The dynamic at the salon is happy-go-lucky and the owner is an absolute sweetheart. I found this place because my hair stylist moved to this location and I've got to say I'm glad she did. My stylist's name is Arus (@_hairbyarus) and she is my godsend! Not everyone can execute an ombré to perfection, but I can say she's mastered it. She listens to YOU and caters to whatever it is that you want, while making sure your hair is as healthy as possible in the process. When she's not coloring hair, she's an awesome hair stylist. I had the most amazing experience with Vahe! My appointment was at 3 pm for color and once I got there he was ready to work. I was also greeted with some coffee and water which is very nice of them. I let him know about how my hair takes in color faster than other areas on my hair and he made sure to check on me constantly opening up the aluminum to make sure the color was coming out how I wanted it. I was extremely happy with the result color. The way he blended everything in was amazing, it looks great straight or curled! He also needed to cut my hair a little, the dead ends after the dye. I'm not big on cutting my hair ever and when I told him to only cut a certain amount he listened to exactly what I said, he trimmed it a little, left the length and evened it out since the last place I went to gave me an uneven hair cut. I have a follow up appointment to tone and I'm sure another session in the future to continue lightening up my hair. I can't wait! This place deserves a 5-star rating not only because of the great hairstyle and hair color provided by the owner himself Vahe that alone deserves a 5-star rating but it's also the great customer service given by Vahe to my mom and sister!! He accommodated them by opening up the salon on a Sunday!! He made them feel like he's been doing their hair for years!! Finally a salon that knows whats up.. all the stylists are great and they have their distinct clients, men and women, and they cater to the highest standards of cut, color, style. They have full make up services, they have awesome facials. The place is booming, bustling music, lively fun stylists and equally cool clients. They offer coffee and water, they even offer to feed your meter if your time is running short; just so you don't leave out mid-service. Make sure you book in advance because they are so goo and so busy, they get filled up quickly. Also, ,they work some long hours, so accommodating working busy people after their business is not a problem. I think the owner is the guy who is stationed in the front, next to the welcome counter. He is so upbeat, and positive; but never acts like the boss. He is super friendly to his staff and all the clients, regardless of who they are seeing. I went in for a haircut and showed photos of what I wanted. The stylist left the front way too long. So I went back to have her fix it. She cut the fro t shorter and at least 6 inches off the back. My hair was to the middle of my back and now it's at my shoulders. On top of that she charged me again the full price to "fix" what she didn't do right to begin with. So disappointed. I wish I had never gone in there. It will take 6 months for my hair to grow that long. Don't risk it. read more
