It comes with chimichurri and aioli. They also sell various drinks, like Mexican Coke, Peruvian Inca Cola, and other drinks. During our dinner, we saw a man (presumably an owner of sorts) saying hi to customers. I assume they were returning as they seemed to remember each other. These empanadas are the best I've ever had. They are filled with only the tastiest of all fillings. The flavors are balanced, seasoned, and paired magically. The dough is baked, not fried like most empanada places I find. I love that. It makes it so much less greasy and heavy. If you order many different flavors, they code the empanadas by their braided seal. Easy to figure out and no surprises when you order a mix and match. Discovered this spot while waiting for our car repair and we've been coming back since! Super quick service, empanadas come in a pizza box. I went with my girlfriend back in late June and we got a collection of empanadas along with their Choripan sandwich and everything was absolutely delicious. The seasoning, dough, and overall flavour of the empanadas was perfect and the sauces (including a lovely chimichurri) made them all the better. The empanadas don't skimp on the filling and every bite is packed full of flavour! Empanada Man has been #1 spot for empanadas for over a decade now and it hasn't lost its touch at all. We got Chicken, Beef, and Saltena empanadas and the Choripan was the perfect conclusion to a sumptuous meal, a lovely sandwich that had just the right amount of toppings. This update has been long overdue!! I have moved back in the area and this spot has been a Wednesday tradition for my two boys and I for the past couple of years now. What was special here is that, being Muslims who can't eat the non-halal meat, or even have it contaminated our food, we asked them if they could prepare the veggie pizza with no meat contact and a clean or no cut so the knife wouldn't contaminate the pizza either. The staff was super excited to bring to the counter our truly meat-free pizza, and the manager showed is a photo on her phone of the freshly cleaned knife used to cut the pizza. Per the staff's recommendation: beef, salteñas, spinach & cheese, & pepperoni & sausage. Flavors were great in each one. The dough was just a little underdone for me. We decided to order the special for 1 XL Cheese pizza and 6 empanadas for $29.99 plus tax. When we arrived to pick up our order, we were asked for a coupon which we didn't have with us. The owner is from Argentina so there are several wines for sale by the cashier from Argentina. I am definitely returning to pick up a bottle or three! Food: it was lunch time so I ordered the turkey sandwich for $6.99, the combo is $9.99 and includes a drink and chips. I enjoyed the sandwich and it was filling! Of course being at the empanada man we had to try several empanadas $2.99. We ordered the spinach, beef, chicken and pepperoni pizza empanada. The only ding is I wish our server told us which empanada was which instead of us having to bite in to figure it out. However, it made the empanada tasting a mystery so it's all good. I really enjoyed the accompanying pesto sauce. It really brought out the flavors in the empanadas. They do bake their empanadas and I thought they were all delicious. I didn't have high expectations going into Empanada Man Pizzeria, but after having their empanadas, Empanada Man is now one of my go tos for Argentinian empanadas. First off, being a pizzeria, I went in thinking their empanadas was going to just be a small calzone (thick pizza dough), but it wasn't. The dough was perfectly thin and flaky. The fillings were also well seasoned and flavorful. I ordered the beef, chicken, and Salteñas flavors. The order came with a side of spicy mayo and chimichurri. The beef was tender and paired well with the chimichurri sauce. The chicken was tender and had a slight kick. It paired well with the spicy mayo sauce. But the star was the Salteñas. The flavor was complex. Sweetness from the raisins, brininess from the green olives, and paired with the proteins, it was delicious. Try their Napolitana pizza with or without ham. You will never find anything like it in this country. Absolutely delicious! The empanadas are the best and rival grandmas. Service is fast and friendly! If you have questions about something on the menu, they will do a great job of explaining what to expect on your first bite.
