Both beverages were flavorful but were served in very small stainless cups so a couple of sips made them disappear. All the food tasted great, including the chutneys. We were disappointed we didn't get to try our favorite green mint chutney since they were in the process of making more. The standout for us was definitely the dosa, which was perfectly crispy and thin. Many places serve thin and crispy dosas but what made this one extra special for us was that it did not shatter into small pieces like a cracker. The filling was on the mild side but very tasty. Prices were reasonable and the portion size was decent. Even though there were new workers being trained, the service was excellent overall. The restaurant was clean and there was ample mix of tables and booths. We will go back to try other items on the menu.

The meat tasted fresh, was well-marinated, and cooked perfectly. The naan was also incredibly fresh and paired really well with the kababs. The potato samosas were crispy and flavorful, too. My only critique was the chana that came with the halwa puri combo--it was decent but felt like it could have used a bit more seasoning and tasted a little fresher. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal and would definitely come back for the kababs and fresh naan.

For the main course we tried the cashew jackfruit curry which is a must try if you're here, it was really delicious. For $16.99 (?), the dish had one piece of beef and a large bone with what I assumed was marrow. When I tried to spoon it out, it looked frozen or congealed, and touching it confirmed it was cold. We rang the bell again, since the entire staff was in the kitchen and no one was watching the guest area. When the owner came over, I asked if the dish was supposed to be served cold. She got defensive and immediately said it had been "boiled." I told her we wouldn't be eating it and asked if she'd like to touch the marrow and gravy herself to see. Her response was, "What am I supposed to do?" She took the plate away, said she'd warm it up, and bring it back. I said no we weren't going to eat it at that point. She offered to credit the card but kept implying we'd been unhappy from the start. For asking the difference between, dahi puri and pani puri.
