So this is the 3rd time I tend to schedule an appointment with a specific person and at a certain time and every time I go I am paired with someone else. I would say it's fine but then I don't understand why on their website it would have me choose a specific person if they don't pay attention to that. Today I went in with a 9am appointment and once again didn't get the person I requested as they were working with someone else. I decided to continue with the person they placed. I picked a deep pink mauve color. When the person brings the color it's the one I selected on the chart yet when he puts the color on it's a yellow brown and I communicate is this the right color as it does not match the tag on the bottle either. The first coat looks yellow brown he insists it's the right color and I need to wait for more coats of color. I decided fine let me wait for the end result as he is done with all the coats. During the prep of my nails there are certain cuts he makes so I bleed obviously and still proceeds to use the nail paint brush even tho it just touched some blood which I thought wasn't sanitary for whoever will use that color next. As he applies the coats the color definite does not look like anything I picked. He takes some color off and reapplies the coats on several fingers and at this point my hands have been in and out of the machine like 8 times. Because of this I have some fingers that are not the same color. For example my ring finger looks darker brown and the rest yellow brown. Then by the end he tries fixing the end of where he applied nail polish and is way too harsh with the nail filer that he creates a cut. Over all my experience was not great and even tho I communicate the color wasn't it I just felt like there was no accommodation or realizing that yeah the bottle is labeled wrong.

What I find to be absolutely ridiculous is the fact my lash artist refused to work me in when I reported losing multiple lashes on both eyes due to my lash schedule being thrown off by a whimsical vacation she decided to take. Everyone deserves to take a vacation, however the business owner/lash artist should also consider accommodating their client when they report losing multiple lashes in one week because their over due for a fill! Verses expecting them to wait over a week until their next scheduled appointment! I was told " I have nothing, I'm really busy fitting people in since my vacation". "I absolutely appreciate you, I appreciate all my ladies to the fullest". "I just wish there were more hours in the day". After receiving that response via email, I felt far from an appreciated customer who always kept scheduled appointments, referred others and left a generous gratuity in her hand every two weeks! If you decide to use this studio please have a back-up lash artist on speed dial because you will NOT get worked in with Sheila unless she's reworking her schedule prior to going on a whimsical vacation! Hopefully providing an excellent customer experience becomes the focus of their business model one day! ______________ 09/27 update ______________ After contacting the lash studio with photos showing the shape my lashes were in, I received this blank Thank You card with a partial refund of my last service. WOW! Notice the chunky clumps of lashes in my photo below? For those of you reading the raving reviews following mine about the wonderful lash retention this handful of people experience after a little gossip session with Sheila. FYI ~ Sure adding copious amounts of glue to clumps of lashes verses individually placing them will most definitely make the lashes stay on but it's not healthy for your natural lashes. I always wondered why my eyelids were so puffy/itchy at times and how she was able to do a fill in 45 minutes. It took my new lash artist a while to remove the glue clumps! Keep it classy Shek lash studio and stop gossiping about your former clients for shedding light on your lack of professionalism!

It's be great to get that done! I am so glad that I went to Lola for my treatment, my scalp feels so clean and refreshed and I feel like a new person. The entire experience from the jump was great, it's a welcoming space with calming sounds and essential oil diffusers that set the mood as you enter the spa space. The bedding and blankets were actually a surprise and I was a little nervous as it's hard for me to relax sometimes.. Lola fixed that! The spa experience was so relaxing that I was really close to falling asleep on multiple occasions. Thank God I don't snore if I did.. When I went it was a new pregnant lady and I drove 20 min because of the results im used to getting but I was disappointed. My eyebrows were barely cleaned up and didn't really thread anything but the middle of my eyebrows and underneath and this lady threaded my skin off under my eyebrow and also took a chunk out of my other brow plus while threading she caught a piece of my eyelashes. She is nice and professional. The first time when I met her, she didn't talk much during our session. This time, she was making conversation - she stated that my last visit was 5 years ago, what's new, what changed, etc. Since I was going to New Orleans, we talked a lot about that.
