This was my first visit to Spitz, but definitely won't be my last. For those looking for a great Mediterranean lunch with a great variety of wraps and bowls, this is a place I highly recommend. I personally had a Mediterranean Wrap with sweet potato fries and a drink. I consider myself a pretty good eater, but the wrap and the serving size of fries was large! I had to take the second half of my wrap and half of the fries home. (I look forward to my mid-afternoon meal today! They have a great variety of options, including a lot of vegan options. The service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was very clean and comfortable. My friends and I enjoyed the food and the dining area. We were craving Mediterranean and found this place with great reviews so decided to drive out here and try it out. The places decorations are pretty cool, hip street vibe. Service was bland, nothing to write home about. Nobody was exceptionally courteous but also not a negative interaction. The soda fountain was great, I had the Dr. Doctor. I had the med salad with quinoa and chicken. The quinoa was clumpy, the chicken was dry and over cooked and the garbanzo beans tasted burnt. The hummus was good, the veggies were fresh. I liked this place until cashier Aleena. She completely ignored me when I was trying to pick up a to-go order. I get she was taking someone's order at the register when I walked up, but then 5 more people got in line. She then checked all of them out before coming to ask what I needed. She even walked past me to ask the first person a question about their order. I told her I was just waiting on a to-go order when she walked past me and flat out ignored me. I watched as my food just sat in front of me in a bag behind the counter. Luckily there are SOOOOO many food options around that I wont bother coming back. read more

We have usually ordered to-go from here. The staff is very kind and friendly. The food is pretty decent. We love the remix bowl, berliner bowl and the paneer tikka bowl. The problem is with the packaging. For a to-go order, the packaging is quite bad. This is the 2nd time that the food leaked / fell in the carry bag. And this time, it leaked so much, that the carry on bag tore because of the leaked bag and the food fell in the car. My only suggestion is, please check food is packed properly before it's picked and the lids are secure. It's no fun cleaning leaked food from the car and the smell that lasts for days is another thing altogether. Apart from this, there is lots of free parking on site. read more

I'll be honest I always thought this restaurant was a salad place when I saw it recommended on yelp. I was in the area eating at another restaurant next door and saw the Mediterranean tag under the sign. I told myself I would come back and visit. A few weeks later I came to try it on my lunch break. I ordered the Zesty Feta Doner with chicken, beef and lamb. I took my food back to work. I took my first bite and was stunned. How could I have not tried this place before the meat was so tender and delicious. The fires were different and I wasn't expecting the flavor combo. Spitz is a cool place. I like the chill vibe and the hi-lo seating options. We were a big group, about 15/17 peeps and we distributed ourselves amongst various tables, kids and adults separated. They have indoor and covered outdoor seating. Food is ordered at the counter. They have a good variety of options and the food looks pretty. When it comes out it matches them pics, it is a feast for your eyes. I liked my wrap. It was pretty bug and tasty. It definitely needed sauce, spicy being my pick. I have worked several food service industry jobs and know that you are opened until the posted time. To my surprise, Spitz -Frisco doesn't follow the hours posted on their website. I arrived at 9:20 and the worker told me they were already closed, yet their door was opened. I drove 45 minutes and had I known they closed at 9:20 vs 9:30, I wouldn't have driven that far. I would suggest changing the hours to 9pm that way customers aren't turned away. read more

This restaurant is one of my favorites for Mediterranean Street Style food in Frisco. I've been here a few times, and whenever I'm in Frisco I try to grab something to-go because it's so fresh and filling. My first experience with them was dine-in with a friend back when I lived in Frisco. I was honestly blown away by the quality of food (i.e. it was all very fresh), portion sizes (very generous) and the overall hospitality of the staff. Also, all of the sauces we tried were a great accent to the bright flavors on the menu. My absolute favorite was the Lemon-Herb Tahini, but the Harissa, the Garlic Aioli - all so so good! Spitz - Frisco has a little bit of everything, which is what matters the most when it comes to food. They were very accommodating. I think someone following a Gluten-free, Plant-based or Vegetarian lifestyle (or even a picky eater) could find something that they would enjoy here. Things I've tried and absolutely loved: -Greek Side Salad with Tahini Lemon Dressing (add roasted corn!) -Remix bowl with Falafel (sub lettuce for cabbage slaw, makes it vegan) -Mixed Signature Fries + Sweet Potato Fries with Garlic Aioli -Side Falafel with Hummus -Berliner Doner (with Falafel or Chicken) -Mediterranean Doner (with Lamb) -Doquitos (so so good!) I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in town for work or visiting friends and family, because of the freshness and flavor of the food. The portion sizes required leftovers, and the Greek Salad keeps well. I typically enjoy it the next day for lunch. Check out their menu online before you head there to dine-in, their beautiful food photos are what really got me excited to stop by. Oh WOW. I love me a good vegan wrap and Spitz has it! I mean everything was tightly wrapped up and beautifully cut on the diagonal. It was so big that I had to save 1/2 for later. I really loved the sauce that it comes with, I requested it to be on the side and I'm so glad that I did so I could dip my wrap in it and save it for the other half I was going to eat later. My sis got the salad bowl and it was hearty! Super fresh and the thing that topped it was the crunchy chickpeas on top, yum! We'll be back to try the gyro next time! read more

You have GOT to try this place. I had dokitos and a side of fries. The fries were hot and crispy and tasted so good. The dokitos were perfectly fried and I had the beef and lamb version. My friends and I met here for a quick birthday dinner and they rolled out the red carpet after my friends kept announcing it was my birthday, they were so kind to treat us to a little baklava treat and lots of happy birthday wishes super sweet!!! Food: -I ordered the doquitos- they compare it to taquitos- BOMB! Flavor explosion. Crispy- crunchy-amazing! I lite really had my leftovers for breakfast. Extra points for letting us get our own sauce (the garlic one was super tasty). But minus a couple of points though for the initial impression with the service. I was out and about in the area and decided to give Spitz a try. I'm glad I did! I ordered the Chicken Street Cart Wrap on their website so that it would be ready when I got there. The wrap itself is bigger than I expected, which isn't a bad thing. As I walked in, the employees were very inviting and friendly. The ambiance was also nice. I ordered my wrap with extra chicken because I'm big on protein. I loved the taste of the wrap. It had great flavor. I thought the chicken would be chunks. Instead, it was more like slivers of meat, which was okay. I think I would have preferred chunks of meat though. One thing I could say is that this wrap was not dry and had lots of ingredients. Dropped in for a quick bite to eat. We were not super hungry but had heard great things. We sampled both of the loaded fries. They were both extremely tasty but if we had to choose one we would choose the sweet potato fries as a better choice. Don't get me wrong they were both good. We paid extra to add the lamb gyro meat as a protein topping. We collectively decided the sweet potato was a better choice because of the waffle fry shape. The waffle fry allowed maximum coverage of all of the toppings. If the regular fries were also cut the same I am not sure I would still feel the same. First time visiting. The store was well decorated and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food tasted really good and the portions were big. The prices were reasonable and comparable to similar restaurants. The only thing that could be improved was that the paper around the wrap was stuck to it and it made it fall apart when I was able to. I'm definitely coming back again. read more
