Doordashed this place and am really regretful for spending the money that I did. I'm usually pretty easy to work with, they didn't have toro or uni which I was charged for but they called and we worked out a solution so they replaced with more pieces of yellow tail and tuna. That wasn't the problem. I would have scored them higher but their Ikura was disappointing. I got 2 orders of ikura and they gave me 4 pieces that were rotting, smelly, and sticky. I just went and picked up a California roll and a Spicy tuna roll. I asked for a side of sriracha. First thing I noticed was that sriracha was runny like they watered it down. My experience at this restaurant was very unpleasant. Ranging from the workers to the food was overall digesting. The way the old waitress was treating my friends and I quite awful. We would show our appreciation by saying, "thank you" and "...please". They did not properly cut the salmon, tuna nor the sashimi which is very unsafe due to it being not good to eat. I've been a very loyal customer here for years. Lately the service has just been so bad. When I order takeout every time she tells me "15 minutes" for my order to be ready. I wait 15 minutes and then go to pick up my order and I usually wait another 20-30 minutes. One time I had to wait an hour because they gave away my order to someone else. Normally I'm very understanding of mistakes but they tried to lie to me to cover up the mistake, which really isn't cool. Tonight was the last straw for me, they raised their prices but didn't list it on the website. So when I get there to pick up my order I was charged significantly more than the prices listed online. I called before hand to see if I should make a reservation and the lady on the phone was impolite towards me. I've read some of the other reviews, and with some deep fried rolls they're packed so full you don't need more than 3-4 rolls and it come with 5. any other roll comes with 7-8 which is a lot. Today I took my kids out for Sushi. We chose to eat All-You-Can-Eat. When we got our food, but it didn't taste too fresh. Pretty sad because they just opened, you would think everything should be freshly made. The tempura tasted like it has been sitting and not fried fresh. They also put way too much rice, and they expect you to eat every bit of it...or they will charge you. The ratio is way off. Also the tuna and salmon tasted a little fishy. We go eat Sushi regularly and this place disappointed me. I can usually eat a lot, but because of the bad tastes...I couldn't even finish a third of my order. Which made me waste food, and due to all-you-can-eat, I wasted a lot. I was told I should be charged $10 extra, but being it be my first and only plate of food...I'm glad they didn't add that charge, because that would just totally make me upset. When it came to the third round of ordering he said "Wow! You must be hungry!". The fourth order I placed, 3 orders each of the sake and the super white nigiri, he said "Wow! That's a lot!". This was my first time eating here, along with my son. We both love sushi and decided to try since it's right down the street from my house. I've never been since it opened as I always wanted to try the buffet. But with the pandemic that's no longer an option. However, they do offer a really good COVID special, the 3B special. It was 5 rolls along with shrimp tempura. It was pretty tasty and good for the value if you aren't sure of which rolls to try. I also got the fried calamari which was really crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The miso soup was also really good. I liked the service, but it wasn't busy when we went around 1pm on a Saturday afternoon. I do plan on coming back sometime to try again with my family. read more
