Golden is golden!! Best haircut of my life! I am a VERY picky, VERY difficult client, and Golden handles me perfectly. She is sweet and knowledgeable and can somehow figure out just what I want without me being able to describe it well. She is a self-described "technichal" hair stylist who would prefer to do things according to stylistic guidelines, but she doesn't mind being brought out of her comfort zone to make her clients happy. AND she doesn't do it haphazardly...she takes her time and really listens to exactly what you want and tries to accomplish it within the rules of proper haircutting. She actually refused to continue cutting my hair recently when I kept telling her, "More layers...I need more layers." She knew exactly when enough was enough! And truly, this is the first haircut I've ever had where my layers are cute and spunky and don't look stringy. I really don't even need to style it a whole lot...it kind of styles itself as I dry it. I have always been extremely picky and particular when it come to my hair and who cuts it. My sister, Chrissy, is a hair stylist here at Salon Dexterity. I'm so particular that it took me a while to allow even her to cut my hair. What a mistake and waste of time/effort that was! I won't even consider anyone else these days!! She always listens to her clients and caters to their needs or desires. Even when she doesn't fully agree she will always listen, give professional advice, and still do exactly what you ask or need. Her goal is to make her clients as happy and pleased as possible. The salon is always clean and had an overall fun, professional atmosphere. The beverage options they offer is quite nice as well. More than a five star salon!!! This salon is hands down the best salon experience I've ever had! They fit my daughter and I in so quick which was more than appreciated! Jacqui and Amanda C were so wonderful, they both did great on our cuts. Amanda was amazing with my 3 year old and managed to fix what she had done trying to cut her own hair she was so patient and made it fun for her, even the owner jumped in the fun to help keep her head still. Jacqui was so sweet and thorough, took her time and did an awesome job taking my hair from past my shoulders to an A-symmetrical pixie. I recently visited this salon for a haircut, and unfortunately, my experience wasn't great. First, the stylist didn't cut enough off, which was frustrating. But what really got me was that both sides of my haircut were uneven. It looked like two different styles! When I reached out to the salon to request a redo, I was disappointed to find they wouldn't accommodate my schedule. I felt like my concerns weren't taken seriously at all. Overall, I definitely don't recommend this salon. I left feeling dissatisfied and still searching for the haircut I wanted. Save your time and money! read more

I just love It! ....She really knows what looks good for my face & skin color & listens carefully to any concerns I may have.
