My friend decided to take me to one or her favorite places to eat. From the salsa to the food and horchata. All were so delicious! I wish that there was a closer location to where I live. TL;DR: Always a great option for tacos in Fort Worth A delicious restaurant option for those visiting Sundance Square, Salsa Limon Centro is but one of the branches of this local restaurant group. The menu is fairly comprehensive, with tacos, burritos, bowls and quesadillas, tortas and the awesome el capitan populating it. Just pick the style of dish, and then the type you'd like. I'm partial to the delicious breakfast tacos, eggs/chorizo and egg/bacon, paired with their phenomenal sauces. I had a horcata cocktail, which was mixed very well at the separate bar. If you enjoy competent, flavorful tacos made fresh in a clean, bright environment, then Salsa Limon may be the choice for you. Check out their website, they have several locations throughout Fort Worth (and one in Dallas). Overall: great tacos, good service, and awesome salsas. read more

I went there a few days ago for breakfast tacos, they were horrible... I got potato egg and cheese and instead of cubed potatoes or some type of fried potato there was a scoop of mashed potatoes in my taco, and egg shells. I'm from San Antonio and have had plenty of breakfast tacos in my life and this was by far the absolute worst. read more

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. We decided to go there for late breakfast/lunch. We got tacos and a breakfast burrito. We wanted the chorizo burrito but they were out. The taco with tripa was amazing! The food was overall good. We ordered a caipirosca (Brazilian "margarita") and it was ok. They have different salsas that were really good, very tasty. So many love this place and ive now tried 2x and to me it's just so basic and the proteins used leave much to be desired. Dry and many times underseasoned I wanted to taste the meat more than the tortilla and I could not. It is a clean place with a friendly staff but it's not the authentic taste I love. read more

I ordered migas & the tortillas strips were rubbery. So I asked if they could remake them. They said no that's how they are made. She also said they couldn't refund me. So I said can you replace it with something else, and she looked over to the other ladies & they really didn't want to. They ended up agreeing to make 2 corn tortilla tacos. Salsa Limon catered our Forth Worth wedding at ArtSpace. They were very easy to work with and very affordable. All of our guests loved the fun touch of having a food truck at the wedding. Extremely excellent real Mexican tacos. The have authentic pastor, and great tacos. I had three breakfast tacos that were more than enough for breakfast. My business partner had the pastor bowl which was huge and really tasty. One of the few times I've been actually envious of a taco place outside of Austin. I didn't like tacos until I came here. By far the best taco I've had in my life was the barbacoa breakfast taco (on corn tortillas). The barbacoa was so tender and fatty and juicy, done perfectly well and reminded me of my grandma's cooking. They were extremely generous with the serving of meat especially considering it's only $2.50! The over-easy egg was cooked perfectly with yolk dripping down everywhere. Definitely ask for a fried egg, not scrambled. The cooks/cashiers were friendly, the salsa was awesome, and there's plenty of seating. My only recommendation would be to include an onion, cilantro, and tomato bar. That would've been a fantastic addition to the taco. I also tried the chorizo breakfast taco and the pastor taco. Good for sure but the barbacoa was what blew my mind away. read more

If you are a fan of authentic tacos you will like this place. The tortillas are soft. I've tried several of their lunch tacos. Chicken is my favorite. Breakfast tacos are very good also. The standout for me are the homemade salsas. They have four and all are excellent, especially the green jalapeno! The habenero salsa is so hot you feel like your face will melt when you eat it. Great flavor, but damn is it HOT. Love having this as an option in downtown cowtown. The only suggestion I would have is the service is sometimes inconsistent. Orders sometimes aren't completed correctly but they will quickly fix whatever the issue was. read more

Outstanding food and friendly service! In town for business I decided to walk around downtown Fort Worth looking for a Tex-Mex breakfast. I'm really glad I stopped in at Salsa Limon! It creeps up to the point where you do find yourself looking for a glass of water or just anything to help settle the heat. That's what I loved the most about this burger. Maybe it was the fresno peppers. Maybe it was the habanero cheddar. Whatever it was, I loved it. Now, in terms of the patty, I thought it was great quality. I haven't tried their beef patties to use as a comparison but I still enjoyed the burger very much with the impossible patty. Only qualm about it was that the patty did give way about halfway through. Though, I find that's on par with a good messy burger. Overall, would come again, especially with the immense variety. The next time, I will definitely look to try the Radio Goat - every purchase supports KERA, the local NPR station!

There are lots of burger options to choose from, so there's something for just about everyone. One suggestion would be to add a dedicated toppings section to the menu. When building your own burger, it's difficult to know all of the available topping choices. The only downside to our visit was that there was a very large dog dining inside the restaurant. The staff allowed the dog's water bowl to be placed on the table, and while the dog remained on a leash, several employees stopped to pet it before returning to refill drinks, deliver food, or check on guests. That wasn't something I was comfortable with and took away from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.

I am deeply disappointed and disgusted by the quality of the meat I purchased. I wasted $18 on a breakfast burrito that was inedible and a coke that wasn't even a coca-cola product instead it was some nasty sugary coke. The meat was undercooked and excessively fatty. Upon requesting a refund from the cashier, I informed them of my previous experience with this establishment, where the food had never been served in such a subpar condition. Their response was dismissive, stating that the meat was simply the way it was prepared. I requested that they dispose of the meal if they were unwilling to refund me. Unfortunately, I have to give this establishment a one-star rating and will not return due to their lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction. read more
