Exactly where the wrap belongs, right in the trash !

Attention all local lunchers ! This place has gone steadily down hill. Prices are high, delivery is SLOW, and food is amungst the worst quality I've had in quite some time. Today was the icing on the cake, I ordered a grilled chicken wrap with bacon & here was the breakdown : 1. I think the grilled chicken was cooked last month, it was so dry it nearly got lodged in my throat. 2. The tomato's were last weeks leftovers, super slimy and the skin was starting to peel off. 3. Multiple pieces of the lettuce were wilted and brown. 4. Bacon.... What bacon it was almost non existent and it was bits not even full strips ! 5. The wrap was the only thing that seemed to even be remotely fresh. 6. The chips it came with were soggy and stale. Ohh.... I also nearly forgot that I ordered chips and guacamole and got a response back that avacados were $2.00 each right now and that they refused to pay for them ! What kind of place does that.

Went there for first time despite the reviews. Service was friendly place looked clean and food looked and tasted fresh. I ordered a simple slit salad with tuna. I gave 4 stars just because it was a simple salad and not an omg salad but still go

Shrimp Shack salad. GF tortilla straws made from corn. Not a fan of the salsa but rest of salad was good.

First time here and we ate in. Lots of tables inside and they have a patio outside for warm weather dining. You order at the counter. Suggestion when you walk in they have menus at the counter to your left. I saw many take one and check off what they wanted which makes it easier to order quickly if there is a line. I had the shrimp Shack which had a salsa on it that I thought wasn't fresh tasting, really didn't like how the tomatoes tasted in it. I liked the seasoning on the shrimp. Everything else in my salad was very good. Order the dressing on the side. My friend had the chicken Caesar wrap which was very good but they thought it needed extra dressing. Compared to Panera bread....this place is more expensive and you get less. Two of us are here today.....For same price 3 of us are at Panera with soup, comparable meals for $1 more. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I'm pretty torn by salad shack. I have had pretty good experiences here, like last night and I have had terrible experiences multiple times. So I'll merge my overall interaction. Like anywhere service is luck of the draw sometimes. Last night I was welcomed and helped by a smiling, happy associate who made suggestions and was polite as can be. Several times the exact opposite was true, which kept me away for a bit. I had the turkey, bacon, lettuce, avocado salad and my wife had one wife apples and blue cheese. We both enjoyed our meal, the flavors were good and it was a perfectly acceptable meal. The dining room was empty and no one else came in in to 45 minutes we were there. It was very cold I thought which I don't usually think, so my wife was freezing. The place is sadly overpriced. I tried to rationalize it being like Panera with decent size salads, but, the more I thought about it, the more I realized this places sells itself as a step up from Panera and that is only true in its prices. $30 for 2 people sounds more like a decent restaurant or at least reasonable entrees at a good diner. If this place were cheaper I'd give it 4*s for delivering on a price point. As it is come ready to spend.

I would say the food is very comparable to Salad Works. It's good for a salad shop. I like the dressing options.

I would say the food is very comparable to Salad Works. It's good for a salad shop. I was impressed by the seating and that there is nice outdoor seating available but on a hot day it feels very stuffy inside here. If you're really into salads you won't be impressed but I would definitely come back but wouldn't go out of my way. Food was fresh and I love how their menu is setup. Pricing seemed accurate.

The restaurant wasn't crowded but was definitely more full than I would expect at that hour. The entrance gave very Miami vibes with the palm trees, string lights, and faux grass. We opted to sit outside and were glad we did, they have a very long dock with plenty of seating where you get to view the marina. You are definitely paying for the ambiance and the ability to smell the fresh ocean breeze. We decided to order cocktails and a bunch of apps to share. I was disappointed to find out that they ran out of the liquor they needed for the Lychee Beach cocktail. I hope they were able to restock before the dinner crowd. We got a dozen of the beach blondies which were very fresh and tasted of the ocean in a good way. You could tell the calamari was not frozen and fried fresh as it was crispy with the perfect amount of breading. The Korean BBQ wings tasted more like regular BBQ sauce and the crab cake was a bit on the small side. They did not skimp on the mushrooms on the mushroom flatbread pizza, which I feel like is hard to find. The main reason I took off a star is because service was slow and it was because our server was taking a break while we were dining. Let me be real, there is nothing wrong with taking a break but at least get another server to sub in. We could visibly see her standing to the side eating her lunch as we dined.

The menu was large and we had two options as part of a food tour I was on. I was able to try the scarpariello wings and boardwalk pizza. The wings were wood-fired with their special blend of seasoning and sauce along with cherry peppers. These were really tasty. The wings were a good size and the chicken fell right off the bone. The sauce had a slight kick to it with the cherry peppers present. The wood aspect of this dish was very noticeable too. The boardwalk pizza had house-made chorizo sausage, green pepper, onion, parmesan, Pomodoro, oregano, and red pepper flakes. This was alright. The crust was a little underdone for me, so it was a little flabby. The chorizo was the best part. I feel like jalapenos would have been a better choice of pepper here. The sauce was light and appetizing too. I also had a piece of bread that came out warm and paired nicely with the sauce from the wings. I was glad bread was provided to soak up that sauce! Will I go back? Probably.

If you're a seafood lover, I recommend starting off with the charred octopus or the shrimp fritters. The octopus was tender, smoky and perfectly charred. The shrimp fritters were golden and crispy filled with delicious, juicy shrimp. You also have to try the spicy tuna hand roll. Fresh, silky tuna with a kick of spice, perfectly wrapped in crisp seaweed--this hand roll is a must for sushi lovers. The dry aged cowboy ribeye steak was unbelievable. With every mouthwatering bite I found myself just wanting more. It was honestly one of the best steaks I've ever had. The golden, buttery scallops melted in my mouth with every bite, paired with ultra-creamy goat cheese polenta for the ultimate indulgence. An irresistible dance of flavors made for sharing. We topped off the night with this decadent, warm brownie crowned with silky ice cream--an intimate finish that's both rich and irresistibly smooth. I cannot confirm nor deny that we finished the whole skillet. Service was very attentive and friendly and the atmosphere is upscale and sleek. This is a great place for an intimate date night, classy girls night out, or sophisticated celebration.

There were very few diners inside and hardly any employees around, yet our waiter barely stopped by our table. He never even checked to see if anyone wanted another drink. The food was incredibly disappointing. We ordered the salmon--which comes with shaved fennel, smashed potato, and a lemon and mustard seed vinaigrette--along with a few other items. Every single main dish, including both the salmon and the scallops, was severely overcooked, completely dry, and lacked any real flavor. We also tried the filet sandwich, but it was mostly just a mountain of bread wrapped around a tiny, sparse amount of meat. For the price and the setting, the execution just isn't there. We won't be returning.

It is a lovely place run by lovely attentive volunteers. The whole backstory and the good they are doing goes beyond what the food tastes like. The restaurant asks for food donations (suggested $30 per person) for a 3 course meal but if you can't afford to pay you can volunteer some time for your food as well. So several tables are filled with homeless men and women who were also dining there. The appetizer and entree were tasty but the dessert (a chocolate brownie) was a bit hard and stale. Overall it was a wonderful experience that everyone should go to at least once.
