Love the salad here they really hook you up with large portions. This is a place you can go and get enough food to feel extremely full but still healthy at the same time. They have a bunch a large variety of different types of lettuce you can get as well as veggies and cheeses you can add to your salad. The food is super healthy and it's very clean here. The staff are friendly and I like how they serve the food right in front of you. It's always nice to see how my food is handled that way I know exactly what I'm eating and I have peace of mind that nothing is wrong with the food while eating it. I tried to convince myself I'd go here more often to be healthy but I haven't. I'm not one of those people that can really get full off of just a salad. The restaurant is nice, spacious, and clean and parking is convenient. The regular salads with a slice of garlic bread are reasonably price for the large amount you get and start at $8 without meat. Pros: Fresh produce. Tons of of variety in greens and veggies. Lots of fruit, cheeses, and nuts. I love feta, nuts, and fruits of all kinds in my salad so thats great for me that I can load up on whatever I want. I also like fruit vinaigrettes so the mango dressing is perfect for me. They also have an assortment of other things to put in your salad like beans and croutons etc. The portion is huge for the regular salad and I can never finish. I need to get the small size next time. Different sizes are a plus also! Cons: Meat quality is a disappointment. Chicken is pretty bland and looks processed and is cold. They also don't offer any kind of beef and I haven't tried the seafood because that doesn't appeal to me. Doesn't measure up to the protein toppings at my favorite salad place, Tender Greens in California. You get a slice of bread with your salad here and it is super tiny and sometimes not very crispy or warm. The menu is also very limited. You pretty much have to get a salad here. I went to Salata with a friend of mine and had an amazing experience. The servers there were very helpful, nice, and had a good sense of humor with each customer. I don't remember her name, but the sweetest girl rang us up. While she was was ringing me out an incredibly rude customer shoved me away from the register and grabbed a bottle opener from behind the counter. While he did this our cashier offered him assistance but instead he gruffly remarked with, "Maybe next time..." And threw the bottle caps on the counter in front of her. She handled it very well and politely. I just wanted to remark on how well our servers, (the other with glasses), handled the situation and gave us a great experience as well. 10/10 will eat again. read more

I was really looking forward to becoming a regular here. If you're coming for a good salad you found the right place. If you want to pay 10 dollars for it even better! Overall this place had a good selection of toppings, dressings, and proteins to choose from, but this being my first time being here I wanted to take away from the whole experience. I took away two stars because the service I received was horrible. I went with a friend, who recommended the place, around 1 which was probably a bit of lunch rush. There wasn't much of line. They had 6 people working including a manager up in the front(I don't know how many more in the back). One person for each station. One for putting in greens, one for veggies, one for dressings, one for proteins, and one for soups and bread. None of them were smiling, they all looked miserable to be there. All the ingredients are listed in front of the glass(with calories) as you're going down the line so you can see them. Each person asks you want you want in your bowl as it's going down the line. The thing is it's going down there line faster then your line is even moving so you have someone asking you what you want when you're not even in front of them! Very rushed. My friend previously told me you can try the dressings to see which you prefer to your liking as well. Which I did, and the girl working the counter seemed so unenthused to offer such a thing. Nearing the end of the line,where you can ask for soup with your salad, I was just about to ask and the lady immediately moved on to the next customers in line before I got a chance to. Those customers proceeded to ask her how she was doing and she stated back "how do you think I'm doing.." . I asked her for my soup anyway and she never responded so I wasn't even sure she heard me, then I saw her get the soup I ask for and toss it down still with no response. In front of me my friend was asked if he wanted break, he said no, and the lady still put bread in there. Now that we're nearing the end we can really too it off. The man as the cashier kindly asked my friend if he wanted a drink then finished the transaction. When I got to the register the man never asked me anything, never made eye contact. In fact he started having a conversation with the customers behind me because they were apparently regulars, he just held out his hand for my card. That's no way to make new regulars. Overall the customer service quality was some of the worst I've ever seen. I work at a high volume starbucks store and there small lunch rush is no reason for such customer service. This review is NOT about the food here at salata because its wonderful we all know but on the customer service I received ordering the salad to my preference. The boy ( not gentlemen ) that was in charge of the first 3 sections , POINTS his finger at not just me but whoever was next in line, greeted me with a " YOU , (FINGER POINTING) THIS SECTION " with absolutely 0 worries about showing any sort of customer service beside throwing together my order I'm placing at this HIGH END salad bar , not drive thru at fast food joint. He passes down my order to next employee who I was beyond satisfied with as she added the protien and assured and offered if I needed anything else. She passes down my order to the next boy who was the finishing touches to my order. With equivalent attitude as the first employee that was clearly shown before any interaction between us occurred. I move down and as I'm waiting for him to finish up the person ahead of me , he grabs my bowl and without asking anything throws 2 big spoons of bacon in my made-to-order salad in which I can not consume pork. I try stopping him as I see him scooping the bacon yet he lacked to show any sort of attentiveness to catch himself. I ask him what he is doing , and just as a confused customer as why he would add something to my order that I didn't ask for , I tell him that I don't want bacon in my salad. He then grabs a small drinking cup and attempts to scoop out the bacon, at same time scooping out 2 pieces of crab and tossing it out. Leaving plenty of visible bacon smashed in my salad from him trying to use the cup. I was very irate that the fact I told him I couldn't have pork due to health issues and instead of giving a fuck. He used a damn cup. My salad should have been remade properly due to my circumstances. Yet I was shown absolutely zero respect, zero customer service, and zero satisfaction of my experience at salata. Very very disappointed I have invested alot of money enjoying this place in the past and for second time now this has happen with equivalent or less customer service both times. Didn't not get my salad had to walk out of the restaurant before my patients ran out. Normally fast salad conjures up thoughts of iceberg lettuce and cherry tomatoes without any flavor. Salata is anything but that, and offers an array of options to please the healthy eater. It is set up very much like a Chipotle style line, just pick salad or wrap and then start choosing toppings. The green options included spinach, romaine, or field mix. The toppings include things like sun-dried tomatoes, beets, carrots, pumpkin seeds, cucumbers, garbanzo beans, etc. Plenty of different cheese items, and I lost count of how many salad dressings they offer. For an extra charge protein can be added: a couple of different marinated grilled chicken items, salmon, or shrimp. Each salad is then served with slice of bread. I picked a pesto garlic slice and it was delicious. For a very filling salad and drink it was around $12. I thought very reasonable considering how much it would cost if I purchased all of those items to make at home. Salata will now be my go-to for salad cravings. read more
