Awful experience! The owner MIran is unprofessional and inconsiderate of his customers time. I've been a loyal customer for years and every single appointment I have been to, he was late. Not to mention, he triple books himself every time. He does 3 to 4 other people's appointments, while you wait patiently unattended to. He doesn't even do the hair dye either... he has his untrained assistants do it. Also he is not with the better business bureau. There is a reason his business is unaccredited. Last time I went, he yelled at me in front of the entire salon. Not sure how he is a business owner entrusted with people's hair . He should not work with people. His attitude is unbelievable and don't be surprised when he turns on you. I was a customer for years and last time, he lost his mind on me for no reason. read more

If you are in the business of dealing with customers, you have to be polite, especially if customers are respectful with you. I get that dealing with people is challenging, but this client was not speaking to him in a rude way, however his reply to the customer was arrogant and rather hostile. read more

My hairdresser is AWESOME, however, I cannot recommend the salon. Stations are not spaced 6 feet apart, and not all operators wear proper masks, nor do their clients. I want to continue to support my longtime hairdresser, but do not feel safe in this salon. read more

Mehran came with a strong recommendation from a friend whose hair always looks fabulous. I have long hair and needed new highlights. What I liked is that he was friendly, salon was nice, and also that he put bleach only half way into my hair so my ends would not dry out (most salons don't do this). I specifically told him several times I did not want my hair too light. At the end of 90 min, I ended up with GREEN highlights and very, very bright light hair that I did not want. I did tell him it was way too light, and he said I should go home and "think about it", and return if I don't like it. I did not notice the green hues until I got in the car. My 9 year old even said "Why do you have green hair?!" I called to let him know there was too much "ash" color in my hair and my highlights had turned GREEN! Again, instead of fixing it, he advised me to wash it a few times and return. I was going on a trip and instead asked my mom (who is a retired hair stylist) to fix my hair, which she successfully was able to do. $180 out the door and useless highlights. I was very disappointed to say the least. He did throw in a $90 haircut for free and I didn't even like the cut. The ends were too thin. read more

Alright - I don't really care about where I get my hair done. Basically, I keep going to the same place that some girl I was dating took me to until the current girlfriend takes me somewhere new. So this is how I started going here and met DeeDee. Since then, I keep going back. DeeDee is awesome and she always takes great care of me. Shampoo at the start, a good quick cut that never feels rushed, then another rinse off afterward and a blow (dry). She even trims up the wild stray hairs in my eyebrows. For not a whole lot more than a place like Supercuts, I get to make an appointment, see the same person (who remembers me), and get a wash, cut and style, plus a cup of coffee if I am so inclined. I can't vouch for anyone else there, though the place is popular and seems to have lots of regulars, but DeeDee is awesome. I've sent my finance and her daughter there and they've been treated great. I've been coming here for about about 7 years now to get my haircut by Jay. He does such a great job every time and is a really cool dude. He is very accommodating and always fits me into his schedule with a simple text message. Really happy with this place. The staff and all of the stylist are super friendly. I live 35-40 minutes away but it's totally worth the drive. There are refreshments in the waiting area as you walk in to the left and the reception to the right. I have been going to Salon Boucle for about 7 years and having my hair done by Myra...never disappointed! She always gives me the best, in-style cut, hi-lights and style! After years of straightening (with a flat iron) my hair, I decided to have Myra do the Japanese iStraight. It is permanent, unlike the keratin treatments and others that are semi permanent. I was worried about having it done on top of my hi-lights. End result, my hair is super straight, soft in texture and shiny! I LOVE it!!! I had it done a year ago and just have to straighten my roots as it grows out, which is hassle free. My hair takes half the time to dry and style. We relocated to Nor Cal and I still have Myra do my hair every time we are in So Cal. I am getting the iStraight touched up in the next couple of months. Usually I'll just walk in any cheap neighborhood place but in February some direct sales guy sold me Smart Card promotion package. So I thought I'd put it to use for my semi annual hair cut. Up near Tustin Ave is a fancy schmancy plaza with filled with luxury cars and there you'll find this particular salon. This is a beautiful studio, doesn't feel cold and clinical like I expected. They had a few flat screens playing the Justin Timberlake concert, modern style furnishings, and a huge galley style working area. Julie the stylist was welcoming and helpful in finding out what I wanted as well as making suggestions. Feels good to have expensive conditioning and layers again. I've been searching for a good stylist for over a year now, and I'm happy to say I finally found a home for my hair! Last week, I was in a rush to freshen up my hairstyle in time for my new job, and luckily I found Donny at Salon Boucle. He fit me into his very busy schedule and even stayed late since I wasn't able to get to the salon until the evening. I didn't have any pictures of what I wanted my new 'do to look like, but Donny listened attentively to what I described and recreated it perfectly! What I wanted was very different for me and could have gone horribly wrong with someone less skilled (it involved cutting off a lot of length and bolder hair color). I'm so happy with how it turned out. Plus, Donny was so much fun to chat with and made the entire experience a delight. He also showed me easy techniques for styling my hair at home, which has been really helpful, as there's nothing more disappointing than getting a great haircut, but not being able to recreate the style yourself. This review is for Teresa. Amazing eyebrow stylist. She shapes your eyebrows in a naturally beautiful way. I'm not kidding, if you want beautifully shaped runway/model eyebrows that compliment your face go to her!!!! You will not be disappointed at all. I always and I mean always, get compliments from everyone on how nice my eyebrows are. Teresa really knows her craft, her hands are magic. She spends about 45 minutes to an hour on your eyebrows. She really takes her time and prides in her work. All the other estheticians I've been to take no less than 10-15 minutes and I'm out the door. I don't know what I would ever do without her. Many people have tried other estheticians or had to go as an emergency when Teresa has been out of town traveling and they always come back to her. She is AMAZING!!!! You will not regret it!! I truly cannot emphasize how amazing she is at eyebrow shaping. I always wonder why she isn't working in Hollywood for all the celebrities but I guess thats good for me. :) Seriously girls, stop using eyebrow pencils or any other eyebrow enhancers out there in the market to achieve nice thick eyebrows. I got my hair done by Tami Cartwright. I did a Keratin treatment, hair cut and highlighted with two colors. It was my first time trying the Keratin and I don't know why I waited so long to do it. I have natural curly hair and after I got the treatment, my hair felt silky soft. I couldn't stop running my fingers through it. Even my husband couldn't keep his hands off. My hair was the softest I've ever felt it. When I blow dry it now, it takes half the time and I don't need to use a straightener at all. She took her time and was not rushed. I absolutely LOVE my hair now! It's been about 2 months and I will need another Keratin treatment next month. Perfect, just in time for summer! Tami's 30+ years of experience really shows. I found this salon on yelp and called late in the day and lucky for me they squeezed me in with Jan. She fixed all the problems my last hair dresser created with my hair and wow she made my hair look great! And it continued to look good even after many washings....the color did not fade. The cut she gave me is great for my long hair. Just had my second visit to cover my gray regrowth and again she did a beautiful job on my hair. I get compliments all the time now ! I wish I had found Jan a lot sooner instead of trial and many errors with other stylists! Did I mention she is also a very nice person? I really like that she has a ton of experience too... She really knows her stuff! And her services are really affordable, honestly I have paid a lot more elsewhere and was never this happy. Great salon! Very comfortable atmosphere. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcomed. All the workers are very stylish so you know you're at the right place! I asked for cut and color. I told them not too short and not too dark either. Well, I had a lot of split ends and I give five stars just for his endurance to get rid and trim off of most of them. When he dyed my hair, he dyed my hair a medium brown which ended up looking almost black with caramel highlights(that I loved!) In the end, my hair ended up shorter than I expected and darker, but it was one of the best hair styles I've had! If you want to have a great hairstyle with advice from experts, this is the place to go! But if you know exactly what you want, make sure you tell them thoroughly how you want it. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Arlene who is an esthetician at Salon Boucle. The private treatment room is relaxing and she has introduced me to many different treatments without being aggressive. She has also helped make my eyebrows look the best they have in years. Arlene has introduced me to this wonderful brand of mineral makeup called Youngblood, I was not aware that mineral makeup could come in a liquid form. It is so much better for my skin and the color match is perfect while giving me the coverage that I prefer. Arlene is always very happy to see me and extremely accommodating. Arlene also happens to be the manicurist at Salon Boucle, and she has been taking care of my nails for years. I love how natural they look, I get compliments on them all the time.
