The ordering process can be hit or miss...we come a few times a month. If you get something that they have to make and not just soup and salad, you may have to go check on it to see if they've forgotten. But the salad bar is always clean and stocked and the tables cleaned quickly. We usually order the chili and tomato basil soup. I have ordered their sandwiches and they've all been delicious. Jason's Deli isn't as great as it used to be. The prices have gone up and the dishes have gotten skimpier. I used to order the zucchini garden pasta and it would be chock full of veggies, and topped with stringy melted cheese. Now it's just a cafeteria food version of that. Please train your staff and change your signs. I am a 100% sure a side salad is not the same as a salad bar. I went with my husband today and and when I ordered a sandwich I asked if I could have the salad bar as well. The clerk said I could have a side salad, and I said I didn't want a side salad, I wanted the salad bar (One trip). She said that was fine. I have never eaten at a Jason's Deli before I got the chance a few times a couple weeks ago. They don't exist in the PNW where I am from. However, they were very close to a hotel that I was staying in for a couple weeks, so I got the chance to give them a try 3 times. I was not disappointed in any visit. Upon walking in, you are divided up to separate customers to those picking up takeout orders, those needing to place a takeout order (like me), and those wanting to dine-in. They do have paper menus, but they are posted opposite of the registers if you don't want to touch one. The pricing at Jason's Deli is very reasonable. I like a simple sandwich and it cost me about $7.90 for it and a bag of chips. There are lots of ways to have your sandwich prepared, but since I just need lettuce, tomato, pickle, and mayo, I'm easy. I didn't notice if they have sub sandwich styles, but I got mine one large pieces of bread that I got toasted. I got turkey, but they had several choices and lots of cheese options (which I also don't care for). The first time I was there I wanted to try something besides a sandwich, so I got a bowl of their chili. It was close to closing time, so I imagine the chili had been sitting for quite a while. It tasted that way. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't very good, either. It was fairly dark which led me to believe it had been sitting for a bit and that is to be expected when you walk in not long before closing time. All 3 of my orders took no more than 5 minutes top to be made, even with other people ordering and some Grub Hub pick ups while my stuff was being made. The staff was very friendly and patient, especially my first time through the process. If the owner or managers happen to see this year, I was very impressed with the staff's attitude, their patience, and their pace. They deserve kudos! The sandwiches were all pretty good. Toasted just right, a decent amount of turkey, and a tasty pickle to go with it. I thought the value was pretty good for a healthier option than the other places around this location. I actually kind of wish one of these was close by instead of a Subway. These guys are fast, friendly, and the quality of the food is good as well as being a good value. If I was to travel across the country and saw another Jason's Deli, I wouldn't hesitate to go in and get something to eat because the experience was very well done at this location. read more

My wife and I are always game for a stop at Jason's Deli! Today we placed an online order (very easy to do) and it was ready when we arrived. We had asked for it to be bagged separately as we were dropping off some at a friends and the meals were bagged as we asked. My wife ordered the chicken club salad with some Mac and cheese and I ordered the managers special with the Carmel sandwich, broccoli cheese soup, and fruit. My wife's salad was very good. It was very fresh and filling (plenty of chicken, avocado, and bacon). Only comment was that there was quite a bit of cheese on it. My sandwich was excellent. It's hard for me to get away from the muffaletta but I'm glad I did. There was just a hint of spice with the peppers that added a great flavor. All of our sides were tasty as well.
