If you're in Mansfield, Salata is really the only casual dining salad place, and boy do they know it! I've been here a few times without issues, but the last two times we're lackluster at best. a few weeks back, an hour before close, they were out of red onions, a key ingredient in my salad. The girl sent someone to the back to check, and I didn't find out they were out until I was checking out. No apology issued from the staff. I also refuse to believe there were zero red onions in their fridge, I'm sure they just didn't want to cut anymore so close to closing time. Today I went, starving so I got the large salad for the first time. Contrary to sensibility, the large salad only contains more lettuce, not more toppings or dressing. If I have more lettuce, I at least need more dressing than a small salad. I asked the employees about it and they couldn't care less. I mean, I'll be back I guess. What choice do I have? read more

This was my first time at Salata and I just wanted to compliment the lovely employees at this location. I would also like to appreciate them being kind to my mom as she doesn't speak much English. I'm always greeted with a smile, a hello, a thank you & goodbye. The staff always offers samples of proteins even though I usually stick to chipotle chicken. Im so happy that Mansfield finally has a salata! I tried it the other day with my parents and it was really good. The employees were so friendly and kind and the restaurant was very clean. Hands down, the best salad dressings of any restaurant. They're all homemade! My favorite is the herb vinaigrette and the honey mustard. read more

Amazing. All ingredients are fresh and the best quality. The people are kind, patient and friendly. We arrived 6 minutes after closing and they let us in....with smiles and a genuine pleasure to serve. We told them that we'd be happy to take it to go. Hello deliciousness! This is no ordinary salad bar. It's an incredible salad bar with an amazing amount of variables to choose from. The vegan protein options are superb, who doesn't love quinoa in their salad? The kale and spring mix are crisp with a delightful crunch. The variety of beans are scrumptious and washed well. The environment is bright and clean with a really cool modern vibe. A wonderful place for a fulfilling lunch when you're on the go. There's plenty of seating and if you've never been before, ordering is a breeze. First, you choose a bowl size. Then you get your base, add ons and proteins. Finish that off with something to drink and the open seat yourself area has always been very clean on each of my visits. Definitely recommend! read more

Me and my boyfriend came to this place on Monday. I was so super excited because one, I love salad, two there's not really any healthy options around us. So we ate and I loved it and I woke up in the middle of the night that night feeling very very sick. The next day (Tuesday) I went to work and I was so lightheaded, nauseous, and dizzy. That I could barely stand. I went home to have horrid stomach pains and diarrhea and I'm missing work today. So 3 days of suffering food poisoning and 30 dollars down the drain for a salad. I had high hopes for this place and I was even saying how I would come every day! but I sadly will not return because I never want to feel this sick again. I believe it had something to do with the lettuce, as I got the spring mix and the slats mix and my boyfriend got the slats mix and romaine. So would I recommend for the salad? Yes. But your taking a chance with getting food poisoning. Oh and also we went at about 7:30 pm, and two of the teas had a rotten smell and taste. I know what rotted tea smells like and the smell and taste we so bad that the two flavors didn't even taste different. We threw both of our drinks away, so get a water cup or soda. Also since it was our first time, I didn't know we could taste different items to ensure we would like it until I saw someone else do it. So employees need better training on how to explain the line to the customers. As again this is a brand new place to Mansfield. And the servings for the toppings are about a table spoon and they charge 3 dollars for one tiny tiny scoop of chicken and ANOTHER 3 if you ask for another scoop. read more

I'm not sure who is managing this location but it didn't seem very clean to me. The areas where the food is served didn't appear to be maintained. In addition, the food was exposed to the air and the elements so it appeared dried out. The dining area wasn't clean with crumbs on the tables and chairs and unswept below the tables. I gave it an additional star since the food was tasty, but any restaurant that doesn't appear clean at first glance is questionable, in my opinion. The kids working there didn't appear to be enthusiastic either. I won't be back. read more

Was really happy to find a Salata in Mansfield. The service wasn't as fast as I would have liked but the salads clearly make up for that. Fresh chopped veggies, loads of greens and your choice of protein gives endless options for building the best salad. Love this place! Could eat here every day. read more

I am so glad we finally got a Salata in Mansfield! I love all of the different combinations of salads and wraps you can make with all of the different choices of toppings. It's so nice to have a healthy alternative to eating out! The staff is very friendly, however they need to ensure that the silverware bar is always stocked. I have eaten there on three different occasions to where I had to ask someone to restock the forks. Other than that, I love it! read more

I love Salata but as of lately this new location in Mansfield is getting worse on cleanliness and presentation. I have went several times and had to ask for the workers to fill up the lettuce and toppings. The avocado is always brown and there's just a mess everywhere on the salad bar. The tables are dirty with bowls and the floor has water from ice. Not an establishment I wish to keep paying $12 for a salad and the salad bar doesn't look appetizing. read more
