Salon Rose thank you very much A few days ago I was looking for a place to dye and cut my hair, I contacted its owner on instagram and she was very kind to explain that she no longer takes appointments but that she had her own salon with very qualified staff to recommend it to me, that was great ... Today I was with Ryan Silva and I can really only give good recommendations about the Salon, the place is clean, spacious, well located, easy to park your car, with a good vibe, those who attended me were friendly and of course Ryan excellent, he gave me an advice on what was best for me and by taking his ideas into account he really did a great job, i'm so excited with my hair . I'll no longer have to go on adventures to do my hair, today I can say that Salon Rose is the place, my favorite place I recommend it. I came into this salon my first time for a haircut. Marianne was very friendly and comforting. After a bad extension job somewhere else I lost a lot of hair. Salon Rosé is hands down the best new salon in town!! My appointment was with Kristin and she exceeded all my expectations! She made sure to connect with me before my appointment many times to get a true idea of what I was looking for in color and wow did she deliver!! I am super low maintenance (like get my hair colored twice a year MAX) so I wanted something that would still look amazing while growing out/in between color. OMG I seriously could not be happier. Rose is so talented and so good at what she does and is my go to hairstylist. I've been going to Rose for about 2 and a half years now and won't go anywhere else. All the other hairstylist at Salon Rose are as good, so no matter who you go to they are as talented and do amazing work. This salon is top notch and won't go anywhere else. I just have to say what a cute little place! Everyone here was so welcoming and friendly. Kristin was my stylist and boy does this woman have magic hands and ears that listen! I'm a mom of 2 boys and didn't want anything I had to keep up with, but needed a hair refresher! She did an amazing job and gave me and amazing hair cut. she gives you a good shampoo with a great head massage! I loved that the shampoo bowls adjusted to you because im very petite and usually hate how I have to sit. These shampoo bowls were AMAZING. They have unit products which I LOVE as well! read more

Had no intentions of leaving a review until I reached out to the salon personally and politely for help and received a call from the owner where I was called a liar and that I pretty much didn't know what I was doing. I recently got a cut and perm service done, and it just past the 48 hour window yesterday afternoon, I washed my hair last night with a double shampoo and the smell on it is still absolutely atrocious. It's a constant smell when dry, but actively reeks like rotten eggs and sulfur when even a little wet. There was a lot of confusion during booking already and I was informed upon arrival that Mackenzie is could not do perms currently, I was informed an assistant would be helping with my service. Come to find out she's never even done perms before and didn't really know what she was doing. My hair came out looking not at all like my reference pictures and coming out with stringy patterns worse than my natural curl pattern (it's just a more uniform look of my previous wave pattern, if not less curly than before). I went in for small ringlets and tight waves and got loose waves . The newbie only washed out the solution for max 2 minutes when that is pm unheard of and it should be at least 10, then this smell was sealed in with the neutralizer. I understand everyone learns, but I really would have rather went with a different stylist than an untrained first time assistant which I wasn't made aware of until during the process. The owner Rose also tried to lie and say that the assistant was being watched over during the whole rinsing process and that it lasts five minutes (neither of which is true). I don't think it's unreasonable for a $300 service (much costlier than other salons), to expect curlier hair similar to my pictures and to not smell like a skunk in a gas leak. This smell is far far worse than that of any other perms I or family/friends have been around and I'm far from the first person to get a perm done (people can't even be in the room with me when it's wet and I get very nauseous). Absolutely no reason that my hair should smell 5x worse than the actual chemicals during the perming process. Rose will try to gaslight you into believing that this level of smell is normal, that your own experience in the salon was made up, and that you need to spend more money on their products and styling appointments to fix it (my hair is already naturally wavy/curly, I KNOW how to style and manage it, that's not the problem). Overall management was a mess, the owner has a serious attitude problem, and you should avoid this salon unless you want to waste hundreds of dollars with nothing, but a forced apology to come from the salon. Again, a lot of this could have been forgiven and understood had I not been met with attitude and a blatant disregard for the situation by the owner herself when I reached out. While Mackenzie herself was amazing and I understand her situation, her assistant needs much more training and the owner needs to take a professionalism course. I'm incredibly regretful that I chose this salon to do my perm, it's nothing like what I wanted done and came with an atrocious smell to bat. read more

I went for my first appointment at Salon Rose for a cut this week and what a breath of fresh air. The salon is beautiful modern and smells sooooo good as soon as you walk in the door. My stylist Marian was so sweet, looked at photos consulted with what I wanted (it had been 8 months since my last cut) and she did an awesome job with the cutest bob ever I could not be happier with my cut! I am very pleased with the service I've received at Salon Rose since I began going there after they opened several months ago (I've been there twice now.) Both Rose and Kristin have worked on my hair, and they are both excellent stylists. I get highlights, some extensions, and a haircut, and they were able to get my hair the perfect color each time (highlighted platinum and dirty blond strands, with dark blonde lowlights) and put just a few extensions in to add fullness and texture. I couldn't be happier with my results. It was hard for me to find a salon/stylist to commit to in Henderson and I went to quite a few that didn't do my hair correctly, until I went to Salon Rose. I drove all the way across town because I had seen amazing work on the Salons Instagram but what's going to have me coming back is the service! I had made an appointment with Marian for a haircut and balayage, and upon walking I was kindly greeted by all the staff. I am typically a shy person and easily get uncomfortable especially in settings like a salon but everyone was incredibly welcoming and made me feel 100% comfortable throughout the entire session. The salon itself has a wonderful ambiance, is clean, and very aesthetic. I walked out not only in love with my hair but with 110% certainty that I found my new salon! They squeezed me in after a busy day and got my hair done by Dre. She's incredible. I've never gone to someone who actually knows how to deal with my wavy/curly hair, so this was my first experience with that and now I can never go back. I got my dead ends off and some layers for volume and now my hair dries so nicely, every time.
