I've been here twice and both times what I've appreciated most is the efficiency of the experience. I show the stylist a picture of what I'm looking for, my hair is washed thoroughly, and then there's about 30 minutes of styling. All in all, I'm usually done in 45 minutes or less and my hair looks gorgeous. The cost of the blowout is $60 (plus tip) so it's a little luxury but it's not too wild (and still wayyy cheaper than DryBar). Will be making this my go to spot for those special occasion blowouts!

It was hard trying to maintain conversations with her, and I just felt judged the entire time. I couldn't help but notice her unwelcome facial expressions when I glanced in the mirror, as well as her condescending tone. Here's one of the main moments that stuck out to me: while drying my hair, she rudely said "ummm did you paint or something?" I said no... after the long silence I asked why she would ask. She said "well it's like. White. You don't have lice but it looks like dried paint. It's probably because your scalp is so dry." Okay... thanks? After I asked her to try to take whatever it was out of my hair she ignored me and roughly brushed my hair. I can list so many other rude moments that happened within the hour that I was there. I tried not to let this experience affect my mood for MY ENGAGEMENT. My hair was NOT the same as the reference photos, not even close. It was literally just curled and not blown out or styled the way I wanted. I tried to have her brush and fix my hair after she said it was done. I was so over it and didn't want to cause a scene. I paid and left. Which by the way- my hair was flat by the time my engagement happened. My appointment was around 1:30 and my engagement was at 5. Completely flat. Thanks for nothing. I had really high hopes because of the happy and positive reviews Laura had. Disappointed to say the least. Won't come back again. Don't book unless you want the session to be silent, underwhelming, and definitely treated wrongfully.

I had to repeatedly follow up to confirm the appointment time and address. On the day of my appointment, I arrived and messaged her to let her know I was there. My husband was with me, and she did not come over to greet or introduce herself. Instead, I was left waiting until the salon manager had to step in and inform her that I was there. During the appointment itself, things seemed fine. She blow-dried and curled my hair so I could see the results. I paid in full, including tip, and left the salon without noticing any immediate issues. However, a few days later, when I went to style my hair into a slick bun (which is required for my sister's wedding), I noticed significant blotchiness and dark spots throughout my blonde hair on the top of my head. It was very noticeable and not what I expected after a professional service. I reached out to Jasmin early in the morning and did not receive a response until several hours later. When she did respond, she said she did not have time to fix my hair and suggested I go to another stylist and ask them to correct it. I explained that I needed her to fix it before the wedding, but she said she could only see me two weeks later. I asked if she could recommend someone at the salon or make any effort to help resolve the issue sooner, but she declined. I also offered flexibility with my schedule, including weekends, but was told she was not comfortable servicing me and she ultimately refused to fix the problem. As a paying client, I was very disappointed that the issue was not addressed, especially given the timing before an important event. I will have to end up having to seek another stylist at additional cost to correct the work. Overall, I would not recommend based on my experience, particularly due to the lack of communication, professionalism, and willingness to resolve a service issue. I called the salon to speak to a manager but no one answered.

Jessie made sure with me throughout the appointment if I was okay with what she had recommended. She knew exactly where she wanted to start my layers and even took the time to show me how to style my hair on my own as well! At the previous hair salon they would thin out my hair so so much. Yes, it did feel lighter but often times I'd leave the appointment feeling as though they had thinned it out way too much. Jessie made sure not to thin it and even told me herself since I already had thin wavy hair it was best to avoid that. The hairstyle she gave me is very easy to maintain as well as she assured me it would look fine as it grows out as well. So excited to go back and try out maybe a different style of bangs with her!
