On June 8th, between 12:15pm-12:30pm, I went to pick up an online order for my workplace. I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. I waited towards the Online Order sign but the lady working had ignored me. There wasn't a line when I entered either besides one (guest) gentleman who was being helped, but then when she saw others behind me form a line she directed her attention there. The gentleman noticed I was waiting in line already and said I should be next but she proceeded to help someone else - so I just went to the back of the line since at that point it looked like I was kicked out of line. The male cashier ended up helping me where I addressed my concerns about being ignored. I appreciated that he heard me out about removing the sign for online orders and apologized for it when he really didn't have to. This isn't my first time I was ignored by the lady, which was why I decided to write about this. I do not appreciate being ignored, especially if my order is prepaid and really is just a simple hand off. The pizza also fell apart majority of the time, so overall I was upset with my experience and quality of the food. I wish I got their names but I understood how lunch hour could get and didn't want to waste my lunch over this. I don't think I'll be coming back here. Save yourselves the trouble. read more

My favorite fast food/traditional pizza place in all of Orange County. Really love the crust, perfect thickness (the thin crust NY style), and great toppings. I quite love the meat lovers with thick sausage and the white pizza that gives you some parm + ricotta for something unique. It's all pretty good though, I've had the hawaiian, pepperoni, plain cheese, margherita and enjoyed them all. They also have a good selection of slices as well, unlike some other local places where you can come in and you only see a handful of very sad looking old slices available. Stopped in here on a weekend evening after seeing a movie next door. The slices looked ok, and I had one BBQ Chicken Slice and one Cheese Slice. They were warmed up, and we chose a seat outside. The service was at best, average - as was the pizza. The two employees working seemed a bit bothered to have to serve us, and there were no other guests there. It was around 6:30pm so it wasnt as if they were about to close and we were inconveniencing them, but thats how it felt. If you're looking for NY style pizza, this is not the place. But if you're looking for grandma style pizza, then this is one of the only places that make it in the OC area. I've never had a grandma slice so I don't have anything to compare it to, so I can't say if it was great or not, I just thought it was interesting. It has a super crunchy bottom, and it's also thick and rectangular. It's pretty unique but has no meat. I'd try this again at another pizza stop. The pepperoni pizza was just ok, nothing special. It reminded us of the kind of pizza slices you'd get at a food court, at a college dining hall. We also ordered a pepperoni pinwheel, it was not great. We were the only customer in the restaurant but somehow the cashier forgot about this order so it got burnt. She was really nice and put in another one right away, but when it was served to us, it was warm on some parts and cold in the cheese parts. read more

I was disappointed tonight buying a pizza. I ordered a meatball pizza and not only were there very few pieces of meatball but there were some raw onions scattered in it as well. Did not find that out until I got home with the pizza!! I asked the person at counter if this is all the meatball they put on and they said yes. I said they fill the pepperoni pizza so you cannot even see the cheese. I am paying the same $3.00 for the topping. Also, the meatballs have no taste or seasoning. Very bland. This place was such a hit with family and friends! NY style pizza and the Grandma's pizza were so delicious. Everyone is a pizza critic, so it was such a success that all 20 of our friends and family raved about the pizza! I especially loved their sauce and probably could drink it if that were an option. The meatballs were delicious and the garlic knots were little bombs of buttery, yeasty goodness, and the garlic was robust but not overpowering. When our Grandma Style pizzas arrived, our expectations continued to be exceeded. The crust was crisp, flavorful, and chewy. The toppings worked together beautifully. The marinara and breadcrumbs were packed with flavor, and the mozarella had a great consistency and very little oil. By the end of the meal we were planning our next visit. I've been here a couple times and I love their pizza. It's a go to spot now. Everything tastes so good and fresh. Tonight I went in to pick up our order and as I was putting my dog in the car she tugged on her leash and my pizza hand went off balance, causing a catastrophe of pizza flying everywhere. I went inside to order another pizza because it truly is that good, and Juan, the manager of the location, gave it to me for free! I told them I was fully prepared to pay for it and he insisted. Our pizza place closed and so we tried Sal's. Best decision ever! They use ingredients that are fresh, local and some are homemade. like their Cesar dressing which is amazing! I was thrilled they had a gluten free crust. It's thin, crispy and great! So nice not to have a cauliflower crust. Although they do no have a gluten free kitchen, I have never had a problem.
