous. My friends surprise me and send a gift (Leather Bag) and informed me the package should arrive on Sunday. Since I am in church on Sunday, nevertheless, there was someone home to accept the package. While I'm in church, I received a text from my friend stating the package was delivered. I contact my sister to confirm if they received the package and she stated that no package came neither did anyone knocked on the door. At my request, I told her to check in front of the apartment door and when she checked, there was no package. In addition she went downstairs to check the lobby and outside of the building and there was no package. I live in NYCHA housing, and was completely shock to later learn that the delivery company Sacks off 5th used, which is CDL delivery, left the package in front of the building. As proof of deliver, they provided a picture of a box in front of the building however the name of the company nor recipient was visible in this picture. Leaving a package in front of a building is unacceptable, especially when they had my contact number if they needed access into the building. Why would anyone in their right mind think it's okay to leave a package in front of a NYCHA development? That's a clear invitation for anyone to steal. My friend contact Sacks several times requesting for a refund and they denied all her claims for a refund. Since her husband is such a loyal customer of Sacks OFF 5th, you would at least think they would have refund him for the stolen package but it is quite clear they don't value him as a customer and he will no longer be shopping at this establishment. I even went the length to file a police report to no prevail. Please do not purchase from this company. They are using a delivery company with an F ratings according to BBB. I bought a pair of jeans online from Saks off fifth. When I was on the website it suggested a size to buy based on past purchases, so I bought the size suggested. When I received the package the jeans were way too small. Now this was a "final sale" but I feel, that I should be given some latitude for a return given that they suggested a size. I sent them back for a return along with a note saying that their customer service people said that they would give me a refund and put a note in the system saying so. Two weeks later I receive a box again in the mail. They spent money on FedEx to send it back to me again and was told that I will not be getting my money back. Several days later, I was sent another email stating that I could expect to receive 2 of my 3 items ordered Dec. 13. I received a really damaged dress super stained in oil and super dirty super super abused dress and of course used and worn before. This dress I bought to wear in a special birthday party and they ruined my day sending it damaged to me and after that I had no dress for this occasion. 0 stars if I could I purchased a dress online but it was never delivered. They are refusing to refund me, send a replacement dress, or give me store credit because I am quote a "bad purchaser." This was my only order I have made on Saks Off Fifth's website, so it's not like I have an extensive order history. This is the only one. I ordered several white dresses because I needed a dress for an engagement shoot. I kept 1 dress for the shoot (as that's all I needed) and returned the rest to the store in a very timely manner. Like I mentioned, 1 dress was never delivered. I submitted a "Order Not Received" form on their website for the item. I never got a response. I then live chatted with an associate, where they submitted another form. I never got a response. Finally, I called customer service and was eventually transferred to a supervisor where he told me both of my previous claims were rejected because I was a "bad purchaser" and based on my history of several returns they would not refund me and that there was nothing I could do. I was just out of the money. I was shocked and extremely upset. I have never heard of this from any other retailer. I felt like I was being accused of being a criminal who is secretly keeping the dress and trying to get a refund. When I just never received it and Saks took my money. I feel like in this day and age, online shopping is how most people buy their clothes. It's very common to order something in multiple sizes to make sure one will fit, and then return the one that does not. There is nowhere in Saks Off Fifth's policies on their websites that outlines this. The item even shipped separately from all the other items, by itself. I then called after receiving the tracking number from your site_ called Fed Ex as instructed by Mr. Machi-Fed Ex states only Saks can change the address-I then call Saks I speka with Floyd and Fed ex for a conference call on 12/7-Floyd places me and Fed Ex on hold 16 minutes, Fed ex can no longer hold, So I remain on the line-after 19 minutes-Floyd hangs up, I call back and speak with another guy-He puts me on hold 9 minutes and never returns, I call back and speak with Nohzula, she states a supervisor will call me back-she takes my email, order number and phone number.... No supervisor calls me back-I then call back and speak with Axo, he states-wait for the item to ship then contact Fed Ex and tell them I want to pick up the package since no one can revise the address.... Case number: 05638412 Order number: 101194296 I am writing this complaint regarding an order I placed online October 18, 2020 with Saks Off Fifth. I received my order October 21, 2020. Upon opening my package I noticed the box for the Gucci watch was slightly open,as I continue to unpack I discovered to my surprise that the box was empty (the watch was missing). I immediately called on October 21, 2020 to report that I didn't receive my watch in the delivered package and it was just an empty watch box. I was told that they would conduct an investigation and that it would take 15 business days. By November 11th by email they stated the investigation was ruled in my favor and that it would take 3-7 business days for my refund to fully process and reflect in my account. After 3-7 business days have passed I never received my refund and called and emailed again. On November 27, 2020 from that point on something seemed wrong because I was told they could not find my case, so I now had another case number. I spoke to so many representatives, one by the name of Somahle, employee ID 54305. I also spoke to a supervisor named Tessa who refused to give me her employee ID, but she notated the account. On December 2nd 2020, I received an email from Benjie Alcontin that they reprocessed a refund to me and hopefully I will receive the refund within 10-14 business days. So on Saturday December 5th, 2020 I decided to give them a call to ensure that the email was correct while also expressing my feelings towards their unprofessionalism towards this whole situation after voicing myself and ending the conversation. A few minutes later I received an email stating my claim was no longer approved. It seemed as if the representative (employee ID C994054) was unhappy with my frustration and not understating the inconvenience this situation is causing me, which I clearly expressed. So on an unprofessional (level after ending our conversation He denies my claim by email. This is not a company anyone should conduct business with. They are extremely unprofessional and give the customer the run around. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing the watch. It has been over a month now going back and fourth with them for their mistakes within their distribution center. Do not shop online with Saks Off Fifth. Please go to their Facebook page to check out all of the problems they are having. They are frequently sending out the wrong order or they don't send it at all and keep your money. I'm not sure when this practice began but I have reported them to law enforcement. They continue to lie and tell you they are looking into it. Two weeks later I received a response they were basically keeping my money and not providing the item. If this only happened to me this would be poor customer service but Saks off 5th is scamming hundreds of people this way during the pandemic. Bought a sportscoat for about 50% off. It was worth less than that. This jacket had to be a defective rack pull. No buttons on either sleeve (had to purchase a whole new set for the tailor). Had a crease across the shoulder blades that the tailor had to charge extra for to reconstruct the back. Speaking of reconstructing, both shoulder pads were way out of whack and also had to be reconstructed. Today is Saturday 6/10/2023, I entered the store at 8:56pm(4 minutes before they close) the door was open, I walked down the escalator, after 10 steps the security man on the other escalator starts yelling at me and threatening me if I didn't stop!! I was shocked, I told him I am here to return an item & leave, he said we are closed and you need to leaveright now, I said no you are not closed there are still 4 minutes to close and alli need to return these items & leave, I told him in a very  nice way that it takes 1.5 hours to be here so please let me return my item because I am flying outside the states & may be not able to return it on time, he starts screaming hysterically & threatening me if I didn't leave I'll regret it, and he said leave before cops are here!!! He said all registersare closed, i told him but i can see people inside, he tried to attacked me hysterically & tried to touch me but I avoided him by leaving the store, I felt unsafe, he was carrying a gun on his left & I felt he might shoot me at anytime because of the insane way he was acting (everything should be on the store's camera). I was shocked!! Seriously?! How can you treat a citizen like that??! Who are you to treat me in such a humiliating way?!! When I left, I was thinking of calling cops but I decided to call the online customer service who took all the information & they said they will call me from the corporation within 24-48 hours. I still can't belive this happened, this security man was very close to hurt me , he was hysterical, ad if he was high or may be drunk (I am not sure , I am just assuming based on his behavior with me) , while I was talking to the online customer service(the call lasts 20 minutes), more than 8 people left the store, last one left at 9:24pm! This was my first experience with Saks OFF 5th and definitely my last. I wish I had read the reviews of this store. Most are appalling. My experience is as follows: I ordered a dress online. It arrived. I opened the box but not the package, as the fabric looked sleezy. I went to the Saks Off 5th store at 57th Street to return the dress. The line was unbelievably long. While there was a separate area for returns, that area was closed due to lack of personnel. Or so I was told. Finally, I was able to return the dress. I paid for the dress with Paypal. The store credited the dress back to Paypal. It has been my experience with reputable stores like Bloomingdale, The Gap, etc., that Paypal notifies you within a couple of hours and often less that a credit has been issued. I have received no such notice in two days. I understand from Paypal that some stores delay issuing credit. Saks OFF 5th is, apparently, particularly bad. I have notified my credit card company of this Saks OFF 5th scam. read more

The ties came from several stores -so despite no shipping fee for over $99- since they were shipped separately --I received a charge. They refuse to refund my money. They say the order was returned after 30 days from when I placed the order. It took 3 weeks for me to receive the ties. read more

Please tell me this is just a Pop-Up Store to help promote that online company Gilt! I have never felt so embarrassed by a retail store in New York City ever! Even Kmart and Target have better quality merchandise than this location. There is nothing inside this store that I would even imagine would ever be sold at 'Sak's Fifth Avenue' on Fifth in their high end stores. This store is inside the old Daffy's and many dedicated shoppers of that chain were expecting much more from a company with the name 'Sak's Fifth Avenue off Fifth' --- The store is still the original layout of Daffy's with the exception of a few new shelves and counters for display. Other than that -- Sak's got lucky with a stunning location. This store is perfect for a shopper who is only looking for an Outlet Store with low-end merchandise and High-End labels inside. Look at the photos I shot on my visit and judge for yourself. So many women were walking around and shaking their heads at the low end clothing with exorbitant prices. Such as $60 for a stretchy 100% polyester sleeveless top just because it had a Calvin Klein label inside -- it is sold at Conway's/Falles discount house without the same label for $9.99 and at Strawberry's for $19.99 with the Calvin Klein label. The price tags on many of the items were not in the $12.99 range as they should be, like at Walmart/Kmart store and instead they were in the $50-$60 and up price range. The men's selection was dreadful! It felt like an outlet store in the garment district from the 1980's with racks of low quality suits set up for tourists to grab up thinking the suits were something special. The men's t-shirts were very Walmart. Sadly, I was in the store for about 35 minutes walking around and not one sales person approached me to help me or anyone else for that matter. The staff was standing in corners of the store complaining that they had to work all day and that they couldn't get a weekend off. Oh and the gum chewing staff was out of control - I felt like I was in a 1950's horror movie. One sales clerk wanted customers to know she had gum in her mouth because she kept snapping it and the noise was upsetting to a male shopper who said that loud noise was affecting his hearing aides. When the clerk heard that, she rudely told him he could shop a place that catered to 'his kind' -- he was a nicely dressed mid 50 year old male who looked like he was an original Sak's Fifth Avenue customer .. perhaps she meant that garbage shopped here and he wasn't garbage? I would suggest to people who want outlet clothing to shop elsewhere, because the prices will be better and possibly even better selection of merchandise. Shame on your buyer's Sak's for degrading the value of the original company. You should call this store 'Discount Clothing Lines' instead But alas, I was rather kind in this review as to what I truly thought because I still shop at Sak's Fifth Avenue and have had my account with them since I was a teenager ... read more

Even bigger is the Saks shoe department at the main store (located a few blocks away) which has its own zip code 10022. This brand new Saks Off Fifth has discounts on shoe brands like Valentino, Jimmy Choo, Uggs and more! The vast selection, open space & organization make it a lot of fun to shop here. The rep opened the case but nothing happen, whatever how many time I called, the rep only told me to wait 5 business days without any explaination.
