    AYCE Buffet

If Sakura Buffet was a boxer, it would be one of the best "pound for pound" buffets out there. Food is always hot and stacked. Plentiful choices. Once you walk inside, all you see are buffet islands of foods. So choose carefully. I've never had one bad experience when coming or eating here. One of my favorite AYCE places.

Affordable buffet, large selection of foods, and attentive service. Great for groups, as there's something for everybody. I would dine here again! We came on a Sunday, so it was very busy, but we were sat right away. The restaurant is spacious, with two dining areas, so there's plenty of tables. What I loved about this place is that they have a sushi bar and hibachi grilling area, where they cook your chosen raw items in front of you. I suggest bringing a couple of dollars to tip the sushi and hibachi cooks if you choose those stations. There's plenty to choose from in this buffet, from savory choices like clam, mussel, shrimp, fish, chicken, pasta, pizza, salad and soup, to sweet treats like fruit, pudding, cookies, pie and ice cream. Flavor-wise, the hibachi steak and noodles with veggies I got were my favorite. I'd come back just for a couple rounds of that! Next best thing was the sushi. It was light and fresh. The guy was making more rolls when I got to the sushi bar. They make sure to keep it stocked. Some of the less tasty items were the pizza and cake. I did have a slice of warm apple pie and a fried donut, which were delicious! Our server was very attentive and came by several times throughout our meal to clear the table of old plates and refill our drinks. I always appreciate attentive service! All-in-all, this place is a good choice if you're looking for affordability and a variety of options.

I frequent this place with my friends, even went on a couple dates here! I enjoy the food, there's a huge variety to choose from. I usually go during the week because of the great lunch price of $11.99! They are usually not pretty busy during the week before 3pm so the service is really good, waiters/waitresses are all pretty good at clearing the table fast as soon as you finish your plate.

The food was completely trash! My lady and I came here since we were in the area and wanted to try something new and it wasn't the best experience we will not be returning. The food was rather dry/ hard not really seasoned. I got the sesame chicken it was very dry very hard it seemed like it was cooked a day prior and microwaved for today's serving. The veggie egg rolls were hard the bourbon chicken was pretty dry. The rice was about the only thing that wasn't overcooked. I complained to the manager he did offer me a discount which was at least a step but it wasn't enough to not leave my review. If you have the extra money or extra time to go elsewhere for better quality food something that clearly wasn't made yesterday and warmed up for today please do so you'll thank yourself later and save yourself the disappointment. Again first visit and last visit just as fast! In my opinion moving forward fresh food would be desirable more options would be nice as well everything is pretty much the same dry under flavored over cooked food.

I've been craving a Chinese buffet. Since COVID started a lot of them have closed or the quality has not been good. I got to the restaurant at 11:20 hoping to get the freshest food. I thought I would give Sakura a try based upon a recommendation from a friend. But this was a big disappointment. The hot food was only warm and the cold food was warm. I tried a lot of different dishes and only a couple of them were decent - fried wontons and dumplings were both good. The have several American dishes that I have not see at other Chinese resturants - pork chops, fried fish, polish sausage, Mac n cheese and fries. Some comments on other items I tried: Terrayaki and Bourbon Chicken - only at room temp despite being on a steam table (and yes I stirred it to get what was on the bottom) Sweet and sour chicken - over cooked and mostly breading Sesame chicken - unable to chew Chicken on a Stick - overcooked

I'll usually filter out restaurants by the average / amount of reviews and this was a top contender. Located inside an unassuming shopping plaza, we backed into a suitable parking spot and finally entered the legendary Sushi Bear. The first thing we instinctually noticed was an odd, chemical smell (hopefully cleaning product / hence the knocked off star) and some of the walls looked to be under renovation and partially covered with incoherent children's scribble, but no big deal. We were promptly sat and immediately served a complimentary holiday roll and clear soups which were both very tasty. Soon after, our order was taken and within minutes was brought to us which we quickly filled up on. The staff were VERY attentive and friendly. The food was excellent and I will 100% be returning here whenever I need another convenient sushi fix. Highly recommended for the area. - Lou Sassle

Did pick up and the food was ready when I arrived (great service) and people were sooo very nice. I did hibachi dinner with scallops, the scallops were perfectly cooked. Loved the fresh crispy salad and the ginger dressing was so good, not the average type dressing. I look forward to going in to Sushi Bear and try the fresh Sushi.

We split the Braised Pork Belly Bao to start, which was great. After that, we worked from the lunch specials. She did the Hot Box with chicken and I did the Sushi Box. We liked both and the only afterthought was that she would've asked for shrimp instead of chicken next time. My only note was that the Spicy Tuna roll included with my box was VERY spicy. That may sound like an odd thing to say but many places don't mean "spicy" when they say it about their rolls. O-ku means spicy when they say it, so just know that. When I first came in after the remodel I was skeptical, but day after day (hit after hit) Wasabi delivers. The food is AYCE and is made fresh to order. I'm a huge fan of nigiri so this is such a dea. Normally two pieces could easily be 5+ at another location. Don't like sushi? No worries! They have hibachi, tempur, soups, salad, dumplings. This is a great place to take people new to sushi who are discovering their preferences ( please consider the sweet potato sushi, it will be better than you anticipate). Please be warned, there is a price per sushi piece left behind. While I never seen the staff bring down the hammer, it is a clearly written rule. Also, if one person at the table orders AYCE then shares their food you will be charged for two AYCE (which makes sense). The interior is simple but the vibes are immaculate, super laid back and they often give small gifts during certain holidays. The AYCE is approx 16 dollars until 3, their dinner prices increase.
