PLEASE READ!!! Horrible, horrible, horrible! The woman that did my gel manicure was so rude. And she kept asking ME for the time as if she wanted to rush the job to have the rest of her shift free. And so she did! BUBBLES, SMUDGES, places where she filed some polish off, didnt completly cover my nails with polish, and most disgustingly, while we waited for the previous gel polish I had on to come off she CLIPPED HER TOENAILS in front of me! I've been coming here for years! First, to cut my hair when I was younger then I started getting my nails done. I've paid for multiple manicures and gel manicures and they always chipped too soon. I was so disappointed I stopped going altogether. I didn't think it was worth it to pay the amount only to have my nail chipping off 5 days later. Well, Vanessa has restored my faith in this place! She is the only one I will go with now. My gel manicures are lasting and the quality is just so great! No uneven surface or nail polish where there isn't supposed to be. I would love to give them more than 3 stars but they really need to organize the way they see guest. Possibly start a sign in sheet? They just grab whoever and it's a constant fight of "I was here before her". Appointments should at least be made 24hr in advance. It isn't fair to say walk in welcomes and have someone call in for an appointment and show up 5 min later and yet they jump in line before everyone. I made an appointment for Angel at 6:30 pm on a Thursday for a pedicure and manicure. I arrived 15 minutes early to find her working on someone. After 30 minutes she takes me. She begins to give me a rusher pedicure because by now she has 2 other people waiting on her. I then remind her that I made an appointment for a manicure with her as well and she said no I have other people waiting. I was beyond angry. If you are the owner of this business I hope you read this review and learn that customers make your business successful. One of the nails was shorter than the rest and it didn't even look like they were acrylic (that's how short it was!) I told home this one looks really short compared to the rest. His suggest was to make the rest shorter I said no bc I liked the length of the rest. He tried to fix it but kept hurting me in the process. I informed him he was hurting me and completely ignored me. He then "fixed" the nail but left it extremely thick! By this point he was frustrated and kept telling me it was fine to leave it like that. It was then I said no I'm leaving. He kept holding my hand so I wouldn't leave. This review is solely based on the salon aspect. Elvia cuts my hair and does my highlights. Always love the way the takes her time cutting away the old and sculpting layers into my hair. She also corrected my old highlights and made told me about a coniditioner to keep the yellow out. Everyone compliments me on them. So happy. Finding a good hair dresser for me is hard. She always listens to my suggestions and is always gentle with my cuts. Have been here three times already, forgot to check in. I have also had my nails done w/ gel by the other part of the salon. I came here for a simple manicure. I only wanted the gel removed off my nails and a clear coat. They lady that attended me was Kim and it was a pretty upsetting experience. First of, she was being overly aggressive w/ the wrong tool. She used a nail file that is only suppose to be use for acrylic nails on my natural nails and when I asked her if she could please be a little gentle, she snapped at me. She put her tools to the side, and asked me if I wanted to do them myself. I said no, that I was only asking her to be a little gentle. She continued to do my nails, and while visible upset she started talking in Vietnamese. She wasn't any more gentle than before, if anything I could feel her be upset. At this point I was beyond uncomfortable and of course upset. I told her that it was ok, that it didn't seem like she wanted to continue and I would just pay for the work that she's done and leave.
