Stir Fried Green Beans - get this
    Scott B.

I'm so glad we tried this place. It brings something new to the area, and it is really good. Nana's is a Colorado chain that has spread to New York, and, randomly, they decided to bring their first non-Colorado location to Eastchester! Thank you, Nana!! So, what's so good about this place? Well, first off, the food is amazing. All of the dumplings we tried were mouthwatering! We also tried a noodle dish and the beef pancake rolls. All great as well! The best dish award goes to the green beans, however. These are a must! Drinks are also good at Nana's, and they feature a full bar. We stuck with wine which was priced affordably. For our visit, we sat at the bar, which was fine because we got to talk to folks around us. I was expecting the rest of the interior to be more intimate, but it was a bit. "hustle and bustle" feeling. Definitely more for families and less for a date night. As for portions, they are a nice size, which is good. But, maybe it's because we always over order. We did, however have leftovers, which was nice. Final Thoughts: We'll definitely be back! You should check it out, too,... just as long as you're not expecting a quiet date night

I ate here yesterday. The soup dumplings were delicious. I had the spicy chicken appetizer and it was good but they used all dark meat and I only like white meat. I think they should state that on the menu and I never would have ordered it. I would have gone with the spicy chili dumplings instead. The place is ascetically nice and warm and the staff is nice. I would go back again.

Yesterday I ordered Pan Fried Pork Buns Purple Yam Buns Shrimp and Pork Dumplings Jumbo Crab Ragoons The crab ragoons: REALLY good, probably the best in new york imho. Very good crab flavor. Definitely a must get. Pan fried Pork Buns: Good, not the best in new york, but still good. The bun is light and airy, not much soup inside, bottom is nice and crispy. Shrimp and Pork Dumplings: Pretty much no shrimp flavor, but was ok tasting. Beef Noodle Soup: Eh, not bad. Broth was a little too salty, beef was ok. Purple yam bun: stunk, avoid it like the plague. The inside was waaaayyyy too sweet. I expected something like ube or taro, but this was like if you mixed red bean paste with super sweet honey and a ton of sugar. Price: definitely on the pricy side Overall: will definitely order from again, those ragoons are too good to pass up. Stick with the buns if possible.

It's great to have a Dim Sum restaurant nearby. I came here on Fri for an early dinner around 5pm and was impressed by the attentive service. I came with my elder relative who has mobile oxygen & the hosts were very kind and accommodating. Plus they had tables with easy outlets for charging and seated us right away. We had Chinese broccoli, chicken & corn dumplings, shrimp dumplings, spicy chicken soup buns & Beef pancake rolls. Everything was lovely. We ended up ordering Chinese broccoli & spicy chicken soup buns to go. I also enjoyed a fragrant cocktail - w/ Japanese vodka & jasmine, it was excellent. I will definitely return. There is free parking, however the lot is busy.

Really nice atmosphere when you first walk in with pretty decor, and a window where you can see the chefs making the dumplings. The dumplings had decent amount of filling and the wrappers had a good chew! My only issue was they didn't have any spicy hot Chinese mustard! I love the Chinese mustard with dumplings. They did have chili oil though...The waitress also gave my son crayons and coloring paper. So it's very kid friendly!

I was overjoyed to hear that Nana's was coming to Westchester, and it definitely is one of the best Chinese food options around. I've done takeout twice, and for the most part, we've been very pleased. The mapo tofu is solid and some of the best I've had in Westchester. I also liked the szechuan chicken, spicy chicken soup buns, and pork thumblings. Unfortunately in trying to be different my second time around, we were a little less enthused. The signature bao were nothing special and not particularly meat-y, and the beef pancake rolls were more lettuce filler than beef. That being said, I'll definitely order from here again! I'd love to stay and eat in.

Driven past this place 100 times in the past year that they have been opened..Finally tried it after seeing great social media reviews and tiktoks....So glad I did!!! I sat at the bar ( as I often do ). First off, the place is absolutely Beautiful!!! Obviously with an Asain vibe..Classical yet modern. I was a little intimidated as I have little experience with Dim Sum and Dumplings..but that was immediately taking care of, as the very first thing the Bartender / Server asked me was if it was my first time there? And went on to explain the menu and the ordering procedures. Started with the Spicy Cucumber Salad..so yummy, Moved on to Chicken and Pork Dumplings ( steamed or fried is your option ), Yummmm ..Then some fantastic veggie Spring Rolls..Delicious and ended my meal with the Best Egg Drop Soup I have ever had. This place is a jackpot find and is instantly on the rotation anytime I find myself in Southern Westchester...I cant wait to bring my Wife! Oh yeah, for reasons im unaware of ( maybe because I was a first timers or a big tipper ) lol, they brought me a yummy frozen Bao dessert which was unexpected and very kind...its texture was very interesting to me as I've never had a dessert of this kind, but it was very tasty. Easy to miss this Fantastic little Gem as it is hidden right in plain sight in the middle of a shopping center ( across the street from the Starbucks ) But, try not to pass this place by..trust me. Enjoy!!!

We've been to Nana's a few times now and it is absolutely delicious every time. We love the decor. It's really lovely inside and very comfortable. It's got a nice atmosphere. The staff is very nice and make great recommendations. There are times when they might get a little bogged down and aren't necessarily the most attentive, but it's clear that they are all working hard. On to the food. We have never done any of the entrees and mostly stick to their dim sum, apps, dumplings, and buns. It's really a place to share food. The food comes out piping hot. Some of the highlights: the crab Rangoon is so good. It's not overly greasy, the filling is so creamy and good and you can really taste the crab. The chili oil braised beef is amazing. The flavor is so good, but that chili oil creeps up on you. It's definitely got a kick once you mix everything well so the chili oil is on everything. My absolutely favorite thing on their menu is the beef pancake roll. It has such a nice balance between the crispy pancake, the tender beef, the fresh and light cucumber and the sauce is so good. The dumplings and buns are the star of the show. The shrimp and pork dumplings and the pork and chive are really good. The signature bao are so fluffy. I loved them. The soup dumplings are really the star, but they come out so hot, it's hard to wait to eat them and I have definitely burned my mouth more than once on them. Also, just about every picture I took is after we've already eaten a piece or two because we're terrible at waiting. Overall, the food is amazing. The price point is good. It's totally worth a visit and it is a definite repeat for us.

Yuummm! I first found and had Nana's in Denver such a treat that their first east coast location is in Scarsdale! The food tasted just as good as their other locations, love the consistency! The soup dumplings are amazing. Severed up hot and steaming and filled with a delicious broth and filling. We couldn't just get one order... The sweet rice shu mai was so tender and the rice was delicious. The duck spring roll is filled with the perfect balance of tender duck and cucumber crunchy. A little messy as you bite in but well worth it! Service is really quick and someone is always around to clear plates, fill water or order seconds... Highly recommend if you're a dim sum fan or giving it a try for the first time.

This place did not disappoint at all ! The decor was so cute ! They also had a window displaying a dumpling making station so you can see the chefs prepare the dumplings. The crab rangoons were the best rangoons I've ever had !! They were filled with rich cream cheese and crab and paired with a delicious sweet and spicy sauce. We tired the pork and mushroom dumplings which also did not disappoint. The shrimp dumplings were also so good !! The pork pan seared buns were not my favorite, I tried them to try something new but next time I will stick with the steamed buns. I think if you like a little crunch with your buns then you would love it ! Our wait staff were super attentive and friendly. I can't wait to go back and try more things off the menu !

I was first alerted to Nana's by one of my friends - her and her husband had recently dined here and had good things to say. I checked out their Yelp and saw they had high reviews with some tasty looking photos. As I'm always looking for new spots to try, I put this place on my radar to check out. Since I was looking for dinner the other night, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to give Nana's a try, so off I went. I did a little research before making my way over and learned that Nana's has several locations - most of them are in Colorado and this one in Scarsdale is their first one on the East coast. I noticed they offered takeout and since I didn't feel like dining in I decided to order online and pick up. I did get a peek at the interior though - it's a decently-sized restaurant that's modestly decorated. It was absolutely packed when I arrived so I think I made the right choice to get takeout. As it's located in a strip mall on White Plains Rd in Scarsdale, parking is readily available in the shared lot. The menu is not as expansive as a traditional Asian restaurant - they focus on buns and dumplings, rice, and noodles with a small selection of soup and some apps. I decided to get the pan-fried "thumblings" and lo mein. The thumblings were essentially mini pork dumplings - they were quite flavorful and came with three sauces; two of them were soy sauces and the other looked like a chili-based one that had some spice. They complemented the dumplings well. I was a little hesitant with the lo mein at first as the color seemed blander than other ones I've tried - however, the flavor was there. They offer several proteins and I decided to get chicken; the portion size of the protein was adequate and all the components complemented each other. I also found myself utilizing the remaining chili oil to augment the flavor, though it's not totally necessary. Pickup was efficient, my order was ready at the time specified. Overall, I was impressed with my first Nana's experience - the food was tasty and I definitely want to return to try more of their menu. It's a welcome addition to the dining scene in lower Westchester.

This is my first time eating at this Chinese restaurant. I ordered a Lychee Green tea drink Iced. It was sweet yet refreshing. I came here for a light lunch around 11:30am on a weekday. This restaurant is located in a strip mall in Eastchester with plenty of free parking. There are no lunch specials. It is the same price for lunch and dinner. In this case I suggest coming for dinner because their prices are not Chinese take out prices. You are paying for the quality of the food. My scallion roll pancake tasted fresh. It was flaky and chewy. The beef was perfectly seasoned not too salty. It did cost me $16.00. I don't remember the price of my Lychee drink but it was tasty. I will be back to try their soup dumplings very soon. Service from the hostess to my server as well as the bartender was great! I felt welcomed and appreciated as a customer. The atmosphere is comfortable and uniquely decorated with the traditional upscale Chinese interior theme. It was clean and organized. I highly suggest trying this place and let me know if you liked it as much as I did!

Food was fantastic, vibe was inviting, prices were fair. Service was complimentary, so it felt like every waiter helped out to take care of customer. 5/5 recommend this place Chili oil was packed with flavor, not spicy Dumpling sauce was delicious. Would have liked to have fresh ginger available to add to the dumpling sauce Spicy cucumber salad Cucumbers served cold, not spicy, I enjoyed adding chili oil to them. Perfect compliment to help fill up your belly with something more healthy as you devour everything else on the menu Black bean spare ribs Didn't love this, tiny meat pieces with little bones. Lacking in black bean flavor for me, Felt like more trouble than it was worth. Pan fried pork buns Delicious, will order everytime. Loved the hard crust on the bottom Xiao long soup buns Delicious will order everytime Signature bao Pork filling inside Delicious!!! Will order 2 everytime Chive and pork dumplings Delicious!!!! Will order everytime Spicy cabbage dumplings Very tasty, didn't get much cabbage. Tasted like the inside of a spring roll Chicken udon Good but for me not the reason to go Mapo tofu Good but for me not the reason to go Restaurant is inside of a shopping center so there is ample parking

The food wasn't bad--it was simply mediocre and underwhelming. The biggest issue was that several dishes were underseasoned and lacked the bold flavors I expect from a good Cantonese restaurant. The steamed spare ribs and beef chow fun were okay but nothing memorable. The vinegar came in a dropper which seems ingenious - much easier than dipping. The chicken and broccoli was also very tasty. The chicken was soft and nicely velveted, and the portions were generous. The mapo tofu was okay -- a little saltier than expected -- but still good when eaten with the rice. The brown rice itself was slightly on the hard side. Service was very good. Our server, a young man, was attentive without being overbearing, which we appreciated. One thing to note: parking can be tricky since it's all street parking and there are a lot of nearby shops.
