We have defaulted to the Salad and Go location in Plano at 15th and Coit for a number of years. However since we were closer to Carrollton/Frisco we came to this location. They have elevated the Salad and Go experience and have delivered the same product if not better than the aforementioned location. Service is wonderful with a down to earth vibe and you can tell the staff here cares a whole lot about the customers. Big kudos for being fast, efficient and delicious! read more

Oh Salad and Go, you have my heart! Why aren't cheaper salads on the go a thing everywhere? I just not get it. Salad and Go was our go to when we lived in TX but sadly they don't have them in CO. Most recently while in TX, we whipped in here on the way to see family and was stoked they still have amazing deals and some fun additions! Staff was friendly and speedy, we paid then our food was handed to us on the spot, they are freaky fast!! I love how quickly everything is made. You never have to wait in line long! The salads are big and affordable for the amount of food you're getting. They have their calories listed (although as a side note, it's just the calories for the salad without protein or dressing), and none of the salads are deceptively high in calories like other salad places. The works are always friendly. A good stop if you're looking for a light and fresh lunch/dinner option. They also have very affordable breakfast items, but I have admittedly not tried those yet. read more

Debated on even writing this review but after throwing up for the second time tonight I decided I should. I have now gotten sick to my stomach on two separate occasions from this location. Everything looked and tasted fine and the staff was super sweet but after a few hours I got very sick. I didn't eat anything else so it was certainly that. I also agree with other reviewers, they skimp on up charged items. If you ask for avocado you get 2 slivers, so ask for double if you want more than 1/5th of the whole avocado. Only complaint is the 2 lane drive thru... I ordered and was patiently waiting for a van to pull forward. A young lady pulls up in the second lane, looks over and orders after me. I started to get in to the line as I was clearly next but she quickly pulled up in front of me and angrily threw her hand up in the air to tell me to Stop and proceeded to block me and go ahead of me so I remained unable to move. This is not my first visit with this location where they've either messed up the order, or didn't provide sauce for the breakfast bowl. The food is otherwise dry without the sauce. I asked for spicy adobo and they came back with Caesar dressing and had salsa in the bag. Also the total for my order was not correctly rung up, therefore I received inaccurate change and I gave a specific cash amount to get back a specific cash amount. read more

Although I prefer flavor in a Mediterranean bowl and more chicken (this salad may have had 5 or 6 bite sized pieces), and a tad more feta cheese as well as the taste of all the ingredients in my well shaken or stirred cold brew including the creaminess of oat milk with a tad of sugar free vanilla what is there to complain about when the salad has fresh ingredients and cost is not higher than $6 and drinks are under $2. I will not order this salad again. I will likely try another salad because the ingredients were fresh, below market price, and some of my family members like it. 2-2022. December was our first time ordering and we've been back so many times I can't even count. The seasonal brussel sprouts salad was a favorite and hopefully it comes back. Greek and Cobb salads are our favs now. Everything we've ordered so far has been super delicious. Chicken chicken chicken is our go to protein. Would be nice if there was an option to have the chicken hot (not spicy) just warmed up. Prices are unbeatable, portions are large, the salads could be split into two servings. Super fresh ingredients, dressings on the side. They have many dressing options to choose from. The containers are great too. Perfect for shaking everything up. Tonight I ordered a salad for my lunch tomorrow and the Cesar wrap w/chicken for dinner tonight. The wrap wasn't cut in half but no biggie, I substituted avocado for the Parmesan and no tomatoes or croutons. I loved the wrap, the dressing was evenly coated and not just poured on. I'm not sure if they toss it before making the wrap but it tasted that way. Very good. I used the app for the first time to order. It is simple to use, and super easy to make changes/edits to the items. Drinks: The sangria lemonade is tasty, but the cucumber mint lemonade is my favorite. Priced at $1 for 24oz try them all. I sucked up some of the mint particles the first time and it was not fun. Now I strain the mint particles from the drink when I get home and all is delicious. I appreciate that they ask if you need plasticware and napkins. If I'm headed home and have those items. Less waste. We will continue to enjoy this great spot so close to home. I'm not really a salad as a meal kind of girl, but I had a rare taste for one and I'd heard good things about SAG so I came here and decided on the ceasar salad, no protein, add eggs with extra ceasar dressing. I've had better salads. The salad was pretty basic in appearance and basic in taste. There were more brown pieces of lettuce in the salad than I appreciated and they only added 1 egg to my salad. I had never tried Salad and Go myself even though we had one within 2 min of our old house in Dallas. My boyfriend had been there and said it wasn't good at all. We primarily eat healthy and I've always said I wish there was a healthy alternative to drive thru's. Recently he picked up some salads from this location and we were both satisfied with them. This week I decided to pick up some lunch for us. He asked for a salad and I went with a wrap (against his recommendation because at the previous location he had such a bad experience). I was excited to see this new addition to Carrollton. I didn't have high expectations because of the affordable prices , but I was pleasantly surprised! The salads were wonderful! I ordered the BBQ chicken salad and purchased a buffalo chicken salad for my daughter. The lettuce was spring mix and not iceberg. That was the first plus. The greens were fresh and not wilted or watery. Plenty of additional toppings come with the order in a nice size bowl, making for a filling salad for either lunch or dinner. I've been there twice and both times was excellent. You get a big bowl of salad with good quality protein(chicken). They are super smart to serve the dressing on the side. When I get home I add the dressing reseal the bowl and shake it up. I have tried the Thai chicken salad with no modifications. Everything was fresh and the dressing had a kick. The salads are so good! Epic portions! Im so satisfied every time. I don't know how they do them so cheap in this stupid economy but I will be so sad if they ever change their prices! The past two times I've been there though I got the Cobb wrap with chicken, and both times all of the dressing, cheese, and avocado were lumped together at the bottom of the wrap. All of the other ingredients were dry and without any flavor, while the bottom of the wrap was inedible because it consisted of just dressing and blue cheese. Probably won't go back. read more

I think I've tried all their salads and their breakfast burritos and I have to say for the price you get a ton of food. Salads are definitely TX sized and can feed 2 easily. They are always fresh and crisp too. My favorite is the Brussel Sprout Ceasar and I don't even like Brussel Sprouts. For breakfast get the traditional burrito and you get a Chipotle sized burrito for 3 bucks. My wife and I can eat together and get our fill and drinks for less than 15 bucks. I hope this place stays in business cause I've become a regular. It's awesome to get a healthy option in a drive through and not have to pay an arm and leg for a quality meal. read more
