I came in here during the worst time a saturday afternoon in the middle of the shopping rush hour. But Tino at the front of the line eased my mind and was quite efficient and quick with his explanation on "how to order". Wish he could have spread his magic on the rest of the line ladies fore they were not quite as friendly and looked like they didn't want to be there. No smiles or small conversation as the long line kept growing and not moving. Looks like they were the middle of a shift change maybe? I am making excuses because I really wanted to LOVE this place but quite frankly I just LIKED It. All ingredients are fresh and freshly cut. Nothing was awful about my salad. If you are trying to eat on the healthy side and hate paying an arm and a leg for a fresh healthy meal, then this is the place for you. Everything is so fresh. The staff is very friendly. They have an abundance of ingredients to add to your wrap or salad, so there is something for everyone here! This place really puts the salad stop to shame. They even have a good selection of meat and seafood to add. The portions are a good size and they don't weigh your selections , so you have unlimited opportunity to creat your personalized salad or wrap. I'm excited to come back. My favorite place to eat!!!!!! I am obsessed with the set up here and the food is delicious! Everything is so fresh!! The only reason I give it 3 stars is because this Frisco location has awful service. Unfortunately, this is the closet location to my job otherwise I'd happily always be at the Addison location. The staff only makes eye contact when you ask for extra toppings to stare you down. It's a very unpleasant experience to be in this store, but once again, the food is worth it!!! read more

Other reviewers are spot-on when they say that you only get the TINIEST bit of toppings on your salad here at the Frisco location. You do wind up with a big, expensive bowl of greens and only a bit of other food in your salad. This left me hungry not long after eating my salad. Having frequented the Addison and Plano Salata's many times, I can say that today's experience at the Frisco location was the worst. The Frisco location is by far the most miserly when it comes to adding the toppings. The servers there just got a pinch of the topping - and OFTEN part of it went back in the bin and not on my salad. It's too bad because the greens (and tiny bit of toppings) you get are fresh and flavorful. I'm disappointed and now looking for a second lunch. :-( read more

We eat at various Salata locations and have never had the experience we did here. Every ingredient we asked to be included was added in minuscule quantities and if we asked for more, we got attitude. EVERYONE in line was asking for more to be added. Someone asked for grapes for her large salad and was given 3 halves. She asked for more and was given 2 more halves. When given a few crumbles of egg, I asked for more and the lady put in a few more crumbles then threw the spoon back in the egg container and shoved my salad down to the next person with a huff. When finished, we all basically had bowls of....lettuce. This has to be management decision. No other Salata has ever been this way. read more

Very cool concept. You select salad or wrap and then go through the line and select your protein, ingredients and dressing. Salads come with a choice of bread and the wraps come with baked potato chips. They also have a selection of soups on hand. What I especially liked was the various options of tea. Tried this place out for dinner one night. They have specialty salads you can order or you can walk through the line and grunt and point at stuff you want thrown into your bowl. Everything seems fresh and they have a lot of variety. They also have bread and soup. Prices are good and we were really happy. My recommendation is get the large bowl. I got the small one and it wasn't quite enough. I am a 1 percenter when it comes to eating though, so you normal people might be okay with the smaller one. read more

My husband went to Salata in Irving, loved it and was obsessed with me trying it. After a few failed attempts (because they were closed) I finally gave in. I hate going to stonebriar and hate it even more on a weekend so we decided to order it for pickup (25 minutes was the pickup time). We got there and it was bright and clean and there were probably 10 people in line. They had 3 or 4 people working on the salads and no one at the pickup counter. We were there a few minutes early so we just stood there and didn't say anything. As they kept making salads for the people in line it became pretty obvious that we weren't a priority. They continued with the line as it pretty consistent with around 5-10 people and we continued to wait and watch them help person after person while they ignored us all together. It took over 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were standing there (she asked are you here for a online pickup) before she went back to helping people in the line. Finally a guy came from the kitchen and asked if we had been helped. He then went looking for the order which hadn't been touched (30 minutes to make a salad????) about half way thru making the salads he went back to the kitchen (seriously it's a salad- all the stuff is right there it should be a 2 minute process at most-at least that's about the time it took for all 20 people they helped before us). He comes back with like 10 pair of tongs, finished the salads, dropped them by the cashier and went back into the back. Don't get me wrong I appreciate that he at least tried to help which is clearly more than the other 4 girls did but the salads were bad, inaccurate and not at all worth the money or time and my poor husband had to listen to me complain the entire way home. All that said we'll make our salads at home next time. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and I finally did! I loved it. It was my first time and I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted so I just kind of put random stuff in it.. But it was really good! Reasonably priced!! Only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars was because the complimentary bread that came with the salad? Overall experience was pretty cool, I like the idea of "chipotle" for a salad bar. Although...... the portion sizing were very very small. I asked for a scoop of different toppings and they gave me like one. Then I would ask for more and they kind of rolled their eyes at me. My second visit this week!! The most delicious salad ever!!!!! Freshest vegetables and greens and wide variety of choice ingredients to make my dinner so delicious and satisfying A shoutout to Massih who gave me the most incredible customer service along with Alex and Mary. Not only did I have The most satisfying meal ever , these individuals greeted me and were so eager to please me in selecting my ingredients and making sure I had a great experience! The atmosphere is so happy and made my meal taste that much better :-) This location is a winner and now my new spot! Incredibly healthy and delicious food and what a bonus on top coming into an establishment where there are such happy employees. They remembered me from the other day and treated me like I was their only customer ! I am leaving now and only satisfied from my meal but in such a great mood ! This location is very frustrating. The employees have been told to skimp on the ingredients. They seem to go up the bowl with greens and then have hard time with putting enough of that you ask for. The more items to put on, the less quantity of each ingredient. It seems to come from the owner. Protein is extra and not worth it in my option. Vegetarian protein is same price as meat. The kids wrap is now gone and kids salad is a very bad deal. They give you 5 items for six dollars. What rip off. The restaurant is kept clean and the guy doing the cleaning and picking up after people was very friendly. He seems to care more then the owner. First time here but the line gave me a good feeling about the food. There is a wide selection of greens to start. Then many choices from tomatoes to bean sprouts, mushrooms, hard boiled egg and much more. Once you have selected your vegetables you can add a protien. The herbed crab was great. Two sizes to choose from, I found the small salad perfect for lunch. The staff was helpful and friendly and the line moved along quickly. I was craving a big delicious salad and then happened upon Salata. I have to say, I wasn't impressed. I am grateful I could get a nice salad, but it wasn't organic and I ended up paying $14 for a vegan salad after they upcharged me for the avocado, artichoke hearts, and falafel. Also, I don't think they filter their water and they have painted plastic forks! What!?! I still give it 3 stars because I think there should be more places you can get a good salad, but I'd love to see them really become "next generation" by going organic, filtering their water, and getting some real forks. read more

Updated review: I ended up coming back today. This time the manager was working the line. Helped the speed that's for sure. I also got the Total down to $10 by going with the small salad w/shrimp and a cup for water. I increased my rating by 1star. 1st review: I used my stopwatch on my iPhone. It took 16 almost 17 minutes to buy a salad and an iced tea for 15$!!!!! You've got to be kidding me. Next time I don't have time to make my lunch, I'll drive to Kroger and make on me myself. It would have been faster even though it's farther. Most of the staff making the salads were functioning at the same speed as a herd of turtles. If the place would hire people for speed, it would help. Otherwise, this is nuts and I'm never going back. I could have harvested the lettuce and tomatoes myself, driven it to their store, and made a salad faster than it took the person to put tomatoes on my plate. read more

This place is fantastic!!! Toppings like grilled salmon, shrimp, chicken and so much more. The toppings are always fresh & crisp and what a selection. Every topping you can think of and then some. Whoever came up with this concept is my hero. I could eat there every day and never feel like I ate the same dish twice. Their prices are fantastic. It's more than just a salad place, they create hot wraps too. It's a place that serves really healthy well prepared meals the way you like it. The service is excellent.
