I drive 30 mins for him to do my nails. He's been doing them since they were in the Raintree shopping center. It's always clean there, spotless in fact, and the salon is beautiful. Kyle and Pam (the owners) redid the whole inside themselves! There is privacy between the stations so other people can't hear your conversations which I like because, well, people don't need to know my business that I talk about with Kyle. It's nothing important but I like that there is that barrier there. They are cash or check and have an ATM in the vestibule. Oh and the fantastic, friendly woman that makes the appointments at the desk is always looking her best! She's super cool and always has great hair, makeup, clothes and cool glasses on! The interaction was tense, dismissive, and uncomfortable, which is why I spoke up at the time. Whether that tone shows on "video" does not change how it was experienced in person. The facial also caused a major breakout. My skin is still healing! I've had plenty of facials before, and this is the first time I've ever had a reaction like this. I did not previously leave a positive review. This was my first visit and my only review. Instead of taking responsibility or apologizing, the spa is pointing fingers at me, citing "footage" and a supposed positive review that doesn't exist. Their response is ridiculous and only reinforces how unprofessional this business is. My original review stands. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've never had such a hostile and weird experience at a spa. I spent over $125 on a facial and $100 for two products for my birthday, only to find it smelled disgusting and when I looked at it more closely it was expired. From the moment I walked in and tried to return them, the receptionist was aggressive, rude, and interrogating, as if I owed her an explanation. When I mentioned returning the second unopened item (that wasn't "expired"), she treated me even worse. I literally had to say, "There is no reason to be so nasty to me?" because her behavior was so unprofessional. She then called the owner in front of me, framing the situation to deny the return. I was told she would "make an exception," as if the return was some huge favor. FYI, I was never told products were nonrefundable, and selling expired ones should be corrected without argument. To top it off, the facial caused a horrific breakout. I won't be returning and would caution others before spending money here.

Terrible customer service, rude and dismissive. I was debating on purchasing a package, she put the charge through while I was still asking questions about the package. I got an alert from my credit card company and she said she thought I wanted the package and would have to refund me. One week later nothing was refunded, and when I called to inquire she refused to listen and said it would have to go through corporate. When I asked to be allowed to explain the situation she said no you're done and hung up on me. I went to the location and asked for her name but she knew it was me and she literally said "I'm not giving you my name". I will never return to this location unless she no longer works here. If EWC is concerned about rectifying this awful customer service, I can also provide a photo of her so they know exactly which employee needs to be dealt with.

The best $25 blowout EVER!…read more I love this salon and their policy of only charging $25 for a blowout regardless how long or thick your hair is! Considering some salons want to charge $45 for the same service - I only have been using The Concept Salon since I moved back to New Jersey! I also love the salon's easy online booking system; you can see all available appointments and book whenever you need. The salon is very modern and clean. The receptionists always offer you water or coffee even when they are busy - which in my opinion never goes unnoticed. The stylists all take their time and care about what type of blowout you want- I personally prefer Desiree. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because the salon does not allow you to book your blowout with the stylist you want; they give you whoever is available which in my opinion is time consuming. If you have a hair stylist you prefer and want to go to regularly is it beneficial for both parties. The hair stylist will eventually know how the customer likes their blowout, so customers do not have to waste time in the beginning explaining or showing the stylist photos. I would LOVE if the salon allowed customers to book with specific stylists, other that I would highly recommend this salon if you are looking for a blowout.
