Went yesterday for early dinner. Very nice and cozy place with indoor and outdoor seatingI would say they could use a little more lighting but overall was pleased with atmosphere. They were out of some items on menu but that didn't stop us from ordering. We had kids ramen, edamame, spring rolls, my husband had a spicy tuna bowl and I had a fire ramen with pork. I can say that it wasn't as spicy as I'd like it to be but I can also eat very spicy food like it's nothing so maybe its just me everything was full of flavor and tasted really good. I also had a green tea boba and it was delicious. Very polite staff and good prices. Thank you

The Twisted Chopstick has quickly become one of our favorites! The food is fresh, artfully presented and always delicious. It's rare that they had a food misstep. The menu is fairly extensive, offering sushi, ramen, bento boxes and more. The servers are attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu offerings. Housed in an old home on the edge of downtown DeLand, the restaurant has vintage charm, allowing the food to take center stage. They offer a selection of bottled beer as well as beer on tap, wine, and soft drinks. There is seating outside overlooking an oriental inspired garden with subdued lighting, perfect for a romantic meal on a balmy evening. If you are looking for a low key delightful meal, you must dine at The Twisted Chopstick. As a side note, The Twisted Chopstick has consistently high ratings from the health department.

The food was absolutely delicious. The dragon ball was absolutely delicious. The ramen I had was honestly not bad . The pork literally melted in my mouth . It was nice in light . I wish the noodles were a bit thicker, but it was still delicious . Sadly I didn't get to try out the Taro Boba tea , but I had the vanilla one to go and it was honestly pretty good . There wasn't a lot of parking space so me and my man parked at the salon next to the place . [[HIGHLIGHT]]The building is so pretty. Even though it's a small building I was surprised on how pretty it was.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The temperature was 65 degrees and it felt so nice after bowling[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . The service was good too . The lady recommended some good sushi for us , but I sadly forgot to take a picture of it to show yelp . I'll make sure to make another review next time I go . Highly recommend going .

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere, the food, the service was all a 10/10![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Jasmine was our waitress and she was so sweet and very efficient. We had the sweet Thai chili edamame, several rolls, and the ramen. I highly recommend The Twisted Chopstick.

Awesome!! Charming restaurant in an old house, we sat inside in the AC and were very comfortable, there was also the option of outdoor deck seating. What we ordered: Korean BBQ Roll, Volcano Roll, Vegetable Tempura Roll, Indie Roll, Fire Ramen, Shrimp Tempura Roll, and Macha Cheesecake, Boba tea. It was truly excellent, portions were just right and every bite was delicious! We wanted a little something sweet and Nathaniel recommended the macha cheesecake! Man, was he spot on. It was the perfect ending! Great food, great service, relaxing atmosphere! We will be back!

I moved from Los Angeles and miss the amount of sushi and ramen restaurants that surrounded me. I wandered into this little cozy house and discovered such a peaceful unique sushi joint awaiting me. I don't understand how this place isn't packed because the food quality was on point!! We started off with an appetizer of the Ahi Nachos and, oh my, was it super tasty. The crunch of the chips coupled with the fresh Ahi tuna is a crowd pleaser. I ordered the Samurai roll per the waitresses recommendation. The roll was amazing and had pickled jalapeños on top which added another layer of flavor. Of course we added some sake to our dinner. We have three little ones at home and finally had a date night. This resturant had us out of there in 35 minutes and we honestly didn't feel rushed, that's how great our service was. We had enough time to hit up some batting cages and miniature golf on the way home. Thank you for giving us a wonderful date night!

Food is delicious! Never disappointed with the food, service and atmosphere. Great little restaurant to have a date night.

I'm ready to try everything on this menu! I was super excited to try this place as it has been on my list for a little since I just moved here. I'm gonna start very basic by just getting the vanilla boba. It had great flavor and the boba balls were chewy just like they should be. For dinner I got the pork broth ramen. It was awesome! Tons of flavor the pork was so tender and I ordered corn for $2. Overall the meal was super filling and I was very full when I left. For both of these items I paid $20 which isn't a bad price as I've been to other places where the bowl alone was $15+ and then add the extra toppings. Our waitress was great, she had some great recommendations. My friend was not a pork eater but she also wanted to try this version so they allowed her to sub the pork for mushrooms and that looked amazing too!

I see the miso ramen is vegetarian. What is in it that makes it vegetarian but not vegan? Looking for some vegan ramen.

I would assume that it's because it comes with the hard boiled egg in it by default. You can probably ask for it without. They were definitely accommodating about a lot of things, and were a little helpful on the phone; you might just call and ask.

The server looked at with a smile and slight confusion. We realized they were not yet open! I felt like a dunce. We offered to come back. She made sure we were comfortable, provided several laughs, and advised that the chef was preparing. The ambiance was so inviting and the overall vibe was great so waiting was not even a concern. We started with the wings. Oh my! They were out of this world. I can only assume (because I didn't ask) that they were soy garlic, and oh so yummy. Extremely tender and moist, with more flavor than any wing should have. My Daughter ordered the chilli oil noodles. They were a medium spice packed with flavor. My finance ordered hot and spicy noodles that didn't hold back. They were as described with the perfect about of heat. She'd felt they would have benefited from a bit of sweetness, but were delicious. I thought they were great. I ordered the mongoose Dan Dan noodles. They were also delicious. The noodles themselves were the star I feel. They had the perfect amount of bounce giving an authenticity I didn't expect. I tried all three dishes and my favorite was the hot and spicy noodles but my daughter gave her leftovers to her boyfriend! I was offended but I survived. We shared a slice of pistachio cake that was truly special. The server told us it was amazing but we didn't expect it to be that good. It was super moist, not overly sweet, and was nothing less than perfect. Totally unexpected. This is a true gem.

When you come in, it's more of a take out with tables for people that want eat in, I think about 8-9 in total, butting right up to the door for maximum capacity, but good furniture, really nice. The decor is pleasing and appropriate for the food genre. We were dining in so we got a menu and stepped aside so people behind could go. We both ordered spicy ramen, Miso chicken soup and the Korean soup, with seafood (mussels, shrimp and baby scallops). We also had the Crab Rangoon appetizer. The food came relatively quickly but it was fresh, you can tell. The operation is well done. First, the appetizer seemed like it was made to order, hot and very tasty. . Dipped in duck sauce and wow . Loved it. The ramen was also very delicious. My grandson loved his miso and my Korean style. It was a very big bowl of food so with a growing young man to help with mine, we were able to almost finish it all. Delicious. The reason for the 4 stars, really 4.5 but that's not available, is one of the shrimp in my bowl wasn't deveined and that is so unappealing to me. As far as I could see the others were and they were excellent in texture and taste, but it is what it is. I will definitely return and I didn't talk about the Boba teas which were both very delicious. You can't go wrong, give them a try.

I was able to find parking just down the street, but there is not really a lot of parking in the downtown area of Deland, so be forewarned. The outside is quite unassuming, and as the place only takes up a single "slot" in the row of shops along the main street, it is quite narrow inside. Not a problem for me, as I was alone, so taking up a small table near the entry was not a problem. I was greeted when I walked in and told to sit anywhere, so the small table was perfect for me. Inside is decorated relatively sparsely, but it is appropriate. The menu is what you would expect in pretty much any pho house, if you have been to a few. I went for a standard beef and meatball pho and the summer rolls, as I do love a good summer roll. They of course came out first, and I started in on them as I read my book and waited for the pho to come out. Both dishes were quite good, and if I am in the area I will absolutely be returning. It is a good heartwarming food experience, and in the colder months it is a perfect way to warm up a bit.

While I didn't do the all-you-can-eat option, I ordered the Chef's Special Prime Hanger Steak, and it was unbelievably tender--so tender it practically melted in my mouth. It came with three flavorful dipping sauces that complemented the meat perfectly. The meal also included a variety of fresh and authentic banchan (Korean side dishes). As a Korean, I can appreciate good banchan, especially since both my mom and sister are amazing cooks. Hanwoo definitely delivered on authenticity and quality. I was fortunate enough to try both of their soups--a rich beef broth soup and a flavorful kimchi soup. Both were outstanding and packed with traditional Korean flavor. The service was exceptional. Our waiter was incredibly friendly, and I even got to speak a little Korean with him, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean, and feels brand new. It truly captures the warmth and tradition of Korean dining. I highly, highly recommend Hanwoo. In fact, I already need to call my parents because we're definitely coming here for Korean barbecue. The Coconut Shrimp roll was sweet from the coconut sauce and the coconut added a yummy flavor and texture to the roll, as well. If you like coconut and sweet rolls, you'll love this. The Florida roll was GAS ! I just started getting into spicy food and spicy tuna recently and this was just perfect. The right amount of bite and the spicy tuna on top tasted so good. It seems like they mash it up, which makes it easier to chew than typical raw tuna. A great savory roll and the flavor profile was just right, adding the eel sauce was a nice touch. The Alaska Roll speaks for itself, I mean look at that mountain of crunch I got it both times I went (inadvertently). I think I got it right with the name... I was calling it the volcano roll, but that has mango sauce on it. This one has kani on top and cream cheese inside and probably shrimp tempura.
