The noise level is unacceptable and does not match the specifications even on the lowest setting.

When I needed to get another hood for my new construction, I went and bought a newer model of the same brand. They pact in more features than I anticipated. The lowest fan speed is very quiet and the highest speed can really suck. You can control the fan speed by just waving your hand in front of the hood. It is well built with high quality. Of course, the price does reflect the quality but I totally believe it is worth the money. I've read some reviews about bad store service but my experience was just the opposite. The store layout needs some improvements but two ladies there were helpful and accommodating.

When I say "actually works" I mean that your range hood will suck the smell, odors and grease out of your kitchen. The range hoods here are extremely strong and can suck up a pan lid. The CFMs of the range hood are from 750ish plus. That's 2X or more CFM than the range hoods at your normal big box stores. The range hoods from the big box stores are usually just for style. Apparently this store is the head quarters and I would have to say that the interior of the place definitely looks like a warehouse. They have some models of range hood connected and powered so you can play around and test it. They come in different styles, color, and power but all of them are pretty strong, even the entry level models. Parking is street parking only so it's not many spots. There is no dedicated parking lot. Pricing is on the expensive side, you can get a range hood from a big box store for like 100 dollars, but here it's like 450+. The top of the line models are 650+.

Jesse was accommodating as well on another visit. If you want to avoid a long wait before being shown around, I recommend booking an appointment in advance. The store has an extensive inventory, although the showroom isn't large enough to display a significant portion of it. It appears to cater primarily to a higher-end clientele, with many visitors being interior designers rather than homeowners. As expected, prices tend to be on the higher side. If you know the manufacturer's stock number, you may be able to find some of the same items through online retailers such as Wayfair. However, for large purchases like bathtubs, it's worth considering the delivery experience. Ordering elsewhere may carry a greater risk of delays, logistics issues, or the absence of white-glove delivery services.

John was the first person I spoke with over the phone, and he patiently listened as I explained our unique kitchen layout. To create a more open walkway between our kitchen and living room, we needed an extra tall, narrow 30" x 80" European-style refrigerator. As it turns out, the only freestanding model sold in the U.S. that fit our requirements is made by the German brand Liebherr. The frustrating part was that although other retailers near us offered the refrigerator for sale, none of the showrooms had the model on display. But guess who did? Snyder Diamond! So we made our way to Pasadena, and we're glad we did. Linda warmly welcomed us and immediately took us over to the Liebherr refrigerator. It is beautiful, well built and checked every box on our wish list. Linda was very knowledgeable and generous with her time. We ended up walking around the showroom with her, picking her brain about everything from kitchen fixtures to appliances. When I mentioned I was a coffee addict, she even offered me a cup from their built-in Miele machine--a small gesture that reflected the personal service we received. The showroom itself is beautifully organized, with a huge variety of high-quality appliances and fixtures. We highly recommend anyone planning a kitchen or home renovation to visit this family-owned business. They've been in business for decades, and have an interesting history to share. In the end, being able to see the exact Liebherr model in person gave us the confidence to make our purchase. We're grateful to John and Linda for helping us find the perfect refrigerator for our unique space. Thank you for making what could have been a frustrating search into such an enjoyable experience!

There are several major north-south roads in this area, and Rosemead Boulevard is one of them. San Gabriel Boulevard is another. The road is wide and easy to drive. The nursery is right across the street from Com Tam Kieu Restaurant, one of the better Vietnamese broken rice restaurants in Southern California. On the way there, I passed a construction site, probably a new apartment building. It strongly gave me the impression of an EB-5 green card project, the kind of real estate development marketed less as a normal apartment building and more as an immigration investment package for Chinese buyers. In the middle of the SGV, that feeling was hard to miss. After that came the nursery. I drove from north to south, made a left turn onto a smaller street, and parked outside. The entrance is tiny. You walk through it and immediately reach the counter, where there was even a line. After that, you pass into an indoor room stocked with fertilizers, plant stakes, soil, mulch, and other gardening supplies. Beyond that is the back garden, which is much larger than expected and quite elegant. The plants are clearly well cared for, and the stone sculptures give the place a strong hint of Chinese culture. Along the edge of the main building, there are stacks of Buddha heads, seated Buddhas, and other stone figures, mostly in Chinese Buddhist or imagined Buddhist styles, though not necessarily following any strict traditional standard. There are Chinese signs everywhere, which makes sense for a nursery in the middle of the SGV. Many of the plants have bilingual names. The prices are not cheap, but they are fair. The orchids are much more expensive than what you would find at Trader Joe's or Costco, but they are also more beautiful and much stronger, so I would not call them overpriced. The plants use different colored tags, similar to what you see in many American discount stores. Some are very cost-effective. It is definitely worth stopping by, and even more worth it if you happen to find some good discounted plants. The cashier was a little rude, but as a Chinese person, I found it completely acceptable. I have seen much worse. Even though she was in a rush, the service was not bad. She even gave me an extra bag so the soil would not spill in my car. Overall, this is a good nursery and I would recommend it. It is even better if you understand Chinese culture, because many of the details will make more sense.
