Third time here because I really wanted to like it! The produce is good but because of the customer service I'm giving it a 3, since I can't do 2.5!... Im going to break it down, place is clean, always tidy and well stocked, prices are decent just watch when they ring you up. First second and last time I went the cashiers are just so sour faced! You normally walk up to checkout stand and say "hi how are you, how's your day" blah blah right, I never get a response back just a flat "do you want a bag" .....ok I guess people really don't know how to provide good customer service anymore. Like if you don't want to be there Don't show up, or don't apply for a position where you are required to provide some sort of customer service. I took my own bag and when asked if I wanted a bag I just said no ty I brought mine....birds chirping.....LOL. when did grocery/produce stores stop bagging? She gave me total and I paid....and I didn't see her want to bag my produce so I started to bag on my own, some of the produce was a little far away from me closer to her end and instead of her doing the bare minimum and pushing it toward me she just stepped back, I mean atleast shove it towards me no!?. So again, don't apply at a place where you lack at least the bare minimum requirements. Algunos productos estaban un poco lejos de mí, más cerca de ella, y en lugar de hacer lo mínimo indispensable y empujarlos hacia mí, simplemente retrocedió. Salinas Fresh Produce looks like a nice store, clean, well stocked. The problem is the employees refuse to cover their faces during a pandemic. Employees that handle food directly leave their noses exposed, last time I was there I counted 3 workers at the butcher counter with their noses exposed dealing directly with customer's food. The cashier was exactly the same. I like to buy local and support the smaller businesses but the lack of empathy and responsibility is too much for me to make me go back. I'll stick to Nob Hills, Star Market and Lucky's which are all nearby and have no problem protecting their customers. read more

Cashier Fatima was very rude. Didn't greet us nor acknowledge us, was on her phone the whole time while ringing us up and had an attitude.

I went last night really close to closing time. They kindly let me in. I needed some quick items and it was my first time in there. I was impressed with the quality of their produce. Be careful when buying here. The cashiers fail to give customers advertised price per pound when weighing produce by adding lbs. Or adding wrong items to receipt and putting price of other similar produce. Unfair price gouging marked up non organic produce. Not a customer any more. read more

This is my favorite local store, fresh produce and affordable prices. I even loved them more today because they are really trust worthy as I forgot my expensive designer sunglasses in their cart while I was shopping with my toddler they kept it for me and I just received them.
