We have always enjoyed coming here. From the food and atmosphere and also friendly staff it drew us back in every weekend husband is home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Today, we saw a decline. Not in the staff but there are some minor interior issues which could be addressed. As the dining area and service areas are open plan you can easily see the duct tape doors to the dishwashers area is in dire need of repair versus patching. Also it is rather filthy along the edges. The wall a/c unit also needs to be completely cleaned as it appears to have some grime building up[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Now for the biggest disappointment ... our food. Coffee - yummy Country fried steak biscuit..... yea nope not again. It's just like it says just a huge very thin slice of commercial packaged frozen patty of country fried steak laid across an open faced biscuit. I had a side of fresh fruit. But it was mostly out of season fruit so not sweet and still underripe. Biscuit was light and fluffy but I had to order a piece of cheese and some gravy to hide the flavor of the meat and coating. Chicken and waffles - husband's favorite here but today it wasn't the same at all. Chicken was super dry inside. Waffles he described as no different than ones he makes at the hotel lobby. All in all we will wait some before returning to try again at some point. Thank you to the wait staff for always having smiles and helping each other to keep us happy.

Fried ribs with potato salad. Spectacular!

Local favorite hits the road. That would be Salt & Pepper Cafe, a family operated Acworth gem we visited a year ago for an incredible brunch. They recently added a food truck and it is just as good. We tried it at The Outpost from Drowned Valley Brewing on Euharlee Creek (near Cartersville). A compact but flavorful menu featured the best food truck meal we've had to date (that includes lobster rolls, craft pizza, Phillies, Asian, etc.) Our new favorite: fried ribs. Five meaty ribs with light breading and just enough fry taste. We were cautious; our annual cardiologist visit was three days off. No worries; this was perfect. The side was a healthy helping of fresh potato salad. We paired it with Drowned Valley's just-released summer shandy (3.5 percent ABV). Also good: Chicken tenders with fries. We've added Salt & Pepper mobile to our stalking list as we'd do this again tomorrow. It was the best $18 we've yet to spend at a food truck. Service: excellent. Fast and you carry a buzzer that tells you the order is up. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance. A food truck with a convenient design and friendly folks making magic inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] How good? We're trying to convince them to open a brick-and-mortar closer to Rome, Ga.

The food here was sooo good. We had some parmasean breakfast potatoes to start....and they are definitely a must have. I had the veggie breakfast skillet. It was delicious. Loaded with veggies and the parmasean potatoes (definitely one of the stars of the dish). I went with scrambled eggs and substituted the mozzarella cheese for cheddar. This was my first time coming here and I will definitely be back. My friend is a regular and mentioned needing to get the parmasean potatoes and she was 1000% right. The menu was good and fairly priced. The waitress was amazing. She was attentive, informative and patient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a cute little spot now that I know about them ill be back and when its warmer We can sit outside on the patio area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lots of parking since this is a plaza. Check them out.

I haven't been here in over 4 years. I was in the area with my daughters and decided to stop for brunch. There was a small wait time (15 minutes) but once we were seated, our waitress came right over. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our table was close to the door so every time it opened, we felt a cool breeze.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our food was fresh and hot and we did not wait too long for it. Our server was amazing. Constantly checking on us and making sure our food was to our liking. The service was just super friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was packed but the noise level was low while we ate our food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My girls loved it so I know we'll have to come back. My daughter said it was the best omelet she ever had.

A friend and I randomly chose this place in Acworth. Menu prices were very reasonable. The place is not so big. We got there around noon and it was packed but was pretty free around 130p. There was a bit of wait for the food but overall everything tasted good. We got the strawberry waffles, the Traditional Breakfast and the fried steak biscuit with gravy.... Potatoes were nice and crispy. Biscuit for the traditional breakfast arrived over 10mins after the plate was served but it was reallllllyyyy good! So get the biscuit. Took a point off because we sat underneath the dripping AC.... Orange juice wasn't filled all the way. My friend and I had the same size juice but she got more... needed to clean my utensils again... If I'm in the area, it's a place I'd definitely visit again

I looked at the selection of "Bubbles" and happily ordered their mimosa. I was so sad to be told that while it was on the menu, they don't have a liquor license. I was also confused because Biscuit Belly didn't seem to have this same problem. The donuts were nice, especially the Carmel one that was warm. The grits bowl had good flavor and was a great portion! My son liked the sauce that came with his chicken and waffles. They don't have hashbrowns. Like, the crispy outside/soft inside traditional breakfast potato isn't a thing here. I'll try again when I can actually order the mimosa they advertise.

It gets pretty full as the hours get later so get there early for prompt service I wanted to order the Chimi Steak Scrambler however the server indicated the steak would not be cooked to order. It is what it is - THAT was pretty disappointing so I settled for the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. The other person ordered the Loaded Home Fry Bowl I believe. The Strawberries and Cream Croissant-style donuts were ordered as a To-go treat. Think funnel cake from the fair. Really good! Overall the place is pretty average. Prices are decent too. Food was paid through a provided QR code. Not sure I'll be back but it's worth a visit.

This would be a perfect place for larger groups such as family get togethers, celebrations, while still seating couples and others. And the portions versus the price point seemed very reasonable to me. They boast a Southern Coastal Cuisine so I went with the Fried Flounder Sandwich dressed in southern slaw and a side of tartar sauce. Served on a Niedlov's (Bakery in Chattanooga) grilled artisan hoagie bun. It was delicious. Crunchy crust and a tender moist fillet on the inside. And that Creamy Dreamy slaw was amazing. Their Fried Chicken Tacos is a must try too. Three hot chicken tenders in four tortillas, topped with corn salsa, cojita cheese, and jalapeño lime ranch. It was an Oh My Gosh experience. They have a very nice outside covered patio that's pet friendly and it all sits on a very large parcel with nice greenery and impressive landscaping. And it looks like they do a very brisk take out business too as I seen many orders being picked up. Awesome cocktails, attentive and responsive service all at a fair price. Definitely a place you want to check out.

Grabbed a quick cocktail before our friends showed up. Good cocktails and service at the bar. Sometimes restaurants have an issue dealing with large groups. The waitress was fantastic and got us through the dinner without any issues and great service. They did put a 20% tip automatically on the bill but I have no issue with that. Overall great experience and would come back if we are ever in the area!

Unfortunately, when I went to order, I was told they were out of rice and not serving it. Very disappointing. I decided to try the 10-piece lemon pepper wings instead and specifically asked for all flats. The order taker said it could be done. However, when my food came out, the wings were mixed. My husband spoke with who I assume was the owner, and she explained that they don't typically sell all flats because it leaves them with too many drums--which is understandable. However, that should have been communicated upfront, as I likely would have ordered something else or chosen to go elsewhere. The dining area also took away from the experience. The tables were filthy, and we had to ask for ours to be cleaned before we could even sit down. To make matters worse, most of the fountain drinks were out. I settled for fruit punch, which unfortunately wasn't good. My husband and son received their meals, and overall, the food was just average at best. Between the unavailable menu items, miscommunication, cleanliness issues, and overall quality, this experience fell short of expectations. We will not be returning.
