Thank god he was able to squeeze me in, because i was starting to look like a bag lady, haha... there are simply not enough hours in a day, and it's quite difficult to make time for simple things, like, hair maintenance! Tommy is very knowledgeable, a great conversationalist, and truly a joy to work with. He also pays very close attention to detail! I'm very particular with who I let touch my head of hair, because it is SO THICK, frizzy, stubborn. Since we were already there, I asked about getting my roots done. I got balayage done by another salon about 6 months ago and when I called that same salon to see if they can do my roots, they said they can't just do the roots and will have to do the whole thing all over again for $600. I dont want to damage my hair even more than it already is and I couldn't fully believe they couldn't just touch up my roots so I decided to ask Tommy on his opinion and he says he can definitely just do my so I will be making my appointment with him next week! I asked for a trim for my hair and bangs and some layers. He cut my bangs a bit too short but it's bearable to me. However, when he was done with my hair, I didn't know he was done. Except for my hair was shorter, my bangs were split and my hair was still really thick. I asked him to do layers, he simply just cut some part of my hair shorter. My hair now looks like it with no style at all but shorter and uneven on both sides. I am thinking if I should go somewhere to fix my hair or wait for my hair to be longer. A couple days ago, I spontaneously decided to cut my hair the shortest I ever would've had it. I was really nervous and especially wanted someone good to cut my hair, since I was going for such a dramatic change. Before, I had terrible choppy layers that left my hair awkwardly short and long. I wanted to go for an A-line haircut to get rid of the awkward lengths altogether and I showed Tommy some pictures for the length that I was going for. Tommy is super sweet and very sociable while providing you with a relaxing haircut. He told me how short my hair was going to be in the back, while showing me the longest length my hair would be in the front. He definitely put me at ease and the rest of the time was a breeze! I love how my hair looks now; it feels so fresh and healthy :)! I definitely recommend him for any sort of hair treatment, as he does all sorts of things: perms, styles, etc, and seems like he'd be really good at coloring (his hairs pretty rad). This is my 4th or 5th time seeing Tommy for a haircut and every time, he has earned 5 stars. I first came to Tommy after a disastrous haircut from another salon. The problem was that, I couldn't exactly figure out why I hated my haircut. It just "looked weird" and no matter how I styled it, it just looked off. Best hair coloring and service I've ever experienced at a salon hands down!! I wanted to get highlights and mistakenly decided to give my neighbor, who claimed to have been a hair stylist, a chance.
