I have been looking for a salon to get my hair done for a while. I am glad I chose this establishment. I inquired about getting an appointment and I was booked for 2 days later. EDITH! EDITH! EDITH! I went from red/black hair to blonde. I honestly didn't think she was going to be able to until I started seeing her work on Instagram. Every post would convince me to go to her more and more. I was still hesitant because of the money, but when I asked her how much it would be , I didn't hesitate, and I couldn't have made a better decision, she got me to where I wanted to be. Every other stylist either couldn't get my to blonde, was scared to do it, or were too pricy, but I will never regret going to EDITH! It's a process, it took 4 sessions, but *patience was key* (Even my mom loved my hair, and my mom is picky!) I recommend her HIGHLY, she will keep the conversation going throughout the entire session and make you feel comfortable, and even after the session she will keep up with you to see how your hair is doing. So it's taken me MONTHS to write my review but I got married and pregnant so what can you expect. I had been looking for a new stylist and after visiting a few local salons I was losing so much hope. I was a bleach blonde with plenty of grow out and it was bad. I message salon Thrive and the owner set up for me to speak with Alyssa. Oh man am I sure glad he did. She's heaven sent! She changed my grown out blonde to a beautiful red pixie that I just awed over for days. She did exactly what I asked with photos shown and made me feel so comfortable being there. Always offering me drinks, checking on me in the dryer. She was amazing. I would suggest Alyssa if you're looking for a new stylist. I came to the salon earlier this year, I had just lost my job due to covid and was going to start going to interviews. I messaged the salon to get the exact price so I could know if I could afford it. I was told one price by the owner in a message and was contacted by a stylist. We had scheduled an appointment and then later she texted me telling me she had an emergency and would give me 10% off. I told her it was understandable. When I went to the salon the stylist didn't talk at all. I tried making conversation and she would not give anything. She seemed like she didn't want to be there or care about what i wanted. At the end she charged me almost $100 over what the owner charged and when I told her about the message she said she has her own price and that's with 10% off. And she didn't even care that I told her I just lost my job and only came since I knew the price. She just charged me and left. I was unhappy with the experience and I don't think I should have paid what I paid. I couldn't even tell I got my hair colored. It looked the same as when I went it. Very disappointed. read more

yikes what a disappointing experience- tried this salon out the other day and thought everything was fine after the stylist had curled my hair. I didn't see the problems until the next morning when i straightened my hair. As you can see in the picture, there are sections 1-2 inches longer than the rest of my hair. The section made for my bangs was completely uneven as well :( Wasted $47and went back to my old stylist to have the cut fixed since we were going to a party that night and i needed the cut corrected stat. read more

Tried this salon for the first time and had Courtney S. As a stylist. She gave me one of the worst cuts I've ever had! She was very rough with my head and very hurried. I had Courtney doing my hair today. I get my hair cut about once a year and she did an amazing job. I had hair down to my butt and I wanted to cut a lot of it off but wanted to be able to wear my hair up in a bun for work. And she cut it to a little bit below my shoulders. I was honestly a little nervous about it because that's really short for me. But I trusted her and my hair looks so amazing. It feels so healthy and has volume and just looks amazing. Katie and Alyssa did my hair and makeup for my wedding ceremony and reception (different days), and I absolutely loved it! I hardly wear any makeup day to day, so I often feel frustrated with stylists who insist on applying with a heavy hand. However, they totally nailed the "my face, but better" fresh style that I was going for. They also struck the perfect balance between needing enough eye makeup so as not to appear washed out in photos and not having an overly dramatic, smoky look. My makeup trial passed the fiancé test, since he's usually very picky about makeup not looking too overdone. I had my hair cut today and it was a great experience. I walked in without an appointment and Courtney was able to help me right away. She was very friendly and her pricing was very fair based on the basic haircut I wanted. I explained to her that it had been 10 months since I last hair my hair cut and that I just had a baby so I needed something that's easy to manage. I am not one to post Yelp reviews but after my appointment with Courtney today, I had to make a review. It was my first time visiting Salon Thrive today and I already am so excited to go back! Courtney was so kind and very clear in what she was going to be doing to my hair from start to finish. I came in wanting to get my hair lightened (so I can eventually go blonde!) but I had box dyed my hair black a couple months ago...yikes!! Courtney came up with a plan quickly and was very understanding, which made me feel at ease and feel comfortable. She was so patient, optimistic, and professional through the entire appointment and I am beyond happy with the results. Was in town for the night and just wanted a quick bangs trim. My husband found this place, so I called to see if they could fit me in. They were closed for an event, but Katie (the owner I believe) was really sweet and told me that she could do it if I came in right away. So, I did and she was so kind and did a great job. Katie is fantastic!! I found Salon Thrive via Yelp and called to get an appointment. I saw Katie this week for a haircut - not only did she do a great job, she is also very pleasant! The salon is very cute and there is lots of parking (they share the same lot with Buffalo Wild Wings, Ross and the Sketchers outlet store). I have not had regular stylist in years... honestly in over a decade. I've bounced around based on recommendations from friends, or found Groupons, or just popped into little places for a quick cut. But I really liked this place and Katie... and I'm certain I'll be back. Best experience today. Walked in not knowing ecactly what I wanted. I've been experiencing severe hair loss since a surgery I had. I haven't really talked to anyone about it. When I got there Katie was sitting at the front desk. She was able to take me right away. She talked to me about the hair loss and comforted me telling me I had a ton of new baby hairs growing in. Even though she didn't cut much she reassured me, and even suggested vitamin D which I didn't know would help. When I got ready to leave she asked me to come back and gave me a big hug. While I have not yet personally visited the salon itself, the owner, Katie has done my hair and makeup at my home for a photo shoot. Katie is such a professional and she is one of the sweetest makeup artists you will ever meet. She arrived in a timely fashion with all of supplies ready to go. She took the time before the appointment to discuss the look I was going for and took into consideration the dress, time of day, lighting, my age, my overall objectives and likes. Her products were wonderful Quality! I loved the fake eyelashes, so comfortable and expertly applied. In an hour she transformed me and assisted my curls into a natural style that I loved. She also did a quick powder for my husband so he would look rested in the photo's as well. What a doll! I can't wait to visit her salon for eyelashes. Alisha is absolute perfection. I came in the day after receiving the worst haircut I've ever had from a different salon. My hair had been cut so choppy and so short that the only solution to make it all even and less blunt was to cut it into a bob. I told Alisha I'd been growing my hair out for years and I was so upset that all of that dedication and effort was gone because another woman doesn't know how to handle a pair of scissors. Alisha was very sympathetic and comforting. She made sure I was happy and comfortable through every step of the cut. She tried to leave the hair as long as she could while still fixing all the damaging mistakes from the cut I recieved the day before. She was very friendly and upbeat, I felt like I was having my hair cut by a friend instead if a stranger. Such an amazing salon loved the place especially love my hairstylist EDITH. I always have crazy things done to my hair is get an idea and I go for it I have gone to many hairstylist and they never leave me super amazed and in love with my hair.
