Just had an epic sandwich at Snarf's and I have to say, it was one of the BEST IN MY LIFE! Okay, I am no stranger to Snarf's, I had it once in Colorado. More about that later, but knowing they are expanding into the Texas market, it was something I had been wanting to experience again. This location is only three miles from my house, so while it's technically located in Richardson, Far North Dallas peeps can add this into their rotation. It's at the corner of Coit and Campbell, a Mecca of food options, so shopping center is probably already be on your radar if you live in the area. Before I placed my order, I downloaded the Snarf's app. It's well designed and allowed me to study the menu and ultimately customize my order exactly how I wanted it. There is also a $5 off coupon for a $10 spend- NYICE! I ordered the Smoked BBQ Brisket with Swiss Cheese Specialty Sandwich. Everything about this sandwich was top notch. First, the bread was fresh and toasty. I opted for white and it was perfect. The brisket was tender and had caramelized pieces of BBQ glaze that really propelled this sandwich to next level. I got it with lettuce, tomatoes, oil, seasoning and mayo- I passed on the peppers, pickles and mustard. It was sensational! The mayo was super creamy and all the components of the sandwich were delicious. I would not have changed a thing! The service was fast, seeing as it was a to go order placed on the app. I went to the pickup area and my order was ready. It took all of about 30 seconds. Okay, back to my Snarf's origin story. I was in Colorado staying with some friends and we all ordered Snarf's before a hike. It was good stuff! Then, later on during the trip when we hiked up Boulder Mountain, we were all admiring the view at the top. It was a beautiful day and lots of people were having fun. I saw another group of hikers make it to the top and I overheard one of them say "Vámonos to Snarf's!" It was such a perfect line, and having just had their sandwiches for the first time a few days prior, I totally thought that was an awesome thing to say when reaching the top of a hike. So, yeah- now I say that all over the world after completing a grueling hike- like Lion's Head in Cape Town or Mt. Fitzroy in Argentina, amongst others. It's tongue in cheek because there's not a Snarf's within thousands of miles, but it takes me back to that lovely hike on Boulder Mountain. But now, that there's a Snarf's (multiple ones) in DFW, I can say it and actually mean it. Oh, and last but not least, when you place an order, they give you a flyer in the bag where you can take a picture of your meal, and they donate a meal to a local food shelter. You scan a QR code and follow the directions of the gift a meal platform. It's really nice to know that Snarf's instituted this program as a way to help combat food insecurity. Five stars all around for Snarf's. I'm so glad you're here and I cannot wait to try more of your sandwiches after hikes...Vámonos to Snarf's!!! read more

I am a supporter of any place who tries to help and support those who are food insecure. Snarfs sandwich is just that place. This sandwich shop originated in Boulder Colorado many years ago, and has found its way to Richardson, Texas a few weeks ago. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to help you get your order taken. When asking about suggestions, as this was my first time here, without hesitation my questions were answered and I was directed to the right sandwich for my taste. I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan and it was really good! I also got their homemade potato salad and it reminded me of mom's potato salad - I loved it. My mom grew up in Colorado, so maybe I already had a bias to their food. The place is simple in decorations, with bold colors on their walls and one a few pictures, but this didn't bother me any. We ordered to go and as we were waiting two separate customers had come in and notified the staff that their orders picked up earlier were incorrect. Staff was quick to help and remedy. We got home and unfortunately our orders were also incorrect. I ordered an Italian sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes and hot peppers and opened to see literally just roast beef on bread. My boyfriend's order was mostly right, he ordered roast beef with toppings and he received cheesesteak-type meat but otherwise correct toppings. We ended up splitting his but unsure if it was worth the $17 price tag. Really unfortunate and ultimately didn't feel worth the 15 min drive to ask for a redo. Bummed because I was excited for this place but since it's newer maybe they'll be able to work out the kinks. read more

First time and it was good! Knocking off a star because I found a hair in the wrapper of my sandwich (not inside the sandwich). It was a busy Saturday afternoon and I did not want to wait another 10-15 minutes. The sandwich reminded me of Potbelly, a little more elevated. I really enjoyed my Italian sub at another location and was happy to see they opened one down the street, unfortunately this location came up short. They had the typical Snarfs decor in the restaurant. The service was typical of the other locations but the Italian sub I received here was awful. It was super wet with an extreme amount of sauce on it. The prosciutto had a a half dollar size gristle spot in it that I had to cut out. read more

I saw the turkey and Swiss had a perfect customer rating, so even though I'm not a huge Swiss cheese person, I decided to order it just as is with everything on it. Good gah it was delicious. Watch out toasted sub places, their is a new kid in town! Snarf Sandwiches just opened up at Coit & Campbell in Richardson and it's a game changer. These are among the best I have had in the toasted sub category. Mark, the gentleman helping us,was the perfect guide for our first visit. He patiently guided us to our selections and in my case that was the Super Club. Basically, it's ham, turkey,double bacon and cheese. It was delightful! The ambiance could use a little personality, but it's not terrible. It's just a little boring for a restaurant serving subs with so much personality. Also notable is that this is a place that gives back to the community. They have a food drive going that has a box for donations. They also have a program where you can scan your qt code from your order and they donate food to the North Texas Food Bank. Good folks helping out other good folks! The food was fine, but I was disappointed after reading the reviews. The bread honestly seemed a bit stale, which I was surprised about. Also, I was disappointed in the quantity of the soup, which was not cheap at $5.75. It came in a container that would normally be for a dipping sauce. The Italian sandwich is ridiculously good--packed tight with quality meat and toppings that actually do something instead of just taking up space. YUM! I love a good sandwich and Snarf's makes GREAT ones. The husband I both had the Italian with all the toppings. It was delicious from the first bite to the last! The 7inch seems huge and while I ate the entire thing, I didn't feel overfull later so it's perfect if you're HUNGRY but don't want to feel like death afterwards. The bread is nicely toasted and on the thinner side with plenty of toppings. We also ordered 2 cups of the cream of jalapeño soup. It came out piping hot and had decent flavor. Ordered two different sandwiches and was given one large sandwich with just lettuce and tomato. I even asked if both sandwiches were in the packaging and was told "yes." The same guy who took my order made the sandwich. The last time I came, I ordered online and it took nearly 45 minutes for them to get me the order. Tried Snarf's today and placed a to-go order. The service did take longer than expected, but it seemed like one way to avoid that was to place your order online. I got the chicken salad and provolone sandwich. It was really good, and I would definitely go back to get it again. I ordered the chicken poblano soup, and was disappointed to find I had been given broccoli cheddar instead. I'm not really a broccoli cheddar fan, so I can't speak to how tasty it was.
