1/2 Club sandwich & tortilla soup

A friend and I met here for lunch today. I have been to this location many times and it is consistently good, but the other person had never been to any Lazy Dog restaurants. She was bowled over when the manager brought her over fresh chips to try for free. FOOD: I had the lunch special--half a grilled cheese, tortilla soup and pickled cucumbers. It was outstanding. ATMOSPHERE: Not too busy today but great place for a quick bite or celebration. SERVICE: Our waitress could not have been better! She told us her name (and since I didn't pay) I forgot her name. (Sorry!) TIP: You can bring your dog here and they have a menu for them too. Also, the desserts are great!

Stopped by for lunch and couldn't decide what to have so I nabbed the blue burger and it was great! Super juicy and just the right amount of blue cheese and toppings. Nothing to go home to about the fries just normal frozen fries but it hit the spot. Our waitress was great and timely with the refills and we pick a great time after the lunch rush so didn't have to wait. Will come back to try a beer next time bc they had a good selection it looked like too.

Had brunch on Sunday with our best friends. The service is consistently excellent and fast! I highly recommend going right after church, this place is greatness. The layout keeps things quiet as well, so you can eat and talk in peace...you can even go outside on the pretty days!

A very good restaurant & a nice experience. The food was delicious, the ambiance was very pleasant & it was clean & inviting. The staff was very very helpful and pleasant. Now, I understand its call Lazy Dog & is dog friendly. But, it looses out on the commotion caused by dogs(many, I'd guess 10 to 12 in the outdoor seating area) and there was a lot of barking, growling, whining, & yelping that was off putting when your out with family for a good meal. One large dog licked my 1.5year old grand daughter (was a very nice dog, but it shouldn't have happened)

The food was amazing and the service was even better! The restaurant was very clean and the waitress was knowledgeable on the menu and very friendly. There was no wait to be seated, and our food came out almost immediately. This place is highly recommended.

I've been to other Lazy Dog locations for dinner but this was my first time for brunch, and it was a pretty mediocre experience when it came to the food. The overall menu is very extensive with items ranging from burgers to sandwiches to Asian-inspired bowls and more. On top of their regular menu, they also have a brunch menu that is served until 2pm, so both my fiance and I ordered brunch dishes (as I'm a HUGE fan of breakfast foods). I got the lumberjack pancake tacos which were solid. It's a unique take on regular tacos in that the tortillas get replaced by pancakes enclosing a breakfast filling (bacon, fried egg, cheese, and potatoes). The dish comes with a side of tater tots and a cajun gravy sauce. The pancake tacos were a bit hard to eat like regular tacos so I ended up just using fork & knife which worked out great. I enjoyed the cajun gravy as well and really liked the overall mix of flavors and textures! My fiance got the breakfast club which was a big miss... He described it as an avocado & egg biscuit sandwich because there was barely any bacon to be found, and what little bacon there was looked more like bacon bits as opposed to actual bacon strips. Definitely not worth the price.

My wife & I enjoyed our dinner here. Drinks were good - the elderflower lemonade spritz was light and refreshing, and I enjoyed my Lazy Dog blonde beer. Food wise all we tried was good. The cauliflower ceviche was tangy and slightly citrusy, and the ribeye bibimbap was moist and flavor-packed with a little bite to it. The standout was the chicken lettuce wraps though. Great service at our bar area hightop. They also have a good happy twice daily.

Food was ok. Nothing amazing. There are a few options that can be made vegan. I had the tofu bowl and it was pretty good. Our server was friendly and helped with some vegan options. The restaurant itself is casual, great for groups or just having drinks!

The food here is always good. Service is good. Love the way they decorated inside. Just seems homey in a mountain lodge sort of way. Lunch specials are a great value as well. I recommend the seasonal cheesecake for dessert.

Lazy Dog - I LOVE YOU!!! Okay so after driving past this location for a million years, I finally had the chance to visit. My friend has a new puppy that she wanted to bring along to dinner, so I was looking for dog friendly options in our area and this was obviously a winner! Everything about our visit was FANTASTIC. First of all, everyone was SO NICE! From the servers to management to the other people who were dining on the patio, everyone we came into contact with was so kind and so excited to pet my friends' adorable pup who was hiding under our table lol. Upon realizing that it was our first time at Lazy Dog, the manager came and brought us a complimentary order of house-made chips and they were DELICIOUS!! It was such a sweet and unexpected gesture and so appreciated!! For our entrees, I went with the BBQ Ranch Bacon Burger with the cajun fries, and my friend got the Thai Noodles. Both were fantastic and PACKED with flavor! The cajun fries were some of the best/most unique fries I've ever had! The seasoning blend on them is SENSATIONAL!! This was such an unexpectedly fantastic experience and I can't wait to come back!

Had an amazing experience at Lazy Dog. The Tuna Crispy rice was delicious and the Cowboy rib eye burger had some great flavor! My family enjoyed their time here! The service was also amazing, our waitress Savanah took great care of us and look forward to coming back again and trying some new things!

I started with the sushi rice because I'm so used to it being small portions but i actually got full. The portion was very generous and the dish itself was delicious. id go back just for that they also gave me free chips as it was my first time there and they were surprisingly so good. I'm not usually a chip person, but these had the perfect amount of crisp and thickness. rachel and yara were the sweetest servers ever and very attentive.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and was immediately seated. The gentleman at the front was so nice when I entered. Rex was friendly and. made sure I was good. Ambiance is very chill and laid back. Good for families, or even a date night. Although it may get a little loud. They do have a patio and it is the lazy dog so expect dogs. :) Now here's what you came here for. The food! Rum barrel punch: 7.5/10 just the right of pineapple flavor, but wish there was a little bit more liquor. Liked the presentation and you get a pretty decent size cup. Next time a little less ice. But overall, I would get it again. Street corn tots: 8/10 these were so delicious! I love potato anything so this was right up my alley. My only gripes are there, weren't enough tots, there were too many tomatoes and I wish it was hotter when it came out. It was lukewarm if that and the cheese had already congealed and I didn't get the cheese pull I would've liked. But overall I enjoyed the flavors together. Baja California burger (added bacon) 8.5/10 this burger was cooked perfectly. I ordered mine medium well and I added bacon. The bun was nice and soft and the flavors really complement each other. I ordered the jalapeño lime aioli on the side and that was really good. It had the perfect amount of spice.

I went with the meatloaf since I kept seeing people call it the best thing on the menu, and they were right. It came topped with that house glaze and a pile of mashed potatoes, and it honestly tasted like something my grandma would have put in front of me on a Sunday. We also tried the pot roast, which was fall apart tender, and made room for the cobbler at the end even though we were stuffed. Big portions, fair prices, and the service was warm without being over the top. There is a sweet little story behind the name too if you flip the menu over. This has quietly become one of our regular stops in McKinney and I do not see that changing, especially with the great service and atmosphere!

The taco salad was just okay , my husband liked it more than I did, but it wasn't something I'd personally crave. The burger, however, was great ! The meat was cooked just right , juicy and tender. The French fries were very flavorful, though slightly on the oily side. For dessert, I tried the cheesecake brûlée and really enjoyed it. The top was nicely burnt, just the way it should be. I also ordered the sangria , I have to say it wasn't really my taste, but my husband liked it since it was on the stronger side. Overall, a good experience and I wouldn't be opposed to coming back .

I enjoyed the spinach dip, but wasn't a huge fan of the fries. Their croissants were delicious. It was quite busy, but we were still seated right away; that was nice! The server took our drink order right away, but kept repeating something different from what was said. My husband ordered, "I'll have a draft Modello," and the server said, "Budweiser?" - 3 times! We later learned that they don't have Modello on draft.... she should have told us. I ordered water with Lemon & no ice. She brought the Modello (in a bottle), water (full of ice), and no lemon. The sweet tea was not sweet, and it was very cloudy... When we mentioned it to the server, she argued that it WAS, in fact, sweet tea (it was not), but she brought out another glass that was also NOT sweet tea. We chose not to say anything; we thought, "Okay... this is not starting off very well." The croissants are always delicious, but having plates to put them on would have been nice. When we ordered, my husband asked for the Cheese bites appetizer before the meal (if you haven't had these, you're missing out!). Then we each placed our order. We had to ask for other items that we shouldn't have had to ask for. Our food was delivered by kitchen staff, and we realized that we never received the appetizer. So, when the server came by, we asked about it. She said, "Let me check." When she came back, she said, "... the kitchen was behind tonight; they are so behind on everything!" My husband asked for the Manager. When he (Kevin W) came over, my husband asked him to step over to another area so as not ruffle anyone. When my husband shared the experience (so far) with the Manager, he was not happy with what had been told to us... and said "...the kitchen is NOT behind at all, and that the server had put in the cheese bites order AFTER the food was made (like when we asked her about it). The Manager was very kind and apologetic, and said to ask for him if we needed anything. Our granddaughter had the Shrimp with fries and red beans-n-rice... she said the RB&R was terrible... no juice, no flavor, just a bunch of almost dry beans & rice. She barely ate her food! Our Chicken tenders were wonderful as always, but the Broccoli-cheese casserole was not good at all... it was pretty much Broccoli stems with cheese & a ton of bread crumbs on top! We were never offered refills for our beverages or beer, and everything took a long time, but the people who arrived long after us were served quickly. We left there so disappointed and frustrated that a place we LOVE allows such terrible service; as it's a big negative against the establishment, even if the food is normally great! When she brought us the check, the table was still full of dishes, so we asked her to please clear some of them. There's more to this, but isn't this enough? If ya made it this far (thanks). We will try them again. We LOVE Cheddar's and hope the next time is much better!! Carry on :-)

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Located in Frisco, Dad Jokes Cheesyburger is worth the drive from Dallas County. The restaurant's indoor seating is very small, but the outdoor seating when the weather is nice (March or October) adds to the laid-back vibe that caters to everyone from families to hardcore burger lovers. 1 Star. Service - This is counter service with a smile! The staff will take your order, you get your own drinks, and when your name is called your food is ready. On my visit I got to meet the great Clayton (owner/proprietor/dad joke expert). He was super nice, told me a dad joke, and he is a great follow on Instagram. 1 Star. Food - Dad Jokes Cheesyburger caught my attention because of the OK Burger. This popular burger smashes onions directly into the patty. I made mine a double and was rewarded with a big, juicy, beefy bite with onion flavors that complemented (not over-powered) the bite. I paired with the Smoked Tots. These super crunchy and tasty tots are paired with chili, chives, and smokey BBQ sauce. It's hard to top tots - unless you top it with chili. It was less of a side or more of a hearty side dish - a perfect complement to my OK Burger. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I heard about the OK Burger and made the 40-minute drive from Irving-Las Colinas to Frisco. Not only would I repeat the drive, but I would also invite my friends to join me and for some tasty bites and jokes. I hope they don't get EXHAUSTED. 1 Star.
