I have eaten here 3 times and tried 3 different things and each time was pretty bad and each time has been "to-go". The first time I got the salad. very underwhelming for the price. 2nd time, an omelet that was very DRY with barely any filling. This time I ordered the blue cheese burger which was A. Cold even thought I was early to pick it up. B. Way over done and charred. Like chewing burnt rubber. C. The only thing that actually made me angry was the fact that I ordered the green beans - which on their online menu photo appears to be fresh sautéed spears, but what I got was mushy, cold, canned and nearly flavorless. $4 for a 1/2 cup of canned grean beans? That felt misleading. Please add descriptions of your sides. read more

Great food and great service! It's a small, locally owned restaurant. There is a decent amount of seating with a good amount of space between tables. Our drink order was taken immediately after we sat ourselves and both the hostess and waitress consistently checked in on us. Our drinks never went empty. My younger brother scarfed down his salad (Milan chicken) in what had to be less than five minutes (he had just gotten out of a work out so that's not to say it wasn't a lot of food). He says it was the best chicken salad he's ever had. My sister gets a cobb salad pretty much everywhere she goes, and this one did not disappoint. (She says it was delicious.) I was craving breakfast food which is why we decided to try this place on in the first place. The biscuit was perfect. Thick, buttery, with a nice crunch on the outer layer without being hard. The skillet was delicious, as well, but I feel like it's hard to mess up breakfast food in the first place. Overall, we loved it here, and will definitely be coming back. read more

Great breakfast spot! I love the location because we can drive our golf cart there . It's small, yet quaint. They've gotten really good at their timing on food. Doesn't look like much, and it's in a a low-key residential location, but the food and service is surprisingly good. I've been there twice. Got steak omelette and pancakes first time. Second time, I got salmon with super greens (really tasty) and sweet potato. My hard-to-satisfy brother-in-law liked it and had no complaints. That by itself is amazing! Draw to S & P was location as we don't have any "Ma & Pa" breakfast (all day) joints near the BW / 7Hills subdivisions. It's good to "give local". First visit was for lunch .... and second was for breakfast. Yep, twice in just as many days and their doors have been open for less than a month. My lunch was the Chicken Cheddar BLT (fried) sandwich. Tasty and portion size as expected. My breakfast was the Ultimate Skillet. At 1st glance it seemed small but by the time my plate was empty (yes, it was good) I was full. Oh yea .... did I mention the biscuits! My wife had a "hiccup" with her meal which was quickly addressed with an entire new plate/meal (not just a fix). Our experience has been good and we'll definitely go back. Good luck S & P! read more

I love environment and the staff is always friendly, I ordered the Chicken Biscuit however it just didn't have the flavor or the WOW factor I was expecting. It actually was very boring in flavor. I was expecting the chicken to have some flavor and the gravy to top it off. The bacon on the other hand was very good. I will be back just not expecting the WOW factor anymore with the food. The side potatoes are a joke, you pay $3 and get a small amount. Just not priced good for the customer. read more

I went here with my family for breakfast to try this place out. I ordered the grits bowl and my wife went with the super chicken biscuit. The grits bowl was fairly standard and was a little light on the amount of cheese. The super chicken biscuit was excellent. The background music was just down right awful. I ate there for breakfast Friday morning. The breakfast menu went beyond the standard breakfast meals offering interesting skillet meals, different pancake/waffle options and a variety of biscuits. I had the southwest skillet. The meal was a perfect size and about as good as I could have hoped. All the flavors were great. The meal also comes with a large biscuit. I didn't see that on the menu so it was a nice surprise. We don't have many out of the box food options out our way so it's nice to see a cafe that goes beyond the standards. There are some reviews that mention high prices. It's a small cafe in a good location so I'm sure their overhead is high. When you consider the variety of food, quality, and convenience, the prices are fair. read more

This place is a little local gem that I hope folks will support...there is nothing close by like it and it is really quite good! The parm potatoes are delish and the sausage was so flavorful. The coffee is really good not bitter and quite pleasant. The bread choices were not great but they offer biscuits which we cannot wait to try. The staff is excellent and the area is quiet...we sat outside because the inside was full which was nice albeit a little warm and fly ridden I cannot wait for fall to enjoy it. The inside seating is small but looked ok and the owner wife of husband and wife team (sorry I forgot her name) was really sweet, friendly and a very happy gal - loved meeting her! Having heard so many great things about this place we tried it. A little late for breakfast we both ordered burgers . Mine was ordered medium and then my wife's medium well. That's relative it seems as I would specify as to exactly what you want in terms of the center. Mine was too cooked and my wife is too nice to comment. Her burger however had the cheese wrapper still on the bottom so as she took a bite it was cheese burger and plastic. Waitress was extremely nice and did a great job waiting on the table! All the feedback we have received has been to breakfast, we will most likely skip for lunch in the future and will try breakfast next time as it has been described as being better than Revele which is our normal local place. read more

My mom & I tried out this cafe today for lunch & it was a great experience! The staff was very welcoming & checked on us frequently. Mom had the Classic BLT & I had the Grilled Chicken Cheddar BLT & we both had fries. Our meal was really really good! I've been here a few times and am a pancake person..esp. when it comes to buttermilk cakes. The ones served here are mediocre at best and taste like a "grocery store mix" and not fluffy at all. The taste is barely passable and tastes like a cheap Betty Crocker mix...certainly they can make it better and fluffy...if Cracker Barrel can do it why can't S&P....please fix the recipe so I don't have to drive to CB. There is wayyy too much baking soda/powder and is bitter...I want so much to see your retaurant thrive for my own selfish interests...thx. read more
