Beautiful new salon. The salon gives Bohemian vibes, which is an instant relaxation for me. I arrived in the evening for a hair consultation. I gave the run down of my hair history to Eason so he can give me his expertise on hair care and treatment. We talked about what my hair goals are and recommended me on colors and products for my hair. The consultation took about 15-20 minutes. Eason then proceeded to book my appointment and give me an estimate of what my cost will be. I love this because I hate surprises. People may complain about the cost of doing hair is expensive, but you get what you pay for. During the whole processes of coloring my hair, Eason and his team would check on me to see how I am doing. Sitting in a chair for hours can be exhausting but trust the process! Salon is gorgeous, no doubt abt that. Brought me in to take a peak. Last min i decided i need a make over cause I have not pampered myself in a while. But who do I trust cause my hair is on the shorter and sensitive side. The picture of the salon appealed to me and it's Sat evening so most salons were closed. My friend and I decided to go last min. Unfortunately they were only able to take one of us. My poor friend decided to sacrafice her beauty and let me go or maybe I need it more really!!?? Front desk was super nice and welcoming. I've been to the location on Bellaire a few times, and they never let me down. The Heights location just opened and brings a similar vibe: clean and modern without feeling cramped despite being a slightly smaller shop. As many know, the Heights has been up and coming over the years, so the area is upscale industrial. Normally, I just go in for a trim or a soft fade. A couple of weeks ago, I got my first perm with Jack. He kindly guided me through the process and gave me tips and pointers. It came out great. Even when I wasn't sure how to maintain it due to having heavy, straight hair, he took me back in. We did a few adjustments, and he gave me more pointers. The following is my son's review: Eason is a very good hair stylist. He provided me tips on how to handle my hair after I got a perm. He also helped me find out what kind of hair style would compliment my perm, face, and head shape. I am very happy with the results. The Oribe products are really nice. The vibe of the salon is chill, and the snacks and beverage Eason offered was a cool bonus. -GTH Eason did such a great job with my older son, I booked an appointment for my younger son later the same day. I am so excited that Salon Per Se opened in the heights! I've been to the Bellaire location a few times and loved it. Just glad there's another one even closer to the inner city. More people will be able to experience their incredible artistic touch. The aesthetic of this salon is chef's kiss. It was my first time getting my hair styled by Eason. He was very professional, attentive, and friendly. I highly recommend him! Not going to gate keep but hope I can still get my appointments with him. I am a short hair girly and he did not make me look like lord farquaad! All my short hair girlies would understand. I started going to Eason at Salon Per Se in Chinatown two years ago and have not looked back since. I usually get a root touch up or refresh of color for the season, but what I love the most is the haircut. I was shocked when I gave Eason a picture of what I wanted and he gave me that exact cut -- who does that to THAT level of satisfaction? The whole staff wants to go above and beyond with service. Jack and his assistant Jay show they are so knowledgeable by reviewing my hair. They can see my hair history and talk about my current state of hair and I confirm the details with them. I had a lot of precious patchy balayage done somewhere else. They talk me through what I want and the process of getting there. They do the same when working on my hair as well and making fun conversations all the while make sure I'm comfortable. I have a long thick hair so it took them a lot time but they were kind, feed me snacks, and I loved the end results!
